在OFDMA系统中,通过为每个用户分配不同的子载波可以实现并行数据传输.采用Interleaved子载波分配方法可以提高频率分集和系统容量,但是发射机和接收机之间的载波频率偏移会破坏子载波间的正交性,从而导致本用户的载波间干扰(ICI)以及用户间干扰(MUI).本文提出了一种基于子空间的两阶段频偏搜索方法,该方法只采用一个OFDMA符号块就可以实现Interleaved-OFDMA上行链路多个用户频偏的联合估计,并且不需要知道接入的用户个数及用户所占用的子信道,因此适用于随机分配子信道的情况.仿真结果验证了算法的精确度和有效性.  相似文献

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems are more sensitive to carrier frequency offset (CFO) compared to the conventional single carrier systems. CFO destroys the orthogonality among subcarriers, resulting in inter-carrier interference (ICI) and degrading system performance. To mitigate the effect of the CFO, it has to be estimated and compensated before the demodulation. The CFO can be divided into an integer part and a fractional part. In this paper, we investigate a maximum-likelihood estimator (MLE) for estimating the integer part of the CFO in OFDM systems, which requires only one OFDM block as the pilot symbols. To reduce the computational complexity of the MLE and improve the bandwidth efficiency, a suboptimum estimator (Sub MLE) is studied. Based on the hypothesis testing method, a threshold Sub MLE (T-Sub MLE) is proposed to further reduce the computational complexity. The performance analysis of the proposed T-Sub MLE is obtained and the analytical results match the simulation results well. Numerical results show that the proposed estimators are effective and reliable in both additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and frequency-selective fading channels in OFDM systems.

In high mobility Orthogonal-frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, time-varying channels destroy the orthogonality among subcarriers and theresultant Intercarrier interference (ICI) degrades the receiver performance. To obtain an effective balance of performance and complexity at the receiver, we proposed tosplit the Channel frequency response (CFR) matrix into asequence of submatrices rather than using the whole CFRmatrix. Then, we derived a soft information based sequentially iterative Minimum mean square error (MMSE)equalizer, which fully exploits the ICI distribution property. Analysis and simulations demonstrate that thisscheme provides a flexible and controllable approach totrade off performance for complexity, since it can be simplydone by choosing different size of the parameter Q. Meanwhile, superior ability of the ICI suppression is maintainedwhen compared with previous equalization schemes. Thisfeature indicates its potential application for future wireless communications.  相似文献

This paper analyses and compares the average bit error rate (BER) of different multiuser detectors (MUD) in the uplink of a multicarrier code- division multiple access (MC-CDMA) system. In particular, maximum likelihood, zero-forcing, minimum mean-square error and interference cancellation-based multiuser detectors have been analysed for the special case of uncorrelated subcarriers. The derived BER expressions are based upon previous results on diversity combining and also on recent findings on multiple input multiple output (MIMO) architectures. The subcarrier correlation is considered in the context of physical parameters currently under discussion for future wireless systems to give an indication up to what extent the assumption of uncorrelated subcarrier fading is plausible.  相似文献

This paper investigated the subcarrier allocation problem in Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access (OFDMA) system, which is crucial to realize the multiplexing access of users and improvement of system performance. In modern communication system with increasing rich multimedia contents, users require different target data rates corresponding to various kinds of services. Therefore, the proportionality of data rates among users poses a challenge for the traditional subcarrier allocation methods for OFDMA system. To achieve the proportional fairness among users, this paper proposed a novel subcarrier allocation scheme based on Hungarian method. Moreover, the proposed scheme was further improved in two ways-subset based and group based allocatlon-to achieve even better performance in terms of proportionality and computational complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can offer more accurate proportional distribution of capacity among users and the computational complexity could be reduced with small performance degradation.  相似文献

This paper deals with Carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation for Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. A Rayleigh fiat-fading channel model is considered and spatial correlation among channels corresponding to different pairs of transmit and receive antennas is taken into account. A Data-aided (DA) Maximum likelihood (ML)CFO estimator based on the marginal likeli- hood function is proposed. It can exploit spatial diversity and make use of the knowledge of spatial correlation by averaging the conditional likelihood function over all realizations of the channel. The Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) for the problem is derived as a benchmark. Simulation results are given to illustrate the performance of the pro- posed estimator. It is shown that its performance is close to the CRB at high Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) region and improved with decrease of the spatial correlation and in- crease of the number of receive antennas.  相似文献

A new family of multistage low-complexity linear receivers for direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) communications is introduced. The objective of the proposed design is to mitigate the effect of multiple access interference (MAI), the most significant limiting factor of user capacity in the conventional DS-CDMA channel. The receivers presented here employ joint detection of multiple users and therefore require knowledge of all the signature codes and their timing. In addition, for a multipath environment, reliable estimates of the received powers and phases are assumed available for maximal ratio RAKE combining. Each stage of the underlying design recreates the overall modulation, noiseless channel, and demodulation process. The outputs of these stages are then linearly combined. The combining weights can be chosen to implement different linear detectors, including the decorrelating and minimum mean square error (MMSE) detectors. In this paper, we focus on implementing the MMSE detector.
