The slow adoption of Bridge Management Systems (BMSs) and its impractical future prediction of the condition rating of bridges are attributed to the inconsistency between BMS inputs and bridge agencies' existing data for a BMS in terms of compatibility and the enormous number of bridge datasets that include historical structural information. Among these, historical bridge element condition ratings are some of the key pieces of information required for bridge asset prioritisation but in most cases only limited data is available.

This study addresses the abovementioned difficulties faced by bridge management agencies by using limited historical bridge inspection records to model time-series element-level data. This paper presents an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based prediction model, called the Backward Prediction Model (BPM), for generating historical bridge condition ratings using limited bridge inspection records. The BPM employs historical non-bridge datasets such as traffic volumes, populations and climates, to establish correlations with existing bridge condition ratings from very limited bridge inspection records. The resulting model predicts the missing historical condition ratings of individual bridge elements. The outcome of this study can contribute to reducing the uncertainty in predicting future bridge condition ratings and so improve the reliability of various BMS analysis outcomes.  相似文献

桥梁精益建造数据管理能力成熟度模型对于评估桥梁精益建造数据管理服务能力,提升桥梁工程项目管理能力有着重要意义。本文结合现有的数据管理成熟度模型和工程管理相关理论,基于初始级、受管理级、稳健级、量化管理级、优化级五个阶段构建桥梁精益建造数据管理能力成熟度模型,并以沉香大桥项目为例对模型进行应用探析。从数据战略、治理、架构、应用、安全、质量、标准、生存周期8个能力域,28个能力项探究数据管理能力成熟度的评价和优化提升的方法,为我国桥梁工程的精益建造的发展和创新提出针对性建议。  相似文献

针对现役桥梁工程中重建轻养、信息传递不通畅等问题,采用BIM技术的管养平台建设已成为桥梁养护管理的新方向。本文以武汉某公路大桥为例,利用BIM信息承载传递优势,融合GIS、移动互联网、物联网、无人机倾斜摄像等新技术,面向桥梁设计、施工、管养构建基于BIM的大型桥梁管养平台。实践证明,该平台能有效提高大型桥梁养护管理效率和科学决策水平,实现大型桥梁养护管理数据化、智能化,为大型桥梁全寿命期管养提供一种新的手段。  相似文献

Abstract:   This article discusses the requirements for developing a mobile model-based bridge lifecycle management system (MMBLMS). This new system should link all the information about the lifecycle stages of a bridge (e.g., design, construction, inspection, and maintenance) to a 4D model of the bridge incorporating different scales of space and time to record events throughout the lifecycle with suitable levels of details (LoDs). In addition, MMBLMS should support distributed databases and mobile location-based computing by providing user interfaces that can be used on mobile computers, such as tablet PCs. A framework for MMBLMS is described and the basic computational issues for realizing it are discussed including the navigation modes, the picking behavior and the LoDs for representing bridge elements and defects. A prototype system developed in Java language is used to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed methodology for realizing this system.  相似文献

Recently, the maintenance of bridges has become a major social concern, and thus the development of a practical bridge management system is required. The present study is an attempt to develop a new bridge management system (BMS) for deteriorated concrete bridges by evaluating the output results from a bridge rating expert system that is currently under development. The proposed BMS offers various maintenance plans based on a combination of maintenance cost minimization and quality maximization. Genetic algorithms (GAs) are adopted for solving the optimization problem. These algorithms, which are based on the theory of evolution, create a suitable individual (optimal) solution through the repetition of three operators: selection, crossover, and mutation. Furthermore, applications to several existing concrete bridges are presented so as to demonstrate the validity of the proposed bridge management system.  相似文献

Recent advances in sensing technologies make it feasible and practic al to install sensors on expensive civil infrastructures, such as bridges, for safety monitoring during construction and long-term assessment of the structures condition. This paper presents a case study of a structural health monitoring (SHM) and bridge management system (BMS) installed in Yeongjong Bridge in South Korea. This is a self-anchored suspension bridge on the expressway that links Seoul to Incheon International Airport. Experimental data have been collected from the bridge for two years, since its completion in 2000. This paper presents a list of examples where the structural health monitoring system can be applied and provides general guidelines and recommendations for deploying a monitoring system in terms of (1) sensing and instrumentation, (2) data collection and signal processing, and (3) information processing.  相似文献

Many bridge authorities responsible for the management and maintenance of bridges in their road networks use computer-based databases or bridge management systems (BMSs) as data management and analysis tools to aid them in performing many important bridge management functions and decisions. Due to superior spatial data handling capabilities, geographic information system (GIS) technology is increasingly being considered for implementation in many infrastructure planning and management systems, including bridge management systems. This article describes the use of a hybrid business and information modeling approach to develop a model to support the development of a geographic information system (GIS)–based bridge management system. It presents the architecture for implementing such a system for the Bridge Unit of the Public Works Department (JKR) in Malaysia. Most GIS systems are technology-based. The methodology used here captures organizational processes as well as information systems requirements. This facilitates business decision making and business process change. Using this hybrid modeling approach, first the organization's business objectives, functions, and processes are modeled. These business requirements form the basis of detailed information requirement analysis. Object-oriented methods are then employed to define object models and show the relationships between objects and the operations performed on them. Finally, the software architecture and interface for developing such a prototype GIS-based BMS is described and some sample screen outputs of the system to analyze and visualize over 2500 actual Malaysian bridge structures in the road network are presented. Future developments of the infrastructure set out here are capable of providing a BMS that supports business processes and facilitates business process change.  相似文献

为了推动桥梁信息化建设的发展,提升桥梁BIM模型的创建效率,本文通过研究公路常规桥梁构件结构形式、结构变化规律及建设管理阶段的信息需求,提出了桥梁构件的参数化创建方法、信息深度及其命名标准,并依托Revit软件及数据库技术,建立桥梁标准构件库及其管理程序。研究表明,基于本文创建的桥梁标准构件库可快速实现公路常规桥梁BIM模型的创建,构建BIM模型能够满足工程建设管理需求,显著提升了桥梁信息化建设效率。  相似文献

首先分析BIM和GIS的技术特征, 指出BIM与GIS的结合能够为桥梁施工过程信息管理提供从宏观到微观的形式展现, 更好地实现桥梁施工过程数字化、信息化、可视化建设, 进一步提升工程项目施工管理水平。然后, 结合桥梁工程施工阶段的需求分析, 本文采用C/S系统架构, 实现了基于BIM+GIS的桥梁施工进度、质量、成本的三维数字化管理, 将数据库技术、桥梁三维参数化建模、数据共享技术应用于桥梁施工过程管理, 实现了桥梁施工过程由3D-BIM到5D-BIM的跨越, 为管理者提供更有效的决策支持。最后, 分析了工程管理信息化实施效果, 并指出BIM+GIS技术在工程建设中的应用前景。  相似文献

桥梁作为交通运输基础设施的“咽喉”,是交通安全的重要组成部分。随着信息技术的快速发展,鉴于我国拥有着巨大规模的大型桥梁群,故迫切需要建立桥梁群智能管养平台。本文将BIM与GIS集成技术应用到在役桥梁的智慧管养平台建设中,介绍了平台整体架构及主要功能。通过宏观地理空间与微观结构信息相结合,实时获取桥梁基础信息数据和状态监测信息,是运营、维护、提升桥梁实物资产的战略性和系统性的过程,重点是基于高质量的数据信息,通过工程和经济分析,确定检查、保养、修复、更换活动的结构性序列,使桥梁资产在全寿命周期内以最小的实际成本保持预期状态,大大提高了工作效率和管理水平。  相似文献
