The BaZr0.2Ti0.8O3 ceramics with perovskite structure were prepared by solid state reaction method with addition of x La2O3 and x La2O3?+?0.2 wt% Sm2O3 (x?=?0.0, 0.1 and 0.4 wt%). Microstructure and dielectric behaviour of the obtained ceramics were respectively investigated. The compositions of these ceramics demonstrated a single-phase cubic symmetry in a room-temperature X-ray diffraction study. The dielectric constant peak of those samples with addition of x La2O3 and x La2O3?+?0.2 wt% Sm2O3 greatly reduced along with increasing x. Simultaneously, a drastic increase of the values of γ was also observed when x rose, exhibiting a diffuse phase transition. T m increased along with increasing La content for x La2O3 doped BZT20 ceramics, but decreased along with increasing La content for x La2O3?+?0.2 wt% Sm2O3 doped BZT20 ceramics. Owing to the doping of Sm3+, the x La2O3?+?0.2 wt% Sm2O3 doped BZT20 ceramics have maintained very low and stable dissipation factors under an increasing environment temperature, making them superior candidates for applications.  相似文献

In this work, (Ba0.96Ca0.04)(Ti0.92Sn0.08)O3xmol MnO (BCTS–xMn) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were fabricated by the conventional solid-state technique. The composition dependence (0 ≤ x ≤ 3.0 %) of the microstructure, phase structure, and electrical properties was systematically investigated. An O–T phase structure was obtained in all ceramics, and the sintering behavior of the BCTS ceramics was gradually improved by doping MnO content. In addition, the relationship between poling temperature and piezoelectric activity was discussed. The ceramics with x = 1.5 % sintering at temperature of 1330 °C demonstrated an optimum electrical behavior: d 33 ~ 475 pC/N, k p ~ 50 %, ε r ~ 4060, tanδ ~ 0.4 %, P r ~ 10.3 μC/cm2, E c ~ 1.35 kV/mm, T C ~ 82 °C, strain ~0.114 % and \(d_{33}^{*}\) ~ 525 pm/V. As a result, we achieved a preferable electric performance in BaTiO3-based ceramics with lower sintering temperature, suggesting that the BCTS–xMn material system is a promising candidate for lead-free piezoelectric ceramics.  相似文献

Ceramic samples of (Pb1?xCax)(Fe0.5Nb0.5)O3 with x = 0.20, 0.40, 0.45, 0.50, 0.55 and 0.60 were obtained by columbite precursor method. All the synthesized samples have perovskite structure with pseudo-cubic symmetry. Dielectric properties of all the samples were measured as a function of frequency from room temperature up to 573 K. Two dielectric anomalies were observed in εr–T plots at about 400 and 500 K. The impedance analysis depicts a single relaxation process. Activation energies obtained from temperature dependence of relaxation frequency, f0 and grain resistance, Rg were found to be more or less comparable. The observed relaxation in all the samples seems to be due to electron relaxation associated with oxygen vacancies.  相似文献

(0.725 ? x)BiFeO3–0.275BaTiO3–xBi(Mg0.5Zr0.5)O3 + 1 mol% MnO2 lead-free ceramics (x = 0–0.08) were synthesized by a conventional solid state reaction method and the effects of Bi(Mg0.5Zr0.5)O3 on phase transition, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of the ceramics were investigated. After the addition of Bi(Mg0.5Zr0.5)O3, the crystal structure of the ceramics is transformed from rhombohedral to tetragonal phase and the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) of rhombohedral and tetragonal phase is formed at x = 0.01. The grain size of the ceramics increases with x increasing from 0 to 0.02 and then decreases with x further increasing. The dielectric peak of the ceramics becomes diffusive with x increasing after the addition of Bi(Mg0.5Zr0.5)O3. The ceramics with x = 0–0.08 exhibit much better electric insulation with the resistivity of 1.0 × 109–5.0 × 109 Ω·cm than pure BiFeO3 ceramic with the resistivity of ~5 × 107 Ω·cm. Due to the formation of the MPB, the ceramics with x = 0–0.02 possess good densification with the relative densities ρ r of 94.9–96.3 %, strong piezoelectricity with the d 33 of 129–135 pC/N and very high Curie temperature with the T C of 559–610 °C.  相似文献

