低温等离子处理对玄武岩纤维表面及复合材料性能的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
对玄武岩纤维表面进行低温等离子处理,研究了低温等离子处理纤维对其表面性能、偶联剂吸附量及纤维增强树脂层间胶合强度和力学性能的影响。结果表明,纤维表面经低温等离子处理后,玄武岩纤维表面接触角由未处理时的132.23°降为75.22°,润湿性大大改善;纤维表面偶联剂吸附量在低温等离子处理10遍时达到最大;低温等离子及偶联剂处理纤维表面,处理10遍时,玄武岩纤维增强环氧树脂(BFRP)的拉伸性能、弯曲性能达到最优,而其剪切强度在处理2到10遍范围增加较快,10遍以后几乎不变。  相似文献

简单介绍了聚对苯撑苯并双噁唑(PBO)纤维的性能与应用,重点阐述了低温等离子处理法、酸碱处理法、偶联剂处理法、辐射处理法和共聚改性法5种常用的PBO纤维改性方法的研究情况。综述表明,无论采用何种改性方法,都能相应有效改善纤维的表面性能,提高纤维与其它材质间的黏结性。同时,指出每种改性的方法都存在一定的缺陷。  相似文献

为了改善碳纤维/聚芳基乙炔复合材料的界面性能,采用表面氧化、表面接枝、偶联剂、表面涂层等方法对碳纤维进行表面处理,探讨了各种方法对非极性聚芳基乙炔树脂基复合材料的界面改性效果。研究表明,纤维表面氧化处理后有利于碳纤维/聚芳基乙炔复合材料界面性能的改善,在此基础上通过表面接枝及表面偶联剂处理在纤维表面引入可与基体树脂发生反应的基团,可以达到非极性树脂基复合材料界面改性的目的。极性的高碳酚醛树脂可以更好地浸润氧化后的纤维表面,并且与聚芳基乙炔树脂在结构上相似,因此作为涂层处理纤维表面后可以明显提高材料的界面性能,该方法适于进行3D织物的改性处理,是较为理想的处理方案。  相似文献

为改善玄武岩纤维的织造性能及其复合材料的界面性能,本文采用表面偶联剂结合乳液型浆料上浆的方法对纤维进行表面处理,研究表明,采用乳液型浆料处理后,玄武岩纤维的织造性能得到显著改善,在上浆处理前对纤维进行表面偶联剂处理,可使玄武岩纤维/环氧复合材料的界面性能得到明显提高,从而实现了纤维织造性能与复合材料界面力学性能的共同改善。  相似文献

综述了植物纤维表面改性的主要方法及特点,其中物理改性包括热处理、静放电处理、蒸汽爆破处理等,化学法改性包括表面接枝法、表面活性剂法、碱处理法、酯化处理法、界面偶联剂法等。最后,讨论了纤维表面改性的发展趋势和研究方向,指出蒸汽爆破处理和低温等离子体处理是未来很有前景的纤维表面改性方法。  相似文献

采用碱处理、偶联剂处理以及碱–偶联剂复合处理对洋麻纤维进行表面改性,然后将其与聚丙烯(PP)纤维复合,采用非织造–模压工艺制备了PP/洋麻纤维复合材料。研究了上述3种表面改性方法对洋麻纤维强度及其复合材料弯曲与剪切性能的影响,并采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)研究了洋麻纤维表面改性前后的形貌变化及其与PP基体之间的界面结合状况。结果表明,表面改性后洋麻纤维的拉伸强度均降低,但复合材料的弯曲强度及层间剪切强度均提高,表明这3种改性方法均提高了洋麻纤维与PP之间的界面结合强度;碱处理可去除纤维表面的果胶成分,使纤维束变得松散,使复合材料的弯曲强度及层间剪切强度分别较未表面改性时提高了21%和169%,但弯曲弹性模量降低了21%;偶联剂处理则使复合材料的弯曲强度,弯曲弹性模量和层间剪切强度较未表面改性时提高了23%,7%和160%;碱–偶联剂复合处理兼顾了碱处理和偶联剂处理的优点,使复合材料弯曲强度、弯曲弹性模量和层间剪切强度分别较未表面改性时提高了26%,18%和572%,综合性能最佳。SEM结果表明,碱–偶联剂复合处理后,复合材料中纤维与树脂之间的界面结合较好。  相似文献

简介了超高相对分子质量聚乙烯纤维的性能与应用,重点阐述了低温等离子处理法、辐照接枝改性法、化学氧化法和电晕放电法4种常用的对超高相对分子质量聚乙烯纤维改性方法的研究情况。综述表明,无论采用以上任何一种改性方法,都能相应有效改善纤维的表面性能,提高纤维与其它材质间的粘接性。  相似文献

经KH550改性的纳米SiO2粒子(150 nm),能够稳定分散在玄武岩纤维涂层浆料中,对浆料的粒径及表面张力影响不大。玄武岩纤维表面经改性纳米SiO2改性后,有效地改善了纤维表面粗糙度,使断裂强力提高18.75%,层间剪切强度提高18.76%。纳米SiO2改性的玄武岩连续纤维及其复合材料断面SEM分析表明,玄武岩连续纤维表面均匀涂覆一层纳米SiO2颗粒,使玄武岩连续纤维与环氧树脂的界面相容性大大提高,复合材料断面非常整齐。改性纳米SiO2在玄武岩纤维及环氧树脂之间起桥梁作用。  相似文献

