Successful Asia-Pacific Die Casting Industry Exhibition''2005

Upon the expectation of practitioners in the die casting industry, the Asia-Pacific Die Casting Industry Exhibition'2005, sponsored by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and China Productivity Promotion Center of Machinery Industry, organized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) and Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China, was successfully held in INTEX Shanghai, China on August 13-17,2005.     

China Foundry Week 2009 Held Successfully in Weihai

China Foundry Week 2009, sponsored by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and organised by the Foundry Institute of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) and the National Productivity Promotion Centre of Foundry Industry (NPPCFI), was held in Weihai, Shandong province from October 24 through 28, 2009.     

China International Foundry, Furnace & Castings Expo 2005

China International Foundry, Furnace & Castings Expo 2005 was successfully held from August 30 to September 3, 2005 in Shenyang International Exhibition Center, which was sponsored by China InternationalEquipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME) and organized by Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China and Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMEC). More than 60 domestic enterprises and overseas enterprises from America, Japan participated in the Expo. These enterprises covers foundry materials, foundry equipment,industrial furnaces, instruments and apparatus, castings supplier, specialist media, etc.     

The 6th China International Diecasting Congress and Exhibition 2008 -- Post Show Report

Sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, organized by the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES） and the Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China, the 6th China International Diecasting Congress and Exhibition 2008, in conjunction with China （Shanghai） International Sourcing Conference 2008 and L. K. Group New Products Release, was successfully held at the INTEX Shanghai Convention,on June 18-21, 2008. Approx. 120 suppliers of die castings and die casting equipment coming from China, Germany, Japan, U.S.A., Switzerland, Italy, Korea, Chinese Hong Kong and Taiwan participated in the exhibition to show their newest technologies and products developed in recent years on 10,000 m^2 space area.     

Top 10 Chinese Casting Enterprises in 2003(by castings production value)

The activity for evaluating Chinese the strongest casting enterprises according to their production value of the castings in 2003, which was sponsored by the Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China and Machinery Weekly of CHINA INDUSTRY NEWS and organized by the Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China and Foundry Journal Agency, was successfully completed. The top 10 Chinese casting enterprises in 2003 were produced. The ceremony of issuing medals and certificates for them was held at the opening ceremony of China Foundry Activity Week on Oct. 11, 2004 in Dalian, China.

The 8the International Foundry,Metalforming & IndustrialFurnaces Exhibition,and the 10the Internationalmetallurgical Industry Expo Held in Beijing The 8th International Foundry, Metalforming & Industrial Furnaces Exhibition, which was organized by the China Foundry Association (CFA) and the Industrial Furnace Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), and the 10th International Metallurgical Industry Expo, which was organized by the China Iron & Steel Association, the Metallurgical Council of China-Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) were held at China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

The Eleventh National Foundry Congress, an event given every four years by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) and the once a year's China Foundry Week were held on September 18-24, 2006 in Xi'an, Shaanxi province.     

Everything is Ready for AFC-11

The 11th Asian Foundry Congress (AFC-11) is to be held in Guangzhou China, from November 12 to 15, 2011. Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) will be the host of the event. The congress will be an opportunity for the international community to exchange ideas and develop a common vision for the future of world foundry industry. It will also offer a better chance for all participants to have a deeper understanding of the traditional Chinese culture. As the host of AFC-11, we will do our best to provide professional service for all participants, and make the AFC-11 a full success. After several months’careful preparation we are now ready for your coming and joining. The AFC-11 draws much attention of not only the Asian but also the global foundrymen. FICMES''s Delegation Attended the 112th Metalcasting Congress in USA

The 112th Metalcasting Congress, in conjunction with CastExpo '08, sponsored by the American Foundry Society (AFS) and the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA), was held in Atlanta, May 17-20, at the Georgia World Congress Center. A seven-member delegation led by Mr. Lou Yanchun, President of Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, attended the event.     

"Wan Feng" Cup Excellent Papers in Diecasting

On June 28, 2006, during the 5th China International Diecasting Congress, a meeting was held by the Paper Evaluation and Competition Commission under Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society to evaluate excellent papers in die casting for these papers published in Foundry, Special Foundry &Nonferrous Alloys, Foundry Technology journals between Jan. and Dec. 2005 and Proceedings of the 5th China International Diecasting Congress, and recommended by their editorial commissions.
