Abstract This paper reviews China’s future fossil fuel supply from the perspectives of physical output and net energy output. Comprehensive analyses of physical output of fossil fuels suggest that China’s total oil production will likely reach its peak, at about 230 Mt/year (or 9.6 EJ/year), in 2018; its total gas production will peak at around 350 Bcm/year (or 13.6 EJ/year) in 2040, while coal production will peak at about 4400 Mt/year (or 91.9 EJ/year) around 2020 or so. In terms of the forecast production of these fuels, there are significant differences among current studies. These differences can be mainly explained by different ultimately recoverable resources assumptions, the nature of the models used, and differences in the historical production data. Due to the future constraints on fossil fuels production, a large gap is projected to grow between domestic supply and demand, which will need to be met by increasing imports. Net energy analyses show that both coal and oil and gas production show a steady declining trend of EROI (energy return on investment) due to the depletion of shallow-buried coal resources and conventional oil and gas resources, which is generally consistent with the approaching peaks of physical production of fossil fuels. The peaks of fossil fuels production, coupled with the decline in EROI ratios, are likely to challenge the sustainable development of Chinese society unless new abundant energy resources with high EROI values can be found. 相似文献

顶层设计导向的炼油全局节能方法及其实施策略,主要包含能源规划、能量集成、单元强化3个层次。能源规划主要通过开展节能顶层设计制定能源配置规划、能量集成方案等指导后续工作;能量集成是基于制定的规划、方案等开展工艺和系统的用能优化及能量集成;单元强化主要开展关键设备和耗能单元的能效提升。以某“能源供应受限”企业为例,验证了全局节能方法的实用性和可靠性。结果表明:通过重油加工路线优化调整,使延迟焦化装置关停后的燃料平衡问题得以解决,外购天然气导致能源成本上升和供应困难问题得到缓解,渣油加工的氢气资源约束消除,企业高附加值商品收率增加3.0%,炼油单位因数能耗降至7.4 kgoe/(t·Eff)(1 kgoe=41.816 MJ),能耗水平进入国内先进行列,企业综合竞争力有效提升。 相似文献

随着环保对车辆排放要求和全球对化石能源节能要求的提高,节能发动机油的规格不断升级,相应地评价发动机油燃料经济性的台架也在逐步升级。本文阐述和分析了GF-1到GF-5节能发动机油规格的差异,着重介绍2010年10月开始认证的GF-5规格相对GF-4规格加入的模拟试验和更苛刻的参数指标。比较了评价节能发动机油的台架程序VIA,VIB,VID测量燃料经济性各工况的润滑状态、操作条件和特性。展望了节能汽油机油规格对基础油、添加剂工业产生的影响。 相似文献

Combustion is a highly efficient technology for energy conversion of biomass materials, municipal wastes, and fossil fuels. In this study, combustion tests of two petroleum residues (P1, P2) in a batch type fixed-bed reactor were presented for different operating conditions. The effects of air flow rate (50–70 L/min) on the combustion parameters (gas temperature and carbon conversion) were performed. Additionally, the influence of fuel flow rate on the environmental characteristics (NOx emissions) was evaluated. The experimental results demonstrated that air flow rate is the most important factor in the process; a higher air fuel rate contributed to higher NOx emissions and gas temperature. It also was found that the NOx emissions increase dramatically when the air flow rate increases. 相似文献

making reference for the scientific establishment of natural gas development strategies and the deepening of the energy revolution, this paper analyzed the role of natural gas in guiding the energy revolution in China and points out the main direction of natural gas utilization
in the Sichuan–Chongqing gas province which takes the lead in China's natural gas industry. The study provides the following findings. First, with a huge space for development, natural gas will play an important role in China's third energy revolution. Second, natural gas resources are abundant and have a huge potential for development in China. Third, natural gas can be used for a large range of purposes in the Sichuan–Chongqing gas province. In addition to be used as city gas, natural gas can also be used for industrial fuel mainly as a substitute for coal, transportation, distributed energy, peak-shaving power generation, and high-end natural gas chemical raw materials.
Some conclusions are made. First, as the cleanest fossil energy and the best fuel, natural gas will play an irreplaceable role in China's third energy revolution in the 21st century. Second, the Sichuan–Chongqing gas province is rich in natural gas, hydropower and other renewable
resources. By 2020, it will become the largest gas production province in China, with natural gas production over 550×108 m3. By 2030, driven by the rapid development of shale gas, gas production in the province is expected to exceed 800×108 m3. Third, the Sichuan–Chongqing gas province is likely to become the leader in China's third energy revolution. 相似文献
