设计了一种主要用于铁路桥梁人行道的复合材料人行道支架。相比原钢制人行道支架,该复合材料人行道支架可减重50%~85%。对复合材料人行道支架进行了有限元分析,仿真计算结果表明该复合材料人行道支架的强度和刚度均满足铁路桥梁人行道使用的技术要求,经过试验验证,该复合材料人行道支架产品的计算分析结果与试验结果基本吻合。研究结果证明了该复合材料人行道支架在实际使用中具有足够的安全性。  相似文献

以汽车碳纤维复合材料引擎盖为研究对象,采用碳纤维复合材料为研究材料,以层合板理论为力学数值模拟CAE设计基础,利用ABAQUS软件对单层级试样准静态拉伸试验和典型U形梁结构准静态三点弯试验进行仿真,然后进行了台架模态和抗凹刚度测试。采用概念设计、材料性能试验和工艺设计多阶段联合优化设计的方法,最终在满足各种力学性能和制造工艺要求的前提下,实现碳纤维复合材料引擎盖的轻量化设计。  相似文献

轻量化复合材料桁架桥是以碳/玻混杂纤维增强复合材料(FRP)与铝合金为原材料的,为武警部队研发、通行重型荷载的应急桥装备。为了验证桥梁的承载性能,对30 m跨轻量化复合材料桁架桥进行了静载与动载试验。结果表明:轻量化后的应急桥在静动载作用下,结构处于线弹性状态,杆件应力与桥梁变形均小于设计允许值,桥梁性能良好,达到了工程应用的设计要求。  相似文献

简述了轨道交通领域碳纤维复合材料应用现状,从结构材料设计、整体结构设计、车体成型技术、构件连接技术、结构声学设计、缺陷检测技术等多个方面探讨复合材料整车车体研发的技术难点。在碳纤维复合材料车体研发的过程中,只有充分理解和实现复合材料的材料、设计、制造一体化,全面综合地考虑各种关键技术,才能获得高性能的碳纤维复合材料车体,并有效降低复合材料车体的成本;只有建立完整的复合材料车体设计、制造、验证技术规范和质量评价体系,碳纤维复合材料才能在轨道交通行业中得到推广应用。  相似文献

本文分析和总结了采用纤维增强聚合物复合材料(FRP)实现结构轻量化的主要方法及技术。指出了实现结构轻量化的三个主要方法,一是复合材料的高性能化,即通过进一步提高复合材料的比强度和比模量实现结构减重;二是复合材料高效承载结构构型优化设计,即通过复合材料优势承载能力与结构传力路径的优化配置实现结构减重;三是复合材料复杂结构整体成型,即通过摒弃连接赘重实现结构减重。并给出了实现上述三种结构轻量化方法的技术途径。  相似文献

Abstract

This paper summarises work undertaken on the design, manufacturing development, and impact testing of a lightweight composite aircrew helmet. Full details are given on the double diaphragm forming process, developed at DERA, which has been extensively used to manufacture the complex, doubly curved layers that form the final helmet assembly. Manufacturing options for the development of a ‘form fitting’ foam liner are also included, as are developments in the foam liner press moulding processes.

Results from an extensive impact test programme conducted on fully assembled shell samples are provided, illustrating good energy management during test. Some redundant material was apparent from the results, hence further mass reduction is possible. Modification of the layer deformation sequence is also required. However the sandwich shells met all impact test requirements. Correlation of the impact test data and helmet damage cross- sections has allowed recommendations to be made regarding improved design and manufacture of the layered construction. Predictions based on these improvements show the final helmet mass should be ~750 g, excluding breathing systems and communications.  相似文献

Accelerating the curing of epoxy/aromatic amine adhesives and improving their toughness are challenges in heat-resistant epoxy structural adhesives. Herein, we report an epoxy/aromatic amine adhesive accelerated curing system with an oxo-centered trinuclear (chromium III) complex, which is toughened using a thermoplastic block copolymer (TPBC). The reaction characteristics, heat resistance, microstructure, and bonding properties of the accelerated epoxy adhesives were analyzed. The reaction peak temperature of the epoxy with 3% catalyst was 113.1°C, which was 113.6°C lower than that of epoxy without catalyst, and the modified epoxy resin demonstrated a potential for rapid curing at medium temperature. The glass transition temperature of the TPBC-toughened epoxy adhesive was 125°C after curing, indicating excellent thermal stability after medium temperature curing. The introduction of the TPBC increased the single-lap shear strength of the epoxy adhesive without reducing its heat resistance. The shear strength at room temperature and 120°C of the modified epoxy adhesive with 50 phr of TPBC was 25.2 and 10.9 MPa, respectively. Moreover, the epoxy film adhesive exhibited outstanding bonding properties when used in the bonding of lightweight honeycomb sandwich structures.  相似文献

Abstract

The aim is to study methods to improve the fire properties of carbon fibre reinforced epoxy composites with interlayers without compromising structural performance, i.e. using a carbon fibre veil with expandable graphite, an intrinsically flame retardant thermoplastic film or a carbon fibre reinforced thermoplastic (CFTP) layer. The CFTP layer seems the most promising, with a significant improvement in fire properties as determined with cone calorimetry, while the mechanical performance of the modified composite appears unaffected.  相似文献

While adhesive bonding has been shown to be a beneficial technique to join multi-material automotive bodies-in-white, quantitatively assessing the effect of adherend response on the ultimate strength of adhesively bonded joints is necessary for accurate joint design.In the current study, thin adherend single lap shear testing was carried out using three sheet metals used to replace mild steel when lightweighting automotive structures: hot stamped Usibor® 1500 AS ultra-high strength steel (UHSS), aluminum (AA5182), and magnesium (ZEK 100). Six combinations of single and multi-material samples were bonded with a one-part toughed structural epoxy adhesive and experimentally tested to measure the force, displacement across the bond line, and joint rotation during loading. Finite element models of each test were analyzed using LS-DYNA to quantitatively assess the effects of the mode mixity on ultimate joint failure. The adherends were modeled with shell elements and a cohesive zone model was implemented using bulk material properties for the adhesive to allow full three-dimensional analysis of the test, while still being computationally efficient.The UHSS-UHSS joint strength (27.2 MPa; SD 0.6 MPa) was significantly higher than all other material combinations, with joint strengths between 17.9 MPa (SD 0.9 MPa) and 23.9 MPa (SD 1.4 MPa). The models predicted the test response (average R2 of 0.86) including the bending deformation of the adherends, which led to mixed mode loading of the adhesive. The critical cohesive element in the UHSS-UHSS simulation predicted 85% Mode II loading at failure while the other material combinations predicted between 41% and 53% Mode II loading at failure, explaining the higher failure strength in the UHSS-UHSS joint.This study presents a computational method to predict adhesive joint response and failure in multi-material structures, and highlights the importance of the adherend bending stiffness and on joint rotation and ultimate joint strength.  相似文献
