Based on the 3-PRS parallel mechanism, a new drill point grinder is presented in this paper. The relationship between the drill point geometry parameters and the grinding kinematic parameters are described for the most commonly used conical twist drill, and the grinding kinematic equation is also derived accordingly. The virtual prototype modeling and the kinematic simulation using MSC/ADAMS are then carried out for the proposed parallel drill point grinder. The related kinematic analysis, such as the displacement and velocity analysis of the drill point and grinding wheel, the rotation angle analysis of the ball joints with respect to the initial position, etc., is obtained. From the simulation results, we can see that the proposed structure is capable of implementing the function of drill point grinding. The virtual prototype simulation can help in the parametric design and the structural design for the new grinder. 相似文献

The carbide drill is an important hole-machining tool. Modern processing solutions set higher requirements for the accuracy and efficiency of carbide drill manufacturing. This paper presents a detailed study of mathematical models of the spiral groove, conical flank, and cutter clearance and proposes three practical and reliable grinding methods using only one standard straight wheel. The spiral groove is ground by controlling three crucial structure parameters: the spiral angle, core diameter, and rake angle. The conical flank is ground by controlling the relief angle, chisel edge angle, and apex angle. The cutter clearance is ground by controlling the ridge width and clearance depth. With these schemes, the wheel position parameters can be computed conveniently and quickly using computer programming, overcoming the low calculation accuracy of empirical formulae and thereby enhancing the efficiency. Using the wheel position parameters, the NC codes applicable to five-axis CNC grinders can be obtained. Furthermore, the reliability of the proposed grinding methods can be verified through CAD simulation and practical manufacture on a five-axis CNC grinder. 相似文献

路锥收放机器人是全自动交通路锥收放车上的一个重要机构,负责按照一定的规律把路锥从车上放下,还可以自动将路锥从地面收起,放到车上指定位置.按照设计指标对收放机器人进行了参数设计,讨论了该机器人的运动学问题,然后在MATLAB环境下,用RoboticsToolbox对该机器人的轨迹规划进行了仿真,通过仿真,观察到机器人各个关节的运动,并得到了所需的数据,仿真结果表明所设计的参数是正确的,能够达到预定的目标. 相似文献

To meet the quality and flexibility requirements of a hole-making process and to overcome the limitations of traditional manual grinding and cam-type automatic grinding in new drill point geometry development, a three degrees of freedom (3-DOF) parallel-mechanism-based drill point grinder is proposed in this paper. With the consideration of different inclination angle configurations of the grinder guideway, the inverse kinematics and the workspace analysis of the parallel grinder are developed; the relationship between the workspace and the structural parameters of the grinder, such as installation pattern, radius of joint distribution circle, length of the links etc. is discussed in detail. A numerical–symbolic method and a net search method are employed in the singularity analysis. The analysis of the kinematics, workspace and singularity provides the basis for understanding the characteristics of the new parallel grinder and also helps in the structural design of the proposed grinder. 相似文献
