Using silver ions as carrier in oil/water/oil‐type emulsion liquid membranes, batch wise extraction experiments were carried out to separate toluene from a mixture of toluene and n‐heptane. The separation performances, represented by the permeation rate, emulsion stability, and separation factor, were analyzed systematically by varying the operating parameters, viz., contact time, concentration of Ag+, emulsification time, surfactant concentration, membrane stabilizer concentration, relative amount of solvent, and initial feed phase concentration. The emulsion liquid membranes thus formed are stable, and Ag+ and surfactant concentrations strongly affect the permeation behavior of toluene.  相似文献

在以(D2EHPA+TOPO)/ROSO3H/液体石蜡/煤油为膜相,HCl为内相,磷酸中La3+为外相的乳化液膜(ELM)体系中研究了不同相比A/O、膜相D2EHPA(H2A2)、TOPO、ROSO3H浓度、料液相H3PO4、H2PO4和H+浓度和内相HCl浓度对总分配比DT的影响。实验结果表明:随A/O的增加,DT显著下降;随膜相H2A2、TOPO、ROSO3H浓度的增加,DT先增加后基本不变;但料液相H3PO4和H+浓度的增加使DT降低,DT随H2PO4浓度增加而升高;DT随內相HCl浓度的增加而升高。通过斜率法对ELM各组分H2A2、TOPO、ROSO3H、H2PO4、H3PO4、H+的logc-logDT的线性拟合直线的斜率确定了其参与的摩尔数,得到了该ELM体系的相界面反应-传质机理,并计算出萃取、反萃反应平衡常数k1、k2分别为107.7237、104.8025。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A mathematical model is developed in this paper to simulate the facilitated transport of phenylalanine (Phe) in emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) systems with di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid as a carrier. The model takes into account the mass transfer in both the external aqueous phase and the organic membrane phase interfacial reaction as well as membrane breakage during agitation. The model is tested by comparing theoretical predications with experimental results using Phe extraction by ELM processes. It is found that the model is valid for simulating the facilitated transport of Phe with ELM under various experimental conditions.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper, hollow fiber renewal liquid membrane (HFRLM) and hollow fiber supported liquid membrane (HFSLM) were used to simultaneously remove and recover copper(II) from aqueous solutions, and the transport performance of these two techniques were compared under the similar conditions for the system of CuSO4 +D2EHPA in kerosene +HCl. The results showed that the HFRLM process was more stable than the HFSLM process. The HFRLM process had a higher overall mass transfer coefficient than that of HFSLM process in single-pass experiments. These were because the renewal effect of the liquid membrane layer could reduce the mass transfer resistance of the lumen side and replenish the loss of the membrane liquid in the HFRLM process. The transport results were better in the HFRLM process than that in the HFSLM process with recycling experiments. Therefore, HFRLM technique is a promising method for simultaneous removal and recovery of heavy metal from aqueous solutions.  相似文献

Abstract

A batch extraction of an essential amino acid, phenylalanine, from an aqueous solution of different concentrations by an Emulsion Liquid Membrane (ELM) was developed using D2EHPA as a cationic carrier, Span 80 as the surfactant, paraffin, and kerosene as the diluents, and HCl as the internal electrolyte. All effective parameters such as the initial pH of the aqueous external phase, the electrolyte concentration in the aqueous internal phase, carrier, and surfactant concentration in the emulsion, the volume ratio of the organic to aqueous internal phase (Roi), the volume ratio of the W/O emulsion to the aqueous external phase (Rew) and time were examined and optimized using the Taguchi method. Applying the Taguchi method to analyze the experimental results, the effects and contribution of each of the factors on the extraction efficiency were obtained. The results obtained from the experiments illustrated that with a stable emulsion, by optimizing all the effective parameters, a considerable amount of phenylalanine can be extracted in a short time with an acceptable ratio of swelling and breakage.  相似文献

Abstract

The extraction and concentration of phenylalanine by the continuous CSTR emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) separation process has been evaluated. We discussed the influence of operating conditions on the separation and concentration efficiencies of phenylanine. It was found that the extraction rate of phenylalanine increased as the amount of emulsion used and the internal concentration of H+ increased. However, the concentration ratio of phenylalanine increased as the emulsion amount and acid concentration increased only up to a certain limit and then declined with further increases of these. The reduction of the concentration ratio is due to the swelling of the emulsion drops. Two effects, swelling owing to osmotic pressure and swelling caused by the entrainment of water due to mechanical agitation, are responsible for the swelling of emulsion drops. A mass transfer model for analyzing the extraction of phenylalanine by liquid surfactant membrane is presented. The model assumes that the extraction and stripping reactions are reversible, and that the reaction equilibrium exists in both the internal and the external interfaces. The scheme for mass transfer is based on a hollow sphere model. The phenomena of osmotic swelling, mechanical entrainment, and breakage are all considered in the mathematical treatment. The effects of operation parameters on the extraction efficiency and concentration ratio are discussed by simulation.  相似文献

以聚异丁二烯双丁酰亚胺(T-154)为表面活性剂制备乳状液膜,研究其对废水中苯酚的分离富集效果。通过单因素法和正交实验优选了乳状液膜的制备条件,即:V(T-154)∶V(液体石蜡)∶V(煤油)=4∶2∶30,质量分数3%的Na OH溶液为内水相,油内比为1∶2(体积比);将最优条件下制备的乳状液膜用于对废水中苯酚的分离富集条件为:溶液p H=6,乳水比为1∶4(体积比),富集时间为15 min;在该条件下加标回收率为96%~98%,相对标准偏差RSD(n=6)为3.7%~4.8%。  相似文献

