光组播路由代价与波长使用量的联合优化方法   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
为解决光组播路由中组播中路由代价和波长资源消耗单一化造成的组播路树路由的代价过高问题,在分光节点约束条件下,提出了光组播路由代价与波长使用量联合优化的长路优先(LPF)方法和短路优先(SPF)方法。算法通过检查最小光组播树是否存在节点分光约束的问题,根据设置的波长使用代价控制因子,使LPF或SPF的路由代价和波长使用量最小。LPF方法首先选择组播树最长路径或新波长通道重路由受分光约束的目的节点,SPF方法先选择组播树中最短路径或新波长通道重路由受分光约束的目的节点,仿真结果表明,本文提出的两种联合优化方法都能实现路由代价较低和波长需求较少的目的。  相似文献

In this article we study the multicast routing problem in all-optical WDM networks under the spare light splitting constraint. To implement a multicast session, several light-trees may have to be used due to the limited fanouts of network nodes. Although many multicast routing algorithms have been proposed in order to reduce the total number of wavelength channels used (total cost) for a multicast session, the maximum number of wavelengths required in one fiber link (link stress) and the end-to-end delay are two parameters which are not always taken into consideration. It is known that the shortest path tree (SPT) results in the optimal end-to-end delay, but it can not be employed directly for multicast routing in sparse light splitting WDM networks. Hence, we propose a novel wavelength routing algorithm which tries to avoid the multicast incapable branching nodes (MIBs, branching nodes without splitting capability) in the shortest-path-based multicast tree to diminish the link stress. Good parts of the shortest-path-tree are retained by the algorithm to reduce the end-to-end delay. The algorithm consists of tree steps: (1) a DijkstraPro algorithm with priority assignment and node adoption is introduced to produce a SPT with up to 38% fewer MIB nodes in the NSF topology and 46% fewer MIB nodes in the USA Longhaul topology, (2) critical articulation and deepest branch heuristics are used to process the MIB nodes, (3) a distance-based light-tree reconnection algorithm is proposed to create the multicast light-trees. Extensive simulations demonstrate the algorithm’s efficiency in terms of link stress and end-to-end delay.  相似文献

低代价最短路径树是一种广泛使用的多播树,它能够在保证传送时延最小的同时尽量降低带宽消耗。DDSP(Destination-Driven Shortest Path)算法是一个性能较好,计算效率较高的低代价最短路径树算法,在该算法基础上,通过改进结点的搜索过程,提出一种改进的快速低代价最短路径树算法。由算法分析和实验比较得出,改进算法的计算效率高于DDSP算法,且算法构造的最短路径树的性能也优于DDSP算法构造的树.  相似文献

There are two steps to establish a multicast connection in WDM networks: routing and wavelength assignment. The shortest path tree (SPT) and minimum spanning tree (MST) are the two widely used multicast routing methods. The SPT method minimizes the delay from the source to every destination along a routing tree, and the MST method is often used to minimize the network cost of the tree. Load balancing is an important objective in multicast routing, which minimizes the maximal link load in the system. The objective of wavelength assignment is to minimize the number of wavelengths used in the system. This paper analyzes the performance of the shortest path tree (SPT) and minimum spanning tree (MST) methods in the tree of ring networks, regarding the performance criteria such as the delay and network cost of the generated routing trees, load balancing, and the number of wavelengths required in the system. We prove that SPT and MST methods can not only produce routing trees with low network costs and short delays, but also have good competitive ratios for the load balancing problem (LBP) and wavelength assignment problem (WAP), respectively  相似文献

In this paper, we study the minimum-cost quality-of-service multicast and unicast routing problems in communication networks. For the multicast problem, we present an efficient approximation algorithm to find a balance between a minimum-cost multicast tree and a minimum-delay multicast tree, with a provably good performance under the condition that link delay and link cost are identical. For the unicast problem, we present an efficient primal-dual heuristic algorithm to find a path which balances path cost and path delay, together with an error bound. The lack of a provably good performance for the second algorithm is complemented by computational results on randomly generated networks. Our algorithm finds optimal solutions in more than 80% of the cases and finds close to optimal solutions in all other cases, while using much less time.  相似文献

The advances in wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) technology are expected to facilitate bandwidth-intensive multicast applications through light splitting. Due to complexity and cost constraints, light splitting (or optical multicast) nodes are sparsely configured in a practical WDM network. In this article, we investigate the multicast routing problem under the sparse light-splitting constraint. An efficient sparse splitting constrained multicast routing algorithm called Multicast Capable Node First Heuristic (MCNFH) is proposed. The key idea of MCNFH is to include the shortest path, that includes most of the multicast capable nodes, for configuring the multicast tree. Simulations and comparisons are used to demonstrate the performance of MCNFH. Simulation results and analysis show that MCNFH builds multicast trees with the least wavelength channel cost and with the smallest number of wavelengths used per link. In addition, MCNFH requires only one transmitter at the source node.  相似文献

