In a deregulated/reformed environment, the electric utilities are under constant pressure for reducing operating costs, enhancing the reliability of transmission and distribution equipments, and improving quality of power and services to the customer. Moreover, the risk involved in running the system without proper attention to assets integrity in service is quite high. Additionally, the probability of losing any equipment vital to the transmission and distribution system, such as power and distribution transformers, is increasing especially with the aging of power system's assets. Today the focus of operating the power system is changed and efforts are being directed to explore new approaches/techniques of monitoring, diagnosis, condition evaluation, maintenance, life assessment, and possibility of extending the life of existing assets. In this paper, a comprehensive illustration of the transformer asset management activities is presented. The importance of each activity together with the latest researches done in the area is highlighted.  相似文献

In this paper, two algorithms are proposed for the computation of the static generation reliability of a power system. The loss-of-load probability (LOLP), which is the reliability index usually employed in static generation reliability evaluation, is computed by using both the capacity outage table and effective load approaches. Numerical results obtained from the study of a sample power system consisting of 44 generating units are compared in terms of the required computational time and numerical accuracy. It is found that, with the generating capacities properly rounded off, the capacity outage table method can be employed as an effective means of computing power system reliability. The effect of generation expansion planning on generation reliability is also examined.  相似文献

规范电网实物资产管理,保持实物资产健康完整,优化实物资产配置,动态监控实物资产分布及运行状况,预测运维及技改投资规模是电网企业面临的重要课题。基于电网实物资产管理特点,结合资产全寿命周期管理理论与资产墙模型,针对资产管理策略中核心的资产评价问题,从规模结构分析、健康水平分析、利用效率分析、报废退役分析这4个维度构建电网实物资产评价指标体系。该研究结果可为持续深化资产全寿命管理,预测运维技改风险及实现电网经济、可靠运行提供参考。  相似文献

Electric utilities are experiencing a rapid growth of distributed energy resource (DER) deployment in their distribution grids. DERs can result in operational challenges in distribution grids, while at the same time can be viable assets in helping electric utilities better plan and manage grid design, operation, and planning. The DER valuation becomes an extremely important factor in this situation to ensure that DERs are fairly and accurately valued for the services they provide. This paper investigates the idea of spatiotemporal valuation of DERs and develops a sensitivity-based locational marginal value (LMV) calculation method that can be solved without the need for solving the network power flow problem. Furthermore, the impact of cost allocation to various upgrades in the system on LMV calculation is investigated, with the goal of demonstrating the fairness of the proposed LMV calculation method. The proposed model is applied to a standard test system for evaluation and validation.  相似文献

Asset management is an important activity in present day distribution system planning and operation. Utilities are constantly striving to optimize the use of resources available for maintenance while ensuring system reliability is within satisfactory limits. This paper proposes a method to allocate maintenance resources to various distribution system assets. To determine the effects of maintenance, a predictive reliability assessment tool is developed. This paper describes the model on which this tool is based. The results obtained from reliability assessment can be used along with an optimizer to allocate resources to various maintenance tasks in a distribution system.  相似文献

A power system is configured from generating plants, substations, consumers and the transmission lines that tie them together. To perform inspection, maintenance and expansion of these facilities, regular and systematic outage of this system must be conducted. Moreover, the organization that manages this power system is a hierarchy that comprises various levels. To prepare a comprehensive schedule from the various outage requests submitted by the many sections, it is necessary for the engineer to investigate thousands of outage requests based on reliability of the power system, economical supply of power, and personnel safety. This paper presents a computerized support system that has been developed to support a coordinating engineer in power system outage scheduling. The user interface expressed as fuzzy expressions “Fuzzy User Interface” that comprises an operator model of the coordinating engineer based on analysis of such work performed at a dispatching center is discussed.  相似文献

阐述了供电企业建设配电网络可视化管理系统的必要性,介绍了某供电局基于Microsoft Office Visio和SQL Server等软件技术的配电网络可视化管理系统的设计方案,其硬件由服务器、绘图客户端、查图客户端等组成,软件采用客户-服务器体系结构,在规范化的馈线可视化管理平台上建立配电网运行与检修管理、操作票和工作票管理、资产管理、调度管理、电力通信管理等专业应用系统,指出在系统建设过程中,统一规划、分步实施、功能实用、数据准确与完整是关键.该系统在某供电局配营部实施,提高了工作效率,实现了配电网的规范化管理.  相似文献

Integrated resource planning (IRP) for electric utilities involves management planning of supply as well as demand at the same time. In this paper, we develop a mixed integer linear programming model for IRP. The two key distinctions of this model are the incorporation of the forced outage cost and the inclusion of power deficit/surplus. The forced outage cost will more accurately reflect the true cost to a utility, and the power deficit/surplus features will more accurately represent the existence of power deficit/surplus in utilities nowadays. 为了在制定变压器预防性检修周期时考虑变压器自身可靠性的变化,提出了一种优化可靠性与经济性的变压器检修决策方法。利用二参数威布尔分布描述变压器的故障率及可靠度变化规律,通过役龄回退因子建立考虑预防性检修的故障率函数和可靠度函数,以变压器平均剩余无故障工作时间为检修计划期,以检修计划期内的预防性检修费用、故障检修费用和停电损失之和最小为目标函数,建立了变压器检修周期优化模型。通过对变压器内部部件故障模式的定性定量分析,计算变压器部件检修优先度,确定变压器部件检修方式。算例分析验证了该方法的可行性。  相似文献

The need to manage assets effectively is one of the hottest topics currently occupying UK regulator Ofgem and the utilities. As ever, the core question is how to strike the right balance between the reliability and quality of supply, and the cost of capital and revenue expenditure. The principle of a move from asset management based on age to asset management based on condition is already widely accepted. In addition, industry players are increasingly accepting that risk as a function of probability and consequences of asset failure must be factored into asset management regimes. One approach, condition-based risk management process (CBRM), has been developed to help electricity companies manage their ageing assets in an environment of ever more demanding regulation.  相似文献

The Working Group on Statistics of Line Outages was formed in 1981 to develop, implement and summarize the results of a survey of design characteristics with overhead transmission at voltages of 230 kV and above. The survey, distributed in July, 1985, requested the voluntary submission of specific data on overhead lines in service within the period, 1965-1985. The purposes of the effort were twofold: to update earlier surveys (1949 and 1965), and to address a growing need for line outage data to support evolving probabilistic system models for planning and operation. Data were submitted by utilities from all nine NERC/USA reliability regions and by the Canadian Electric Association representing all of Canada. The outage data were pooled and analyzed to produce average statistics which are summarized in this paper  相似文献

不同国家在发电机组的可靠性指标及统计数据分析方面存在一定的差异,这对发电机组可靠性技术交流造成障碍。基于此,首先从中、美两国发电机组可靠性术语定义和指标计算公式两方面比较两国发电机组的可靠性评价方法;再从运行系数、等效可用系数、等效强迫停运率以及非计划停运次数等方面对两国各类型机组在2006-2010年的可靠性指标数据进行对比,分析两国发电机组可靠性管理和统计数据存在差异的根本原因。通过差异原因分析,促进我国电源侧规划建设和电网运行管理水平。  相似文献
