In this work, it was found that crosslinked chitosan (CCTS) had strong adsorption ability for some anions under certain conditions. Cr(VI) and Se(VI) existed in anion forms in aqueous solution, and their adsorption rates by CCTS were 97% for Cr(VI) at pH 3.0 and 95% for Se(VI) at pH 4.0. In addition, the adsorption balance time and isotherm of CCTS for Cr(VI) and Se (VI) were discussed and adsorption mechanism was explained. This research will be useful for designing CCTS‐based adsorption for metallic toxin removal and preconcentrating Cr(VI) and Se(VI) in their trace analysis. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. In this work, the adsorption properties of crosslinked chitosan for Mo(VI) were studied. The adsorption rate of Mo(VI) by CCTS was 97% at pH 3.0. Adsorption balance time, elution conditions, the effect of coexisting elements, and the adsorption mechanism were investigated. A novel method of ultratrace Mo(VI) preconcentration with CCTS and determination by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry was found. The detection limit (3σ, n = 10) of the method was 0.040 μg L?1, and the relative standard deviation was 2.98% at 1.00 μg L?1. 采用水热合成法制备了疏水性介孔二氧化硅材料(MCM-41-dry)并经煅烧制得亲水性介孔二氧化硅材料(MCM-41-cal).试验探讨了pH值、吸附时间、投加量以及U(VI)初始浓度等因素对MCM-41材料煅烧前后吸附U(VI)效果的影响,利用SEM、EDS、BET和FTIR分析其吸附机理.试验结果表明, MCM-41-dry材料因具有有机模板剂,其吸附效果远高于MCM-41-cal的吸附效果;当pH值为5,吸附时间为180 min,温度为30 ℃,MCM-41-dry投加量为0.2 g/L,U(VI)初始浓度为10 mg/L时,其对U(VI)的吸附率可达99.2%;Langmuir吸附等温模型和准二级动力学方程能较好的拟合其吸附过程,当T=303 K时,理论饱和吸附量为241.935 mg/g,吸附为单分子层吸附,以化学吸附为主.通过BET、FTIR表征则说明MCM-41-dry具有六方形介孔结构能吸附U(VI),官能团羟基和氨基发挥了很大的作用.  相似文献

The adsorption behaviors between Cr (VI) and crosslinked cationic starch with quaternary ammonium group were investigated in various conditions. The adsorption processes are found to be dependent on the initial pH of the solution, the dose of the absorbents, initial concentration of Cr (VI), and adsorption temperature. The adsorption reaches equilibrium in a short time, and follows the Langmuir isotherm. The adsorption capacity increases with the increasing cationic groups. The adsorption thermodynamics study shows that adsorption processes are exothermic, and lower temperature is favorable to the adsorption of Cr (VI).  相似文献

Although the biosorption of single metal ions to various microorganisms has been extensively studied and adsorption isotherms have been developed for single metal ion situations, very little attention has been given to the bioremoval and the expression of the adsorption isotherms of multi-metal ions systems. In this study, the competitive biosorption of iron(III) and chromium(VI) to Chlorella vulgaris from a binary metal mixture was studied and compared with the single metal ion situation in a batch stirred system. The effects of pH and single and dual metal ion concentrations on the biosorption rates and equilibrium uptakes were investigated. The optimum biosorption pH for both metal ions was determined as 2·0. Multi-metal ion biosorption studies were also performed at this pH value. It was observed that the biosorption rates and yields and equilibrium uptakes of iron(III) or chromium(VI) ions were reduced by the presence of increasing concentrations of the other metal ion. Adsorption isotherms developed for both single and dual metal ion systems at the optimum pH were expressed by the non-competitive and competitive Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models, and model parameters were determined by computer. It was seen that the adsorption equilibrium data fitted very well to both of the models in the concentration ranges studied. ©1997 SCI  相似文献