Structural, vibrational, dielectric and electrical properties of (Na0.5Bi0.5)(Zr0.025Ti0.975)O3 ceramic synthesized by the solid-state reaction technique have been carried out. The X-ray diffraction analysis was indicated as a pure perovskite phase in the rhombohedral structure. The modes of rhombohedral vibrations were appeared in the experimental Raman spectrum at room temperature. The dielectric and electrical properties of the material were investigated by impedance spectroscopy analysis for a broad range of temperatures (50–560 °C) and frequency domain of 102?106 Hz. The dielectric measurement exhibit two phase transitions: a ferro-antiferroelectric transition followed by an antiferro-paraelectric transition at higher temperatures. Complex impedance analysis was carried out in order to distinct the contribution of the grains and the grain boundaries to the total electrical conduction. The Nyquist plot was proved to be a non-Debye relaxation mechanism. The combined spectroscopic plots of the imaginary part of electric impedance and modulus confirmed the non-Debye type behavior. The frequency dependent ac conductivity obeys the double power law behavior and shows three types of conduction process. The significant decrease of dc conductivity spectrum followed the Arrhenius relationship. The values of calculated activation energy of the compound implied that the electrical conduction is mostly due the high oxygen mobility.  相似文献

The influences of B2O3 and CuO (BCu, B2O3: CuO = 1:1) additions on the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of LiNb0.6Ti0.5O3 (LNT) ceramics were investigated. LNT ceramics were prepared with conventional solid-state method and sintered at temperatures about 1,100 °C. The sintering temperature of LNT ceramics with BCu addition could be effectively reduced to 900 °C due to the liquid phase effects resulting from the additives. The addition of BCu does not induce much degradation in the microwave dielectric properties. Typically, the excellent microwave dielectric properties of εr = 66, Q × f = 6,210 GHz, and τ f  = 25 ppm/oC were obtained for the 2 wt% BCu-doped sample sintered at 900 °C. Chemical compatibility of silver electrodes and low-fired samples has also been investigated.  相似文献

High aspect ratio patelike NaNbO3 particles with pure perovskite structure have been successfully synthesized by topochemical microcrystal conversion (TMC) from plate-like precursor particles of the layer-structured Bi2.5Na3.5Nb5O18. By changing the Bi2.5Na3.5Nb5O18/Na2CO3 ratio, large and thin NaNbO3 particles with a thickness of approximately 0.5 μm and a width of approximately 20 μm were obtained. The obtained NaNbO3 particles is quite suitable for fabricating textured (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3-based ceramics. Using the fine platelike NaNbO3 particles as templates, dense <001> -oriented (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3-0.5 mol %MnO2 ceramics with high texture quality (Lotgering factor F 001 = 87 %) and excellent piezoelectric properties were produced by templated grain growth. Compared with randomly oriented ceramics, textured samples show greatly enhanced properties. The room-temperature strain S, the piezoelectric coefficient d 33 * and d 33 reach up to 0.093 %, 233 pm/V and 195pC/N, respectively, which are all about 1.5 times larger than those of non-textured ceramics.  相似文献

Pure K0.5Na0.5NbO3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics without any dopants/additives were sintered at various temperatures (950–1125 °C) in low pO2 atmosphere (pO2?~?10?6 atm). All ceramics exhibit high relative densities (>?94%) and low weight loss (<?0.6%). Compared to the ceramics sintered in air, the ceramics sintered in low pO2 exhibit improved electrical properties. The piezoelectric constant d33 and converse piezoelectric constant d33* are 112 pC/N and 119 pm/V, respectively. The ceramics show typical ferroelectric behavior with the remnant polarization of 21.6 µC/cm2 and coercive field of 15.5 kV/cm under measurement electric field of 70 kV/cm. The good electrical properties of the present samples are related to the suppression of volatility of the alkali cations during the sintering process in low pO2 atmosphere.  相似文献

