Based on the monthly average sea level data from the tide gauge measurement (1999-2001), the seasonal variability of the sea level in the Northern and Middle Yellow Sea is studied to reveal that the sea surface height at all the tide gauges becomes higher in summer than that in winter. In addition, the sea surface height of the Northern Yellow Sea is higher than the one of the Middle Yellow Sea with a slope downward from the north to the south in summer, while it is lower with a reversed slope in winter. The seasonal reverse of the sea surface slope can be attributed to the monsoon effects i.e. the annual reverse of the monsoon direction and the annual variation of the monsoon rainfall. A set of equations are established in light of the dynamic principles to expound how the monsoon forcing and the sea surface slope generate a summer outflow and a winter inflow in the Yellow Sea.  相似文献

A multizone/multiblock coupled RANS equation solver is presented to numerically simulate the viscous flow around an appended submarine model at Reynolds number 1. E7. k-ε two equation turbulenc model together with wall function are used. The resulting finite difference equations are solved by SIMPLEC, ADI. The technique of rising up the bottom surface is presented to overcome radial contraction problem in Cartesian coordinate system. A set of equations was derived for a nonBoussinesq ocean model in this paper. A new time-splitting scheme was introduced which incorporates the 4th-order Runge-Kutta explicit scheme of low-frequency mode and an implicit scheme of high-frequency mode. With this model, potential temperature, salinity fields and sea surface height were calculated simultaneously such that the numerical error of extrapolation of density field from the current time level to the next one could be reduced while using the equation of mass conservation to determine sea surface height. The non-Boussinesq effect on the density field and sea surface height was estimated by numerical experiments in the final part of this paper.  相似文献

Through the study of the theory of oil spill model, a mathematical modeling of oil spill on the sea is developed which with the consideration of spread, diffusion, drifting and attenuation of oil slick is influenced by evaporation and emulsification factors. A model that under the effect of ocean dynamic condition of tide, wind and wave, using Monte Carlo method to simulate the movement of oil slick is established. The modeling is applied to calculate and predict pollution range of oil spill at oil quay and oil ship in Daya Bay. The prediction results have basically shown the pollution situation by emergency of oil spill on the sea.  相似文献

By using a pressure-based method and the finite volume method in the framework of the time dependent Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations, the authors studied the unsteady process of ventilated cavities generated forcing air through an orifice in a 2D hydrofoil without natural cavitation physically. The computation was carried out with the Volume Of Fluid (VOF) technique to track the gas-liquid two-phase interface. The results of simulation indicate that the ventilation rate is an important parameter in determining the morphology of cavity. There exists a critical value to convert sheet cavity into supereavity. A high ventilation rate can induce a two phase interface fluctuation and enable the ventilated eavitating flow to present a characteristic of periodicity.  相似文献

The effects of the Electrical Double Layer (EDL) on the liquid mean flow and the flow stability in microchannels are investigated by solving the Poisson-Boltzmann equation. The models of the traditional streaming Electrical Current Balance (ECB) and the newly introduced streaming Electrical Current Density Balance (ECDB) are applied to determine the electrical streaming current. The numerical results show that the electrical streaming current backflow in the ECB model near the wall can be removed by using the ECDB model, which is suitable to study the effects of the EDL on the mean flow and the flow stability in microchannels. The flow is found more unstable if the ECDB model is applied.  相似文献

