A novel UHF RFID tag antenna with broadband characteristic is presented. The structures of T-matching network and double symmetrical radiating patches shorted to the ground plane are employed. The measured half-power bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 12.9% and it covers two major frequency bands. The maximum readable distance of the tag achieved 6.5 m in the RFID bands for North America and Europe. All the results show that the proposed antenna can work not only in air but also on metallic objects in the North America and Europe UHF RFID band.  相似文献

A broadband ultra-high frequency radio frequency identification (UHF RFID) tag patch antenna with a pair of U slots is presented. By embedding a pair of U slots on the patch, a new resonant mode adjacent to the origin mode is excited and a broadband characteristic is achieved. The measured half-power bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 133 MHz and it covers all UHF RFID frequency bands. Measurement results show that the proposed antenna can work on metallic objects of different sizes in both North America and Europe bands.  相似文献

A passive RFID tag antenna in the UHF band using two bent dipoles and a modified double T-matching network is proposed. The antenna was fabricated with a thin copper layer printed on a 50 /spl mu/m-thick PET substrate for low-cost production. The proposed antenna provided a quasi-isotropic radiation pattern and a fairly broad bandwidth S/sub 11/<-10 dB, 8.5%) for conjugate-matching with a commercial tag chip. The efficiency of the antenna was about 90% in the operating frequency band. The measured readable range was between 170 -240 cm for an arbitrary rotation angle of the tag.  相似文献

面向超高频(UHF)通用型射频识别(RFID)读写器天线的应用需求,设计了一款完全覆盖全球UHF(840-960MHz)频段的RFID圆极化读写器天线。天线采用平面缝隙贴片结构,以共面波导(CPW)馈电方式实现宽频带圆极化特性。测试结果表明,天线的阻抗带宽为735-1014MHz(S11<-10dB),相对带宽31.9%,并且在840-960MHz频段内S11<-20dB,3dB轴比带宽为838-1134MHz,相对带宽30.0%,工作频带内有大于3.5dBi的平坦增益。仿真结果与测试结果基本吻合,天线结构精简,易于加工,满足全球UHF RFID读写器天线的应用需求。  相似文献

本文设计了一种新型的抗金属无源UHF射频识别(RFID)印刷标签天线.该天线可以应用在卷烟包装上,仿真和实测数据证明,在915MHz处天线的阻抗为(20+j149)Ω,能和Alien Higgs -2芯片很好的实现共轭匹配.该标签天线的工作带宽为31MHz,通过RFID阅读器实测表明,所设计的标签天线读取距离可达到0.8m.  相似文献

A circularly polarized, broad bandwidth, square-ring patch antenna for radio-frequency identification (RFID) is proposed. The antenna has a dimension of 100 × 100 × 22.9 mm3. By using a Wilkinson power divider and a patch-antenna structure, a measured 3-dB axial-ratio bandwidth of approximately 140 MHz (16.47%), an impedance bandwidth of 136 MHz (15.81%), and a measured peak gain of approximately 6.8 dBic are being achieved. The operating band of the proposed antenna is suitable for China (840–846 MHz), Europe (865–868 MHz) and the United States (902–928 MHz) ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID applications.  相似文献

A slot-coupled dipole antenna is presented for dual-band passive RFID tag application. A structure using a slot-coupled feed is explored to achieve dual-band operation. The proposed antenna shows good impedance and radiation characteristics for both bands of interest. The simulated and measured return loss results are in good agreement. Proposed is an indirect coupling method for designing an RFID tag antenna, which can not only achieve broadband operation, but can also conveniently implement a complex conjugate impedance match between an antenna and an RFID chip. An equivalent circuit model of the proposed coupling method is presented to characterise the performance of the antenna. An example is included to demonstrate the coupling method for an antenna with half-power bandwidth of approximately 16% (840-985 MHz), and which covers the entire UHF RFID frequency band. Estimated and simulated results are shown to be in good agreement with measured ones.  相似文献

In this paper, a compact, lightweight, low-profile dual-band circularly polarized antenna is presented for handheld radio frequency identification (RFID) readers. The proposed antenna consists of two concentric hexagonal rings and a feed network printed on different layers of the dielectric substrate. The antenna configuration exploits a stacked-coupled technique for gain enhancement and single-port feeding for easy manufacturing. The center frequencies of the two resonating bands are 0.92 GHz (UHF) and 2.45 GHz (ISM). The antenna exhibits circular polarization characteristics in both the resonating bands, therefore encountering the losses due to polarization mismatch and increasing the tag detection reliability. A prototype of the proposed RFID antenna is simulated and fabricated, and experimental results are in close agreement. The peak antenna gain is 3.3 dB and 5 dB in the UHF and ISM bands, respectively. The overall size of the RFID antenna is 80 mm?×?80 mm?×?7.76 mm.