The Mg3B2O6 ceramics with lithium magnesium zinc borosilicate (LMZBS) glass were prepared at a lower sintering temperature. The effects of the glass addition on the densification, phase development, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of the Mg3B2O6 ceramics were investigated. The addition of LMZBS glass improved the densification and lowered the sintering temperature of Mg3B2O6 ceramics from 1,300 to 950 °C. X-ray diffraction patterns showed that Mg3B2O6 transformed into Mg2B2O5 and a new phase, Li2ZnSiO4, crystallized from the glass phase. Because of the high dielectric performance of these phases, Mg3B2O6 mixed with 55 wt% LMZBS sintered at 950 °C for 3 h had εr = 6.8, Q × f = 50,000 GHz, and τf = ?64 ppm/°C at 7.28 GHz. The chemical compatibility of ceramic-glass composites with Ag was also investigated for LTCC.  相似文献

Sr0.97La0.02TiO3 ceramics with samll amounts of NiNb2O6 additives were prepared by the traditional solid state sintering method, and the phase purity, microstructure, dielectric properties and energy storage behavior of the NiNb2O6-added Sr0.97La0.02TiO3 ceramics were investigated. The results show that the grain size of the ceramics firstly decreases and then increases with increasing NiNb2O6 concentration. The average grain size reaches 0.55 um for the sample with 4.5 wt% NiNb2O6. Moreover, impedance spectroscopy (IS) analysis was employed to study the electrical conductive behavior of NiNb2O6-doped Sr0.97La0.02TiO3 ceramics. IS results reveale that the NiNb2O6-doped Sr0.97La0.02TiO3 ceramic has large R gb /(R gb  + R g ) ratios due to the decreased grain sizes. The breakdown strength is notably improved, and the highest breakdown strength of 324 kV/cm can be achieved for the sample with 4.5 wt% NiNb2O6 additive. The Sr0.97La0.02TiO3 sample with 4.5 wt% NiNb2O6 possesses the maximum theoretical energy density of 1.36 J/cm3, which is about 2 times higher than that of pure SrTiO3 in the literature. And its energy storage efficiency reaches 91.4 % under applied electric field of 80 kV/cm. This study provides the NiNb2O6 added ceramic as an attractive candidate for making high-energy density capacitors.  相似文献

The polycrystalline sample of bismuth based-complex multiferroic of a composition Bi0.5Pb0.5Fe0.5Ce0.5O3 was prepared by a high-temperature solid-state reaction technique (calcinations temperature = 900 °C, sintering temperature = 960 °C, time = 4 h). Preliminary structural analysis using XRD data exhibits the formation of a single-phase compound. Studies of surface morphology of the ceramic sample of the compound, recorded at room temperature using a scanning electron microscope, show uniform distribution of grains of different size with few voids. Detailed studies of dielectric properties (εr, tan δ) supported the existence of multiferroic properties in the above complex system. The analysis of impedance parameters, recorded in a wide frequency (1 kHz–1 MHz) and temperature (room temperature to 450 °C) range of the material provide better understanding of (a) role of grains and grain boundaries in resistive and capacitative characteristics, (c) structure-properties relationship and (b) type of relaxation process occurred in the material. Study of temperature dependence of dc conductivity of the compound shows the existence of negative temperature coefficient of resistance in it. The nature of variation of ac conductivity with temperature of the material follows the Josher’s universal power law. Study of magneto-electric characteristics of the sample at room temperature has provided many useful and new data on magneto-electric coupling coefficient of different orders.  相似文献