为了解决低轨卫星IP网络中现有特定源组播算法的信道资源浪费问题,本文提出了一套新的特定源组播算法,即基于核心群的特定源组播算法(CSSM)和加权的CSSM算法(w-CSSM).CSSM算法以源节点作为初始核心群,通过核心群和剩余组成员的最短路径方法逐步扩展直至整棵组播树构建完成,所得的树代价最小,从而大大提高了网络的带宽利用率和传输效率.在w-CSSM算法中,加权因子可以自适应调整以适度增大树代价、降低端到端传播时延,以支持某些有严格端到端时延要求的实时组播业务.通过与低轨卫星IP网络中典型特定源组播算法MRA的仿真比较,可以看出CSSM和w-CSSM算法的树代价性能比MRA有较大改善,不过端到端传播时延略高.  相似文献

为了解决低轨卫星IP网络中现有典型源组播算法的信道资源浪费问题,该文提出了一种低树代价的组播算法,即核心群合并共享树(CCST)算法,包括动态近似中心(DAC)选核方法和核心群合并组播路径构建方法。DAC方法基于逻辑位置形成的虚拟静态、结构规则的网络拓扑选择核节点。在核心群合并方法中,以核节点作为初始核心群,通过核心群和剩余组成员的最短路径方法逐步扩展直至整棵组播树构建完成,从而使得组播树的树代价最小,大大提高了网络的传输带宽利用率和组播传输效率。最后,与低轨卫星IP网络中的其他几种典型算法进行了性能对比,仿真结果说明,CCST算法的树代价性能比其它算法有较大改善,而端到端传播时延略高。  相似文献

本文探讨了在高速包交换计算机网络中,具有端到端时延及时延抖动限制的组播路由问题。首先给出了此类问题的网络模型及其数学描述,然后提出了基于Hopfield神经网络的组播路由优化算法。实验表明,本算法能根据组播应用对时延的要求,快速、有效地构造最优组播树,有较强的实时性。  相似文献

Multicast routing is to find a tree which is rooted from a source node and contains all multicast destinations. There are two requirements of multicast routing in many multimedia applications: optimal network cost and bounded delay. The network cost of a tree is defined as the sum of the cost of all links in the tree. The bounded delay of a routing tree refers to the feature that the accumulated delay from the source to any destination along the tree shall not exceed a prespecified bound. This paper presents a distributed heuristic algorithm which generates routing trees having a suboptimal network cost under the delay bound constraint. The proposed algorithm is fully distributed, efficient in terms of the number of messages and convergence time, and flexible in dynamic membership changes. A large amount of simulations have been done to show the network cost of the routing trees generated by our algorithm is similar to, or even better than, other existing algorithms  相似文献

With the spread of multimedia group applications, the construction of multicast trees satisfying the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements becomes a problem of prime importance. A principal factor of these real‐time applications is to optimize the delay‐ and delay variation‐bounded multicast tree (DVBMT) problem. This problem is to satisfy the minimum delay variation and the end‐to‐end delay within an upper bound. The DVBMT problem is known as an NP‐complete problem. The representative algorithms are the DVMA, the DDVCA, and the ECS algorithm. In this paper, we show that the proposed ESC algorithm outperforms the DDVCA and the ECS algorithm. The efficiency of our algorithm is verified through performance evaluation and the enhancement is up to about 19.6% in terms of normalized surcharge for multicast delay variation. The time complexity of our algorithm is O(mn2), which is comparable to the well‐known DDVCA. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Multicast communication constrained by end‐to‐end and interdestination delay variation is known as delay and delay variation–bounded multicast. These constraints are salient for real‐time multicast communications. In this paper, we propose a directional core selection algorithm for core selection and delay variation–bounded multicast tree generation. Another algorithm, based on k‐shortest paths, is proposed to further decrease the interdestination delay variation of the trees generated by directional core selection. We also propose the dynamic version of both algorithms that respond to dynamic join and leave requests to the ongoing multicast session by reorganizing the tree and avoiding session disruption. Simulations show that the proposed algorithms surpass existing algorithms in end‐to‐end delay, interdestination delay variation, execution time, and failure probability.  相似文献

提出了一种基于拉格朗日松弛方法的时延约束最小代价多播路由算法(LR-DLMA)。该算法充分利用拉格朗日松弛方法的特点,通过构建封闭图,对封闭图进行拉格朗日松弛求得满足条件的多播树。仿真实验结果表明本算法性能稳定,其代价性能接近性能最好的BSMA算法,并具有快速、低时延的特点。  相似文献