Based on Tian et al. 's theoretical model of microwave scattering, by using the wind wave spectrum suggested by Fung et al. , numerical results of polarized back-scattering were calculated. The quantitative relationships between the calculated backscattering cross section and the environmental parameters, such as wind speeds, azimuthal angles and incidence angles, were studied. Compared with the traditional two-scale scattering model, the results are much more coincident with the observations under the condition of moderate incidence angles, which is very useful to make up for the two-scale model. This paper will introduce experimental studies and numerical calculation onturbulent boundary layer of water flow along curved surface in our country in recent years.Onthe basis of the experimental studies,the effects of curvature and roughness on velocitydistribution and pressure distribution and the change of turbulent flow boundary layer onoverflow bucket concave surface is discussed.We proposed the empirical formula of velocity,pressure and the change of turbulent flow boundary layer on outlet bucket concave.According tothe momentum principle,we have deduced the momentum integral equation full water depthboundary layer and using the element as control unit inside the boundary layer on concavesurface of bucket.Combining with continuity equation,we have computed the boundary layerdevelopment on the bucket of a spillway.Compared with the field experimental data,thecalculation results are available.Under polar coordinates,a mathematical model for simulatingtime-averaged flow characteristics in concave surface of bucket is established.The turbulent flowfield on concave surface of bucket is calculated by SIMPLE method and this mathematicalmodel.The flow velocity field,pressure field,distribution of turbulent kinetic energy,distribution of turbulent energy dissipating rate and distribution of shear stress are available.Thecalculation value is consistent with measured test data.  相似文献

The near-wake flow of a NACA0012 airfoils mounted above a water surface were experimentally studied in a wind/wave tunnel. The main objective of this study is to investigate the influence of the free surface on the structure of the airfoil trailing wake. The flow structure was measured with different ride heights between the airfoil and free surface using a Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) system. The Reynolds number based on the chord length of the airfoil was about 3.5×103. For each experimental condition, large amount of instantaneous velocity fields were captured and ensemble-averaged to get the spatial distributions of mean velocity and mean vorticity, as well as turbulence statistics. The results show that the flow structures of the airfoil wake varies remarkably with the change in the ride height.  相似文献

Based on the COHERENS (a Coupled Hydrodynamical Ecological model for Regional Shelf seas), a three-dimensional baroclinic model for the summer of East China Sea (ECS) was established with the sigma-coordinate in the vertical direction and spherical coordinate in the horizontal direction. The circulation patterns of the Kuroshio Current, the Taiwan Warm Current (TWC), the Tsushima Current and the Yangtze Diluted Water (YDW) were successfully simulated with this model. The calculated results are fairly consistent with previous observations and studies. Based on this baroclinic current field, the Lagranian particles tracking was simulated to estimate the possible origins of the red tides frequently occurring in the Yangtze River estuary and its adjacent sea areas. If there are “seeds” (cysts) of the red tide algae at the seabed of the Taiwan Strait, the offshore of Fujian and Zhejiang Provinces and the northeast Taiwan Island, those are extremely possible sources of the red tides in the Yangtze River estuary and its adjacent sea areas. Field data are needed to confirm it. Numerical simulation to estimate the source of the red tides is a new application of the Lagrangian transport in the marine ecology.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a mathematical model for two-dimensional strong turbulence flow with free surface including the effects of streamline curvature in orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system, with which the characteristics of the turbulence flow field on the ogee spillway was numerical simulated. In the numerical simulation, the flow control equations in orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system were discretized by the finite volume method, the physical parameters( P, U,V,K,ε,γt , etc. ) were arranged on a staggered grid, the discretized equations were solved with the SIMPLEC method, and the complex free surface was dealt with VOF method. The computed results show that the velocity fields, pressure field, shear stress distribution and kinetic energy of turbulent flow on the ogee spillway are in agreement with experimental data. This confirms that the model can be used for numerieal simulation of the turbulence flow on ogee spillway.  相似文献

The flow in funnel chamber is typical three-di-mensional flow. The experimental results of clear water flowfield and muddy water flow field show that the flow character-istics in the funnel chamber are favorable to the separation ofwater and sand. Tangential velocity sustains the vortexstrength of the funnel chamber, axial velocity is benefit to thesediment sinking, and radial velocity is benefit to sedimentmoving to desilting hole. So the sand funnel is successful insediment disposal. The sand funnel projection has also gooddesilting effectiveness in practice. Its average flushing dis-charge is 3% of inlet canal discharge, the sand disposal rate is100% for the sand with grain diameter of more than 0. 5mm,and is more than 90% for the sand with grain diameter of lessthan 0. 5mm.  相似文献