通过以二(2-乙基己基)磷酸酯/氧化三辛基膦(D2EHPA/TOPO)为流动载体,磺化聚丁二烯(LYF)为表面活性剂,液体石蜡为膜增溶剂,煤油为稀释剂,盐酸为内水相的W/O型乳液,与含La(Ⅲ)的磷酸的外水相进行萃取的过程,制备了W/O/W的双重乳化液膜体系,用单因素法考察了载体浓度,表面活性剂浓度,内相酸度,水乳比等对液膜提取率的影响,确定了最佳工艺条件,迁移率达94.21%以上。并以单浓度递变斜率法研究了载体浓度,表面活性剂浓度,磷酸浓度,H2PO4^-浓度,水相平衡H^+浓度对分配比的影响,推导出了该乳化液膜的传质机理所经历的步骤。传质机理中包括萃取-反萃表达式,和协萃物组成La(H2PO4)L2(HL)2·(H3PO4)·2TOPO。  相似文献

Extraction of Pd(II) from nitric acid solution with CYANEX 471X in chloroform was carried out using liquid–liquid extraction and emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) techniques. Extraction equilibrium was postulated using the slope analysis method. KSCN solution efficiently stripped Pd(II). In the ELM investigations, the effects of the different parameters affecting the membrane stability were studied. The prepared membrane was found to be selective for Pd(II) extraction in the presence of some interfering ions and its permeation reached 98%. The kinetics of Pd(II) permeation through the prepared membrane indicated that the rate of permeation depends on the carrier, Pd(II), and nitric acid concentration.  相似文献

The article describes transport of Pb(II) through bulk liquid membrane (BLM) containing calix[6]arene hexaester derivative (1) as a carrier. The effect of various parameters such as temperature, carrier concentration, stirring speed and type of solvent on the Pb(II) transport efficiency of the carrier through BLM was evaluated. The activation energy values for the extraction and re-extraction were found as 56.33 kJ mol?1 and 14.79 kJ mol?1, respectively. These values demonstrate that the process is diffusionally controlled by Pb(II). Observations indicate that the membrane entrance and exit rate constants (k1, k2) increase with increasing stirring speed as well as carrier concentration and decrease with increasing temperature. The effect of solvent on k1 and k2 was found to be in the order of CH2Cl2 > CHCl3 > CCl4.  相似文献

A new emulsion liquid membrane was prepared for dysprosium (Dy) extraction from aqueous solution using multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The influence of MWCNT concentration, carrier and surfactant concentration, stirring speed, feed‐phase pH, and internal phase concentration and their interactive effects were studied. A regression model for Dy extraction was developed and the parameters were optimized by response surface methodology. The extent of extraction increases with higher MWCNT concentration up to a certain level. The Dy extraction through the liquid membrane containing MWCNT improves with time. Moreover, the overall mass transfer coefficient was enhanced in the presence of MWCNT due to the formation of a more stable emulsion and liquid membrane.  相似文献

Abstract

Electroplating is one of the important processes involved in surface finishing and metal deposition for better life of articles and for decoration. Chromium(VI) is the most commonly used metal for electroplating. Thus, the waste water of such industries contains Chromium(VI) ions. Emulsion Liquid Membrane (ELM) separation technique provides a potentially powerful technique for the removal of Chromium(VI) ions from the waste water. Abstract

A selective transport system for alkali and alkaline earth metallic ions with a perchlorate ion as a pairing ion species through a supported liquid membrane (SLM) containing tripentyl phosphate (TPP) as a carrier is described. The SLM used is a porous polypropylene membrane impregnated with TPP solution in o-nitrophenyloctylether. The effects of the pairing ion species, the initial perchlorate concentration, and the TPP concentration on metallic ion transportability are examined under various experimental conditions. The permeation velocities of the metallic ions in the transport system followed the sequence Li+?Na+>K+>Mg2+; that is, a highly selective transport for Li+ ion was observed. Compared with the transport rates of alkali metallic ions, those of transition metallic ions such as Cu2+ and Fe3+ ions are very low. The permeation velocities of alkali and alkaline earth metallic ions through an SLM are dependent on the concentrations of perchlorate and TPP. Equations for the permeation velocities of Li+, Na+, K+, and Mg2+ ions through an SLM, based on two concentrations of perchlorate and TPP, are proposed.  相似文献

Tetraaza-14-crown-4 and oleic acid was successfully applied for transport of Cu(II) in chloroform bulk liquid membrane. The uphill moving of Cu(II) during the liquid membrane transport process has occurred. The main effective variable such as the type of the metal ion acceptor in the receiving phase and its concentration, tetraaza-14-crown-4 and oleic acid concentration in the organic phase on the efficiency of the ion-transport system were examined. By using L-cysteine as a metal ion acceptor in the receiving phase, the maximum amount of copper (II) transported across the liquid membrane was achieved to 96 ± 1.5% after 140 minutes. The selectivity of copper ion transport from the aqueous solutions containing Pb2+, Tl+, Ag+, Co2+, Ni2+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Hg2+, Cd2+ and Ca2+ ions were investigated. In the presence of CH3COONH4 and Na4P2O7 as suitable masking agents in the source phase, the interfering effects of Pb+2 and Cd2+ were diminished drastically.  相似文献

Separation of nickel(II) and cadmium(II) ions from sulphate solution with use of supported liquid membranes (SLM) has been studied. Di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) dissolved in kerosene was used as the ion carrier. Obtained data were compared with data from polymer inclusion membranes (PIM) experiments. It was shown that use of SLM membranes enables separation of Ni(II) and Cd(II) ions. Experimental results data show that faster transport and higher recovery factor values were obtained for supported liquid membranes.  相似文献
