A power amplifier is used to supply sinusoidal currents of different frequencies for measuring eddy-current losses of a 25 kVA single-phase transformer under short-circuit condition. Measured data show that eddy-current loss is a linear function of frequency with power of 2 and the eddy-current loss coefficient PEC-Rlinear is computed. New measurement techniques are applied to determine the derating of single-phase transformers with full-wave diode and thyristor rectifier loads. The derating of transformers has been defined such that for the (apparent, real) power transfer of a transformer the total losses are identical to the rated losses at rated temperature. A relation between apparent power, derating and K-factor is given taking into account iron-core and stray-power losses. Measured derating values are compared with computed results based on the eddy-current losses, iron-core losses, stray-power losses, and K-factors. With the progress of superconducting wires for ac power use, research on superconducting power transformers is increasing. These transformers can be divided into two types: the iron-core type [1, 2]; and the air-core type [3–9]. The latter type has such advantages as absence of iron losses and magnetic saturation, and greater possibility of reduction of size and weight. However, the air-core transformer has a large magnetizing current due to the absence of iron core. Hence, research has been carried out on the possibility of using the air-core transformer also as a shunt reactor in a power transmission system. However, the operating characteristics of the air-core transformer, such as voltage regulation and reactance voltage, are not clear at present. In this paper, the equivalent circuit without losses is proposed first. Since this equivalent circuit is expressed by means of the magnetic coupling factor and self-inductances of windings, the effect of these parameters on the transformer characteristics can easily be investigated. Then, based on this equivalent circuit, the per-unit expressions for the air-core transformer characteristics are derived and the characteristics are analyzed in detail. The validity of the theoretical results are confirmed by experimental results obtained by the use of an experimental superconducting transformer.  相似文献

The problem of modifying the harmonic power flow analysis to permit the inclusion of nonlinear anisotropic transformers and computation of their iron-core (and copper) losses are discussed. The nonlinear model used for transformers is capable of simulating saturation of iron-cores, anisotropy of laminations, and the iron-core and copper losses associated with anisotropic transformers, but simple enough to be included in the harmonic power flow algorithm without deteriorating its convergence properties. The dependency of iron-core losses on the maximum value of the total (fundamental and harmonic) flux density and the fact that iron-core losses are a function of the waveform of the induced voltage-that is its harmonic phase shifts with respect to the fundamental phase angle-are included. The induced voltage is transformed from frequency domain to time domain: the instantaneous induced voltage and the computed λ-i characteristics are employed to compute the instantaneous magnetizing and core-loss currents. Thereafter a transformation is made from time domain back to frequency domain to compute the fundamental and harmonic components of the above-mentioned currents. Therefore, transformer harmonic couplings are properly modeled and included in the analysis. The modified harmonic load flow formulation is applied to a balanced three-phase feeder consisting of a grounded-wye, grounded-wye nonlinear anisotropic transformer and linear and nonlinear loads  相似文献

接触式温度传感器应用于成套开关设备,其前端电源的获取是一个主要问题。笔者利用磁饱和原理,在开关柜母线上安装一电流互感器,使其铁心在小电流时正常励磁,大电流时磁饱和,并通过计算确定其尺寸,研制了满足功率和电压要求的前端电源,从而为后端的接触式传感器和温度在线监测系统提供了稳定、不间断的电源。  相似文献

针对10 kV变电站谐波污染问题,提出了一种将特定次滤波电感集成于配电变压器中的技术方案,避免了传统无源滤波装置中空心电抗器占用空间大或铁心电抗器噪音严重的缺点。首先分析了将滤波电感集成于变压器中的解耦技术;然后对某一容量800 kVA的样机进行有限元仿真,理论分析降阶电感矩阵法,计算出变压器绕组间耦合度和电感矩阵,并以电感矩阵为接口进行系统的场路耦合仿真;最后对样机滤波效果进行实验测试。仿真和实验结果表明:集成滤波电感配电变压器能达到很好的谐波抑制与无功补偿效果,且集成滤波电抗器具有与变压器其它绕组低耦合、占用空间较小、不增加噪音等特点。  相似文献