为了改善纤维与水泥之间的界面粘接效果,采用低温等离子处理对碳纤维表面进行改性,将改性后掺量为0.2%(质量分数)的碳纤维加入到水泥基体中,通过抗折性能测试、渗透性实验和微观形貌观察,研究碳纤维对水泥基体性能影响和纤维与水泥基体粘接情况。结果表明:经等离子处理60 s后,碳纤维氮吸附能力显著增强,氮吸附值达到50 m~2/kg。红外光谱羰基吸收峰显著增强,表明碳纤维表面形成了羰基。X射线光电子能谱分析也证实了碳纤维表面羰基的存在。三轴测试表明改性后水泥石韧性提高。孔径测试显示掺入等离子改性碳纤维后水泥石内部孔径变小,结构密实。SEM观察发现等离子改性后,碳纤维与水泥基界面粘接作用加强。  相似文献

Despite its industrial importance, the subject of freeze-thaw (F/T) stability of latex coatings has not been studied extensively. There is also a lack of fundamental understanding about the process and the mechanisms through which a coating becomes destabilized. High pressure (2100 bar) freezing fixes the state of water-suspended particles of polymer binder and inorganic pigments without the growth of ice crystals during freezing that produce artifacts in direct imaging scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of fracture surfaces of frozen coatings. We show that by incorporating copolymerizable functional monomers, it is possible to achieve F/T stability in polymer latexes and in low-VOC paints, as judged by the microstructures revealed by the cryogenic SEM technique. Particle coalescence as well as pigment segregation in F/T unstable systems are visualized. In order to achieve F/T stability in paints, latex particles must not flocculate and should provide protection to inorganic pigment and extender particles. Because of the unique capabilities of the cryogenic SEM, we are able to separate the effects of freezing and thawing, and study the influence of the rate of freezing and thawing on F/T stability. Destabilization can be caused by either freezing or thawing. A slow freezing process is more detrimental to F/T stability than a fast freezing process; the latter actually preserves suspension stability during freezing. In 2002–2004, we examined the flight responses of 49 species of native and exotic bark and ambrosia beetles (Coleoptera: Scolytidae and Platypodidae) to traps baited with ethanol and/or (−)-α-pinene in the southeastern US. Eight field trials were conducted in mature pine stands in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Funnel traps baited with ethanol lures (release rate, about 0.6 g/day at 25–28°C) were attractive to ten species of ambrosia beetles (Ambrosiodmus tachygraphus, Anisandrus sayi, Dryoxylon onoharaensum, Monarthrum mali, Xyleborinus saxesenii, Xyleborus affinis, Xyleborus ferrugineus, Xylosandrus compactus, Xylosandrus crassiusculus, and Xylosandrus germanus) and two species of bark beetles (Cryptocarenus heveae and Hypothenemus sp.). Traps baited with (−)-α-pinene lures (release rate, 2–6 g/day at 25–28°C) were attractive to five bark beetle species (Dendroctonus terebrans, Hylastes porculus, Hylastes salebrosus, Hylastes tenuis, and Ips grandicollis) and one platypodid ambrosia beetle species (Myoplatypus flavicornis). Ethanol enhanced responses of some species (Xyleborus pubescens, H. porculus, H. salebrosus, H. tenuis, and Pityophthorus cariniceps) to traps baited with (−)-α-pinene in some locations. (−)-α-Pinene interrupted the response of some ambrosia beetle species to traps baited with ethanol, but only the response of D. onoharaensum was interrupted consistently at most locations. Of 23 species of ambrosia beetles captured in our field trials, nine were exotic and accounted for 70–97% of total catches of ambrosia beetles. Our results provide support for the continued use of separate traps baited with ethanol alone and ethanol with (−)-α-pinene to detect and monitor common bark and ambrosia beetles from the southeastern region of the US.  相似文献

Halyomorpha halys (Stål) (Pentatomidae), called the brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB), is a newly invasive species in the eastern USA that is rapidly spreading from the original point of establishment in Allentown, PA. In its native range, the BMSB is reportedly attracted to methyl (E,E,Z)-2,4,6-decatrienoate, the male-produced pheromone of another pentatomid common in eastern Asia, Plautia stali Scott. In North America, Thyanta spp. are the only pentatomids known to produce methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoate [the (E,Z,Z)-isomer] as part of their pheromones. Methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoates were field-tested in Maryland to monitor the spread of the BMSB and to explore the possibility that Thyanta spp. are an alternate host for parasitic tachinid flies that use stink bug pheromones as host-finding kairomones. Here we report the first captures of adult and nymph BMSBs in traps baited with methyl (E,E,Z)-2,4,6-decatrienoate in central Maryland and present data verifying that the tachinid, Euclytia flava (Townsend), exploits methyl (E,Z,Z)-2,4,6-decatrienoate as a kairomone. We also report the unexpected finding that various isomers of methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoate attract Acrosternum hilare (Say), although this bug apparently does not produce methyl decatrienoates. Other stink bugs and tachinids native to North America were also attracted to methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoates. These data indicate there are Heteroptera in North America in addition to Thyanta spp. that probably use methyl 2,4,6-decatrienoates as pheromones. The evidence that some pentatomids exploit the pheromones of other true bugs as kairomones to find food or to congregate as a passive defense against tachinid parasitism is discussed.  相似文献
