面向e-制造的工艺规划与工序分配集成技术研究

为满足e—制造技术对工艺规划和工序分配的新需求,在制造设备e—化的基础上,提出了一种面向e—制造的动态工艺规划与工序分配的集成方法和Capplet集成模型。该集成模型通过Java解决方案和动态Web页面两种方式实现。在基于遗传算法的工序分配与工艺规划的并行交互机制下,基于甘特图的协同工序分配方法为动态工序分配提供了一种新的解决途径。Capplet集成模型与e—制造实时加工调度的无缝集成,为e—制造的生产准备奠定了基础。     

基于XML的网络化制造信息转换和传输技术研究

针对网络化制造存在的异构信息交互的问题,建立一种网络化的信息转换和传输模式。该模式实现企业数据库和标准的XML文档之间的相互转换,通过XML的加密技术、数字签名和SOAP传输协议实现信息传输;并研究该模式的相关实现技术。最后,分析制造信息传输过程中的安全问题。

Manufacture of an injection mould with rapid and uniform cooling characteristics for the fan parts using a DMT process

The aims of the present study is to manufacture an injection mould with a pair of conformal cooling channels in each blade of the mould for a plastic fan part via laser-aided direct metal tooling (DMT) process to achieve both rapid and uniform cooling characteristics. The features of the design and the manufacturing process for the injection mould as well as the characteristics of the manufactured mould were discussed. Three-dimensional injection moulding analyses were performed to obtain a proper design of the conformal cooling channels. Injection moulding experiments were carried out to investigate the practical applicability of the fabricated mould and the influence of the cooling time on the qualities of the moulded product. The results of the experiments showed that a plastic fan part with superior qualities can be fabricated from the designed mould when the cooling time is 13 s. The efficiency of the designed mould was examined through a comparison of the product from the newly designed mould and that from a previously designed mould with linear cooling channels in terms of product qualities as well as the cooling and cycle times. The results of the comparison showed that the newly designed mould can remarkably reduce the positional error distributions and the eccentricity of the moulded product. In addition, it was shown that the cooling and cycle times of the designed mould can be shortened to 35.0 % and 25.7 % of those of the previously designed mould, respectively.

Low-noise boron supports for high resolution electron microscopy

Very thin (～1.5 nm) amorphous boron films are useful as specimen supports for the study of biochemical molecules by dark-field transmission electron microscopy. The noise factor is significantly smaller than for carbon films, probably because of the tendency to bond in icosahedral B₁₂ subunits. Signal-to-noise ratio of about 2 to 3 have been obtained with bromine and strontium atoms in test molecules.     

Design principles for elastic elements of vibrational supports

A three-dimensional system performing oscillations according to the conical-pendulum law is considered. A means of calculating elastic elements that will ensure stable oscillations of the system is proposed.

The authors discuss the criteria for sliding support efficiency and the influence of the structure of structural and lubricating materials on corresponding parameters. The application of active lubricants proved to be able to increase the load capacity as one of the parameters of efficiency.     

Frequency solutions for circular plates with internal supports and discontinuous boundaries

The paper presents a study of the free-flexural vibration analysis of circular plates continuous over point supports, partial internal curved supports, and with mixed-edge boundary conditions. An approximate model which combines the advantages of the Rayleigh-Ritz and the Lagrangian multiplier methods is developed for analyzing this class of circular plate problems. The Rayleigh-Ritz method is used to formulate plates with classical boundary conditions, such as free, simply-supported or clamped, while the Lagrangian multiplier method is used to handle plates with point supports, partial internal curved supports and mixed-edge boundary conditions. The admissible pb-2 Ritz function consists of the product of a two-dimensional polynomial and a basic function. The basic function is defined by the product of the equations of the prescribed piecewise-continuous boundary shape each raised to the power of 0, 1 or 2, corresponding to free, simply-supported or clamped edge, respectively. The set of functions automatically satisfies all the kinematic boundary conditions of the plate at the outset. The geometric boundary conditions associated with the internal supports and discontinuous edges are simulated using a sufficient number of closely-spaced point constraints. Numerical results for several selected plate problems are presented to demonstrate the various features and accuracy of the present method.

Software for dendrochronological measurements

The tree-ring measurement tool (TREMET) program has been developed for measuring the width of tree growth rings by images with any resolution recorded by capture devices (flatbed scanners, digital cameras, etc.). The program can be used to obtain dendrochronological information from various samples (cores, saw cuts), particularly from difficult-to-treat samples. The TREMET program has been used to create a 676-year tree-ring chronology from juniper samples, including relic plants gathered on the Cola Peninsula. This program is the longest juniper chronology in the northwest region of Russia. Using the TREMET program, the longest tree-ring chronologies have been obtained for pine of the Khibiny Mountains (448 years) and the Cola Peninsula (561 years).     

Software sensors for bioprocesses

State estimation is a significant problem in biotechnological processes, due to the general lack of hardware sensor measurements of the variables describing the process dynamics. The objective of this paper is to review a number of software sensor design methods, including extended Kalman filters, receding-horizon observers, asymptotic observers, and hybrid observers, which can be efficiently applied to bioprocesses. These several methods are illustrated with simulation and real-life case studies.