Barium strontium gadolinium bismuth niobate (Ba0.1Sr0.81Gd0.06Bi2Nb2O9, BSGBN) ceramics were prepared by using the conventional solid-state reaction method. The dielectric permittivity, modulus and impedance spectroscopy studies on BSGBN were investigated in the frequency range, 45 Hz–5 MHz and in the temperature range from room temperature (RT) to 570 °C. The dielectric anomaly with a broad peak was observed at 470 °C. Simultaneous substitution of Ba2+ and Gd3+ increases the transition temperature of SrBi2Nb2O9 (SBN) from 392 to 470 °C. XRD studies in BSGBN revealed an orthorhombic structure with lattice parameters a = 5.4959 Å, b/a = 1.000, c = 25.0954 Å. Impedance and modulus plots were used as tools to analyse the sample behaviour as a function of frequency. Cole-Cole plots showed a non-Debye relaxation. Also, dc and ac conductivity measurements were performed on BSGBN. The electric impedance which describes the dielectric relaxation behaviour is fitted to the Kohlrausch exponential function. Near the phase transition temperature, a stretched exponential parameter β indicating the degree of distribution of the relaxation time has a small value.  相似文献

The Ba3(VO4)2–x wt% Co2O3 (x?=?0.5–5) ceramics were prepared by the solid state reaction method in order to reduce the sintering temperature. The effects of the Co2O3 additions on the phase composition, microstructures, sintering characteristics and microwave dielectric properties of Ba3(VO4)2 ceramics are investigated by an X-ray diffractometer, a scanning electron microscope and a network analyzer. As a result, the Q?×?f value of 54,000 GH, the ε r of 14.6 and the τf value of +58.5 ppm/°C were obtained in the sample of the Ba3(VO4)2–3 wt% Co2O3 ceramic sintered at the temperature of 925 °C, which is capable to co-fire with electrode metal of high conductivity such as Ag (961 °C). Moreover, the Q?×?f values of the sample with Co2O3 higher than that of 3 wt% additions decreased because of the formation of Ba2V2O7 phase.  相似文献

Lead-free MnO2-doped K0.5Na0.5Nb0.92Sb0.08O3 ceramics have been fabricated by a conventional ceramic technique and their dielectric and piezoelectric properties have been studied. Our results show that a small amount of MnO2 (0.5–1.0 mol%) is enough to improve the densification of the ceramics and decrease the sintering temperature of the ceramics. The co-effects of MnO2 doping and Sb-substitution lead to significant improvements in the ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties. The K0.5Na0.5Nb0.92Sb0.08O3 ceramic with 0.5 mol%MnO2 doping possesses optimum propeties: d 33 = 187 pC/N, k P = 47.2%, ε r = 980, tanδ = 2.71% and T c = 287 °C. Due to high tetragonal-orthorhombic phase transition temperature (T O-T ~ 150 °C), the K0.5Na0.5Nb0.92Sb0.08O3 ceramic with 0.5 mol%MnO2 doping exhibits a good thermal stability of piezoelectric properties.  相似文献

Multiferroic properties of La-modified four-layered perovskite Bi5?x La x Fe0.5Co0.5Ti3O15 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) ceramics were investigated, by analyzing the magnetodielectric effect, magneto-polarization response and magnetoelectric conversion. X-ray diffraction indicated the formation of pure Aurivillius ceramics, and Raman spectroscopy revealed the Bi ions displacement and the crystal structure variation. The enhancement of ferromagnetic and ferroelectric properties was observed in Bi5?x La x Fe0.5Co0.5Ti3O15 after La modification. The evidence for enhanced ME coupling was determined by magnetic field-induced marked variations in the dielectric constant and polarization. A maximum ME coefficient of 1.15 mV/cm·Oe was achieved in Bi4.25La0.75Fe0.5Co0.5Ti3O15 ceramic, which provides the possible promise for novel magnetoelectric device application.  相似文献

New dielectric ceramics in the SrLa4−xSmxTi5O17 (0 ≤ x ≤ 4) composition series were prepared through a solid state mixed oxide route to investigate the effect of Sm+3 substitution for La+3 on the phase, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties. At x = 0–3, all the compositions formed single phase ceramics within the detection limit of in-house X-ray diffraction when sintered in the temperature range 1500–1580 °C. At x = 4, a mixture of Sm2Ti2O7 and SrTiO3 formed. The maximum Sm+3-containing single phase ceramics, SrLaSm3Ti5O17, exhibited relative permittivity (εr) = 42.6, temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (τ f ) = −96 ppm/oC and quality factor (Q u f o ) = 7332 GHz. An analysis of results presented here indicates that SrLa4−xSmxTi5O17 ceramics, exhibiting τ f  ~ 0 and εr ~ 53 could be achieved at x ~ 1.4 but at the cost of decrease in Q u f o .  相似文献