Poly(ethylene glycol dimethacrylate‐1‐vinyl‐1,2,4‐triazole) [poly(EGDMA‐VTAZ)] beads (average diameter = 150–200 μm) were prepared by copolymerizing ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) with 1‐vinyl‐1,2,4‐triazole (VTAZ). Poly(EGDMA‐VTAZ) beads were characterized by swelling studies and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The adsorption of Cr(VI) from solutions was carried at different contact times, Cr(VI) concentrations, pH, and temperatures. High adsorption rates were achieved in about 240 min. The amount of Cr(VI) adsorbed increased with increasing concentration and decreasing pH and temperature. The intraparticle diffusion rate constants at various temperatures were calculated. Adsorption isotherms of Cr(VI) onto poly(EGDMA‐VTAZ) have been determined and correlated with common isotherm equations such as Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The Langmuir isotherm model appeared to fit the isotherm data better than the Freundlich isotherm model. The pseudo first‐order kinetic model was used to describe the kinetic data. The study of temperature effect was quantified by calculating various thermodynamic parameters such as Gibbs free energy, enthalpy, and entropy changes. The dimensionless separation factor (RL) showed that the adsorption of metal ions onto poly(EGDMA‐VTAZ) was favorable. It was seen that values of distribution coefficient (KD) decreasing with Cr(VI) concentration in solution at equilibrium (Ce) indicated that the occupation of activate surface sites of adsorbent increased with Cr(VI). © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 杨梅单宁先与氯化亚砜反应制得氯代单宁,再与聚乙烯亚胺交联合成单宁基酚胺型螯合树脂。通过FTIR、SEM、EDS和XPS对单宁基酚胺型螯合树脂的结构进行表征,并考察了螯合树脂对Cr(VI)的吸附性能。在单宁的分子结构侧链引入氨基,能有效改善单宁基螯合树脂对Cr(VI)的吸附性能,螯合树脂对Cr(VI)的吸附主要为还原吸附,铬主要以Cr(III)的形式吸附到树脂上;在温度为318 K、pH为2.0、Cr(VI)初始质量浓度为500 mg/L时,单宁基酚胺型螯合树脂对Cr(VI)的最大吸附量达到364.46 mg/g;当Cr(VI)初始质量浓度低于20 mg/L时,树脂对铬的吸附率达到95%以上;单宁基酚胺型螯合树脂对Cr(VI)的吸附过程符合Langmuir等温吸附模型和准二级吸附动力学方程。该树脂在含铬废水处理方面具有潜在的应用前景。  相似文献

The magnetic poly-(methacrylate-divinyl benzene) microspheres with micron size were synthesized by modified suspension polymerization method.Adsorption of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution by magnetic poly-(MA-DVB) microspheres with surface amination was investigated.The adsorption processes were carried out under diversified conditions of pH value,adsorption time and temperature to evaluate the performance of the mag-netic microspheres.The optimum pH value for Cr(VI) adsorption was found as 3.The adsorption capacity increased with adsorption time and attained an optimum at 60 min.The adsorption processes for magnetic microspheres was endothermic reaction,and the adsorption capacity increased with increasing temperature.  相似文献

The removal mechanisms of Cr(VI) from water using different types of activated carbons, produced from coconut shell, wood and dust coal, were investigated in this project. Different types of activated carbons have different surface characteristics. The coconut shell and dust coal activated carbons have protonated hydroxyl groups on the surface (H‐type carbons), while the surface of the wood‐based activated carbon has ionised hydroxyl groups (L‐type carbons). The adsorption kinetics of chromium onto the activated carbons at pH values ranging from 2 to 6 were investigated. It was found that the optimum pH to remove total chromium was 2 for wood‐based activated carbon, while for coconut shell and dust coal activated carbons, the optimum pH was around 3–4. The difference in the optimum pH for different activated carbons to remove Cr(VI) from water can be explained by the different surface characteristics and capacity of the activated carbons to reduce Cr(VI) to Cr(III). © 1999 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

An investigation was conducted with a newly developed adsorbent, iron(III)- coordinated amino-functionalized poly(glycidylmethacrylate)-grafted TiO2-densified cellulose (Fe(III)-AM-PGDC) on the removal of chromium(VI) from aqueous solution. Batch experiments were performed under various conditions of time, pH, concentration, dose, ionic strength, and temperature. Adsorption of Cr(VI) on Fe(III)-AM-PGDC was dominated by ion exchange or outer-sphere complexation. The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 109.76 mg g?1. Thermodynamic study showed that adsorption of Cr(VI) onto Fe(III)-AM-PGDC is more favored. The complete removal of Cr(VI) from electroplating wastewater was achieved by the adsorbent. The adsorbent did not lose its adsorption capacity even after the fourth regeneration.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Phosphoric acid-activated peanut shells (PS) were prepared by hydrothermal treatment at 200–800 °C and denoted as peanut shell-activated carbons (PACs). The PACs were characterized as adsorbent for removing U(VI) from aqueous solutions. The U(VI) adsorption on PACs follows the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation and the Langmuir model. The adsorption capacity depends on solution pH and ionic strength and PAC-800 exhibits the highest adsorption capacity. The increasing U(VI) adsorption could be attributed to C = OOH groups and delocalized π electrons as sorption sites by surface complexation and ion exchange. Therefore, PACs as economic adsorbents could potentially remove U(VI) from aqueous solutions.  相似文献

采用溶剂热合成法在制备MIL-101(Fe)的过程中引入杂多酸H_6P_2W_(18)O_(62),制备出吸附剂H_6P_2W_(18)O_(62)/MIL-101(Fe),并测试了其对亚甲基蓝(MB)的吸附性能。考察了H_6P_2W_(18)O_(62)的负载量、MB质量浓度、溶液pH、温度等对材料的吸附性能。通过XRD、SEM、FTIR、N2吸附-脱附等手段对材料进行表征。结果表明:吸附平衡前,吸附量随MB质量浓度的增加而增加,在溶液pH=4、H_6P_2W_(18)O_(62)负载量相对于复合物质量分数为35%的条件下,吸附剂H_6P_2W_(18)O_(62)/MIL-101(Fe)对亚甲基蓝溶液吸附效果最佳,在303K下H_6P_2W_(18)O_(62)/MIL-101(Fe)对MB的最大吸附量可达148.1 mg/g。通过动力学和热力学分析,该吸附过程符合拟二级动力学与Langmuir等温吸附模型,同时是一个吸热、自发的过程。  相似文献

