The authors present a decentralized model reference adaptive control (DMRAC) scheme for the design of power system stabilizers (PSS) and a means for coordinating the generating unit excitation and governor control loops. In the excitation and governor control loops. In the proposed scheme, the state variables of the generating unit (GU) are to track those of an explicitly specified reference system which is designed to have desirable performance characteristics. The adaptive control law for coordinating the exciter-governor stabilizer signals is derived from a Lyapunov energy function, and thus assures system stability. This paper introduces a technique based on the one of the artificial immune system (AIS) technique known as the clonal selection algorithm (CSA) to obtain the optimal maintenance schedule outage of generating units. Based on a weekly load profile, the proposed technique provides the optimal maintenance window and calculates the optimal output power from each generator over a one year horizon. The maintenance scheduling problem is decoupled into two interrelated sub-problems namely, the maintenance scheduling and the power system sub-problems. The CSA is used to solve the maintenance scheduling subproblem to obtain the optimal maintenance outage of each unit. Based on the schedule generated by the CSA, the economic dispatch iterative lambda technique is used to find the optimal output power from each unit. Due to the search nature of the CSA, infeasible solutions may be introduced during the solution process. Therefore, a local search technique is used to watch the feasibility of the new solutions. The paper reports test results of the proposed algorithm to find the optimal maintenance schedule of the IEEE 30 bus system with 6 generating units and the IEEE 118 bus system with 33 generating units. Results are compared against the results obtained by complementary decision variables structure (CDV) and the evolutionary programming based techniques. Results are encouraging and indicate the viability of the proposed CSA technique.  相似文献

This paper presents a binary/real coded artificial bee colony (BRABC) algorithm to solve the thermal unit commitment problem (UCP). A novel binary coded ABC with repair strategies is used to obtain a feasible commitment schedule for each generating unit, satisfying spinning reserve and minimum up/down time constraints. Economic dispatch is carried out using real coded ABC for the feasible commitment obtained in each interval. In addition, non-linearities like valve-point effect, prohibited operating zones and multiple fuel options are included in the fuel cost functions. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been tested on a standard ten-unit system, on IEEE 118-bus test system and IEEE RTS 24 bus system. Results obtained show that the proposed binary ABC is efficient in generating feasible schedules.  相似文献

当母线合并单元故障,众多间隔的二次装置失压。在智能变电站扩建时,因母线合并单元输入输出通信协议不标准,新增间隔电子互感器(含合并单元)接入困难。采用母线电压互感器按终期新建、间隔合并单元级联按母线段划分、母线合并单元SV/FT3插件冗余等方法,使母线合并单元工程应用合理化。提出标准化合并单元规约、简化过程层网络建议,解决母线合并单元在变电站二次设备中的瓶颈问题。  相似文献

发电计划安全校核及优化调整是电力调度管理方面的传统课题,华东区域电力市场运营对这一课题提出了新的要求,本文在综合考虑新的需求基础上,开发了一套针对华东区域电力市场中省(市)级调度交易中心应用的安全校核及校正系统。系统所需的网络拓扑、机组参数、发电计划、母线负荷、联络线潮流、检修计划、稳定限额等数据均采用XML文件为媒介,系统自动从调度实时信息平台读取这些文件,经解析、等值和转换处理,建立计算模型,依照市场规则进行安全校核和校正计算并向市场上传校正计算结果,作为市场竞价出清的约束条件。此外,系统在模型建立及图形显示、平衡节点选择、联络线计划处理、母线分裂运行、应急运行方案等方面也具有特色。  相似文献

分析了低压母线的保护配置现状,提出了一种简易母线保护新方案。该方案根据低压母线主接线特点抽象出母线单元模块,各母线单元模块根据本母线进线、分段开关的过流情况及其他母线单元模块的开关过流情况,结合出线保护的闭锁信号,实现小电源、进线和分段的选择性跳闸,达到快速切除母线故障的目的。  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the effects of connected loads on the optimal excitation control and dynamic stability of power systems, incorporating doubly excited synchronous generators. The system studied is made up of a generating unit with local load and a transmission line connecting the machine to an infinite bus.A number of operating conditions are examined, and different system parameters used in order to identify effects attributable to the regulators, tie-line reactance, and the characteristics of the local load. For purposes of comparison, corresponding results of dynamic stability studies are also presented for the system with a conventional synchronous machine.  相似文献

An online fault detection scheme for a sample power system is introduced in this paper. The detection approach is based on the use of a variable structure system called “sliding mode observer”, where information contained in the output measurements is utilized to detect the onset of faults in the transmission network of the sample power system in real time and online. The power system comprises a generating unit connected to an infinite bus through double line transmission network. The common case of a fault occurring on a transmission line is illustrated through simulation studies.  相似文献