The (Ba0.85Ca0.15) (Zr0.1Ti0.9)O3 ? x   wt% Sr(Cu1/3Ta2/3)O3 [BCZT ? x  wt% SCT, x = 0–0.3] lead-free ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid-state method. The phase structure was investigated by X-ray diffraction. The results show that only a tetragonal phase is observed in these ceramics. The sintering behavior of BCZT ceramics is also improved by using SCT as a sintering aid. The ceramic with x  = 0.2 wt% SCT demonstrates good piezoelectric properties:d33 ~ 577 pC/N and kp ~ 59.1 %, Furthermore, the Curie temperature of the ceramics also increases and reaches 97 °C.  相似文献

The effects of the replacement of Ba2+ by off-center Mg2+ ions on the structural and electrical properties of BaZr0.1Ti0.9O3 ceramics were investigated. We show that the use of magnesium as A-site dopant favors the formation of the perovskite phase at a lower temperature and improves the densification of the ceramics. Combining XRD, SEM and electrical measurements, we determined that the solubility limit of Mg is ~ 2%. We show that Mg doping leads to a decrease in both the Curie temperature and remnant polarization of the ceramics. A 1% Mg content, however, enhances the room-temperature d33 piezoelectric coefficient due to the composition proximity to an impurity induced morphotropic phase boundary.  相似文献

A study of the structural characteristics of the composites [Pb(Fe0.5Nb0.5)O3(PFN)] x -[Cr0.75Fe1.25O3(CRFO)]100?x (x = 0 (CRFO100), 10, 50, 90, 100) was performed in this work. The compounds PFN100 and CRFO100 were prepared by conventional solid-state method and investigated by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and 57Fe Mössbauer Spectroscopy techniques. The X-ray analysis shows that PFN100 is tetragonal and the CRFO100 phase has a trigonal symmetry. The refinement of all the composites was also performed and discussed in this paper. The Mössbauer spectrum for the composite samples shows a paramagnetic doublet and a sextet probably assigned to a magnetic phase associated to Fe+3. For the sample PFN100, only a magnetic field of 49.5 T (isomer shift (δ) = 0.21 mm/s) was detected. For the composite sample, the δ and Δ are typical of Fe ions at sites of octahedral coordination.  相似文献

A one-pot polymerization method using citric acid and glucose for the synthesis of nano-crystalline BaFe0.5Nb0.5O3 is described. Phase evolution and the development of the crystallite size during decomposition of the (Ba,Fe,Nb)-gel were examined up to 1100 °C. Calcination at 850 °C of the gel leads to a phase-pure nano-crystalline BaFe0.5Nb0.5O3 powder with a crystallite size of 28 nm. The shrinkage of compacted powders starts at 900 °C. Dense ceramic bodies (relative density ≥ 90%) can be obtained either after conventional sintering above 1250 °C for 1 h or after two-step sintering at 1200 °C. Depending on the sintering regime, the ceramics have average grain sizes between 0.3 and 52 µm. The optical band gap of the nano-sized powder is 2.75(4) eV and decreases to 2.59(2) eV after sintering. Magnetic measurements of ceramics reveal a Néel temperature of about 23 K. A weak spontaneous magnetization might be due to the presence of a secondary phase not detectable by XRD. Dielectric measurements show that the permittivity values increase with decreasing frequency and rising temperature. The highest permittivity values of 10.6 × 104 (RT, 1 kHz) were reached after sintering at 1350 °C for 1 h. Tan δ values of all samples show a maximum at 1–2 MHz at RT. The frequency dependence of the impedance can be well described using a single RC-circuit.  相似文献