A novel and simple antenna, which is designed for active RFID tags at 2.45 GHz, is proposed. The antenna, consisting of a short rectangle dipole and a bent 'T' shape monopole, is suitable for direct integration with electronic components such as batteries without significant antenna performance degeneration. Simulation and measurement results show that the proposed antenna provides good gain, excellent bandwidth and omndirectional radiation pattern.  相似文献

A compact microstrip fed dual polarised multiband monopole antenna for IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax communication based applications is presented. The antenna is circularly polarised in IEEE 802.11 b/g bands while linearly polarised in IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax bands. The asymmetric U-shaped slot in the ground plane of proposed antenna is used to introduce the necessary 90° phase shift between two orthogonal electric field vectors necessary for circular polarisation. The Ω-shaped slot on patch is used to introduce a band elimination notch between the usable frequency bands. The radiation characteristics of the proposed antenna (at 2.4 GHz) can be changed from left hand circular polarisation (LHCP) to right hand circular polarisation (RHCP) by replacing asymmetric U-shaped slot with its mirror image on the opposite side of ground plane. The proposed antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth of 110.8% and can also be used in various applications including worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) and IEEE 802.11p standard based V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) communication.  相似文献

A coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed capacitive folded-slot antenna is proposed for the radio frequency identification (RFID) application at 5.8 GHz. The antenna is fabricated on a 30/spl times/30 mm substrate. The measured bandwidth and antenna gain are 7.5% and 4.2 dBi, respectively. Radiation patterns are almost omnidirectional in the H-plane. These properties and the compact and uniplanar structure make the antennas suitable for use as RFID tags.  相似文献

A novel reader loop-type antenna for ultra-high-frequency (UHF) near-field radio frequency identification (RFID) applications is presented. This antenna, printed on a 0.8 mm-thick FR4 substrate with a diameter of 16 cm, is composed of four curved strips and four pairs of coupled stubs, and achieves a wide impedance bandwidth from 840 to 1300 MHz. The proposed structure can make large currents along the loop so that a strong and uniform magnetic field distribution is excited in the region around the antenna. Measurements show that the antenna operating with a commercial reader demonstrates good performance of tag identification with inductive coupling for near-field RFID applications.  相似文献

New design of a circular microstrip antenna with dual capacitively coupled feeds for broad-band circular polarization radiation is presented. The dual feeds are with a small top-loaded disk and are connected to a Wilkinson power divider with a 90° phase shift between its two output feedlines. The radiating circular patch, printed on a thin substrate, is supported by nonconducting posts on a conducting ground plane and is excited capacitively through the dual feeds. With a distance less than 10% times the center operating wavelength between the circular patch and the ground plane, the present proposed antenna can provide an impedance bandwidth (VSWR ⩽2) of about 49% and a 3-dB axial-ratio bandwidth of about 35%. The antenna gain bandwidth, defined to be within 1-dB gain variation in the axial-ratio bandwidth, is as large as 28%, with the antenna gain level at about 7.0 dBi  相似文献

A printed small size (12×16.5 mm) ACS-fed e-shaped uniplanar antenna is proposed for dual band applications. The multiband operating characteristics have been achieved by integrating e-shaped radiating strips to the 50ΩACSfeed line. Two simultaneously operating wide bands have been generated by using optimized radiating branch strips for the multiband applications. For obtaining size reduction and wider impedance bandwidth, e-shaped meandered elements are chosen in the design. The proposed design features the bandwidth (VSWR < 2, reflection coefficient below–10 dB) of 100 MHz in 2.4–2.5 GHz, and 2100MHzin 4.0–6.1 GHz. The developed multiband antenna can be useful for several wireless communication applications, such as 2.4 GHz Bluetooth/RFID,WLAN(2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz), WiMAX (5.5 GHz), US public safety band (4.9 GHz), ISM band, radio frequency energy harvesting and internet of things (IoT) applications.  相似文献

A compact ultra-wideband microstrip-fed planar antenna with dual band-notch characteristic is presented. Two notched frequency bands are achieved by embedding an E-slot in the radiation patch and a U-slot defected ground structure in the feeding line. Moreover, the two notched bands can be controlled by adjusting the length of the corresponding slot. Experimental results show that the proposed antenna, with compact size of 35 x 14 mm, has an impedance bandwidth of 2.87-10.91 GHz for a voltage standing-wave ratio less than 2, except two frequency notched bands of 3.49-4.12 and 5.66-6.43 GHz.  相似文献

采用1/4波长微带贴片以缩小天线面积,利用商业软件Ansoft HFSS10.0进行设计仿真和优化,成功研制了一款可用于UHF频段(915MHz)RFID读写器的小型化微带天线。经过实际测试,天线在工作频段内性能优良,驻波比FSWR〈2时阻抗带宽达到30MHz。贴片天线的尺寸与性能完全满足手持RFID阅读器的需求。  相似文献