针对现有的求解多约束QoS组播路由中存在的问题,结合BP神经网络局部搜索的优势和蚁群算法全局搜索的优势的特点,进行QoS组播路由算法的设计,提出了一种新型的NNAC算法。该算法通过BP神经网络寻找路径的更优解,改善了QoS组播路由路径寻找的方法。通过实验仿真表明,NNAC算法得到最优组播树的总延时为35,总代价费用为21,在完成150个度约束组播路由路径时,NNAC算法在进行最优组播树的寻找成功率上高于AC算法,同时该算法还克服了AC算法易陷入局部最小点的不足。  相似文献

We consider the problem of precomputing constrained widest paths and multicast trees in a communication network. Precomputing and storing of the relevant information minimizes the computational overhead required to determine an optimal path when a new connection request arrives. We evaluate algorithms that precompute paths with maximal bandwidth (widest paths), which in addition satisfy given end-to-end delay constraints. We analyze and compare both the worst case and average case performance of the algorithms. We also show how the precomputed paths can be used to provide computationally efficient solutions to the constrained widest multicast tree problem. In this problem, a multicast tree with maximal bandwidth (widest multicast tree) is sought, which in addition satisfies given end-to-end delay constraints for each path on the tree from the source to a multicast destination.  相似文献

A wireless ad hoc network consists of mobile nodes that are powered by batteries. The limited battery lifetime imposes a severe constraint on the network performance, energy conservation in such a network thus is of paramount importance, and energy efficient operations are critical to prolong the lifetime of the network. All-to-all multicasting is one fundamental operation in wireless ad hoc networks, in this paper we focus on the design of energy efficient routing algorithms for this operation. Specifically, we consider the following minimum-energy all-to-all multicasting problem. Given an all-to-all multicast session consisting of a set of terminal nodes in a wireless ad hoc network, where the transmission power of each node is either fixed or adjustable, assume that each terminal node has a message to share with each other, the problem is to build a shared multicast tree spanning all terminal nodes such that the total energy consumption of realizing the all-to-all multicast session by the tree is minimized. We first show that this problem is NP-Complete. We then devise approximation algorithms with guaranteed approximation ratios. We also provide a distributed implementation of the proposed algorithm. We finally conduct experiments by simulations to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly outperforms all the other known algorithms.  相似文献

卫星网络是一种特殊的时变网络,其QoS路由问题比地面网络QoS路由问题更为复杂.本文利用卫星拓扑的可预测性,通过引入业务的中断概率和费用模型来描述链路切换对业务QoS以及网络的影响,并给出时延受限最小费用路由(SDCMCR)算法来解决在卫星链路时延长的情况下寻找满足时延限制条件且受切换影响最小的路径的问题,该算法可兼顾网络业务中断率和业务阻塞率等性能,且计算复杂度低,可适应星上设备处理能力的要求.仿真表明算法在计算复杂性、业务请求被阻塞的概率等方面都优于同类算法.  相似文献

Providing multicast service to mobile hosts in wireless mobile networking environments is difficult due to frequent changes of mobile host location and group membership. If a conventional multicast routing protocol is used in wireless mobile networks, several problems may be experienced since existing multicast routing protocols assume static hosts when they construct the multicast delivery tree. To overcome the problems, several multicast routing protocols for mobile hosts have been proposed. Although the protocols solve several problems inherent in multicast routing proposals for static hosts, they still have problems such as non-optimal delivery path, datagram duplication, overheads resulting from frequent reconstruction of a multicast tree, etc. In this paper, we summarize these problems of multicast routing protocols and propose an efficient multicast routing protocol based on IEFT mobile IP in wireless mobile networks. The proposed protocol introduces a multicast agent, where a mobile host receives a tunneled multicast datagram from a multicast agent located in a network close to it or directly from the multicast router in the current network. While receiving a tunneled multicast datagram from a remote multicast agent, the local multicast agent may start multicast join process, which makes the multicast delivery route optimal. The proposed protocol reduces data delivery path length and decreases the amount of duplicate copies of multicast datagrams. We examined and compared the performance of the proposed protocol and existing protocols by simulation under various environments and we got an improved performance over the existing proposals.  相似文献

New multimedia applications provide guaranteed end‐to‐end quality of service (QoS) and have stringent constraints on delay, delay‐jitter, bandwidth, cost, etc. The main task of QoS routing is to find a route in the network, with sufficient resources to satisfy the constraints. Most multicast routing algorithms are not fast enough for large‐scale networks and where the source node uses global cost information to construct a multicast tree. We propose a fast and simple heuristic algorithm (EPDT) for delay‐constrained routing problem for multicast tree construction. This algorithm uses a greedy strategy based on shortest‐path and minimal spanning trees. It combines the minimum cost and the minimum radius objectives by combining respectively optimal Prim's and Dijkstra's algorithms. It biases routes through destinations. Besides, it uses cost information only from neighbouring nodes as it proceeds, which makes it more practical, from an implementation point of view. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