实验合成了一种焙烧态Ca-Mg-Al类水滑石,通过吸附动力学、吸附热力学及pH值的影响实验研究其对As (V)的吸附性能;并通过X射线衍射(XRD)、比表面积及孔径(BET)、场发射扫面电子显微镜(FESEM)、傅里叶红外光谱(FTIR)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)等测试对合成材料进行表征并分析其吸附机理.实验结果表明,焙烧态Ca-Mg-Al 类水滑石对As(V)具有较强的吸附能力,其最大吸附量为71.86 mg/g,其吸附行为较符合Freundlich吸附等温方程和准一级动力学方程,且在不同的pH值下均能保持较好的吸附能力.焙烧态Ca-Mg-Al 类水滑石吸附As(V)的吸附机理主要包括类水滑石晶体结构的重建以及其表面羟基官能团的络合作用.  相似文献

文章对改性粉煤灰处理含铬(VI)废水进行了研究。通过实验考察了改性粉煤灰加入量、吸附时间、吸附温度和废水的pH对废水中铬(VI)去除率的影响。实验结果表明,改性粉煤灰处理含铬(Ⅵ)废水的最佳工艺条件为:改性粉煤灰加入量为1.5g,吸附时间为10min,吸附温度为25℃,废水的pH为6.0。在此条件下可使50mL模拟含铬废水中铬(VI)浓度由10mg/L降到0.47mg/L,铬(VI)去除率达95%以上,达到了国家《污水综合排放标准》。  相似文献

以板栗苞为原料,经过磷酸改性后制备改性板栗苞吸附材料,并用于重金属Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附研究。研究了pH值、吸附时间、吸附剂用量和温度对改性板栗苞吸附Cr(Ⅵ)活性的影响,采用Freundlich和Langmuir等温吸附方程对等温吸附过程进行拟合。结果表明:Cr(Ⅵ)的质量浓度为10mg/L时,改性板栗苞的最佳吸附条件为pH值4,吸附时间2h,改性板栗苞用量0.2g,温度45℃,在此条件下,改性板栗苞对Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附率可达99.33%。等温吸附过程符合Langmuir方程,说明改性板栗苞对Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附为单分子层吸附。通过FT-IR表征可以发现:吸附后的改性板栗苞的基团没有发生变化,说明改性板栗苞对Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附主要是物理吸附。通过SEM表征发现:改性板栗苞比未改性板栗苞的表面更光滑、空间更大,说明磷酸使得改性板栗苞附着的杂质被去除,褶皱铺展开,孔隙结构更发达,有利于对Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附。  相似文献

The magnetic nitrogen-doped carbon (MNC) was prepared from polypyrrole by a simple high temperature calcination process in this paper. The structure and properties of MNC were analyzed by scanning electron microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Brunner-Emmet-Teller, vibrating sample magnetometer, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The capacity of MNC to adsorb Cr(VI) and Pb(II) was evaluated. The effects of the initial pH, dosage, concentration and temperature on the adsorption capacity of MNC were measured. MNC had a large specific surface area and a special porous structure. Its nitrogen and carbon sources were rich, and the ratio of carbon to nitrogen was fixed. The maximum Cr(VI)-adsorption capacity and maximum Pb(II) adsorption capacity of MNC could reach 456.63 and 507.13 mg∙g1 at 318 K, respectively. The pseudo-second-order model was used to describe the adsorption kinetics of MNC, and the Freundlich model was employed to discuss its isotherms. The adsorption process was affected by the electrostatic force, the reducing reaction, pores and chelation. The results of this study suggest that MNC is a material with superior performance, and is very easily regenerated, reused, and separated in the adsorption process.  相似文献

The adsorption of uranium (VI) on the manganese oxide coated zeolite (MOCZ) from aqueous solution was investigated in a fixed-bed column. The experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of bed height, flow rate, particle size, initial concentration of uranium (VI), initial pH, presence of salt and competitive ions. The U-uptake by MOCZ increased with initial uranium (VI) concentration and bed height, but decreased as the flow rate and particle size increased. In the presence of salt and competitive ions, the breakthrough time was shorter. The ad-sorption capacity reached a maximum at pH of 6.3. The Thomas model was applied to the experimental data to de-termine the characteristic parameters of the column for process design using linear regression. The breakthrough curves calculated from the model were in good agreement with the experimental data. The BDST model was used to study the influence of bed height on the adsorption of uranium (VI). Desorption of uranium (VI) in the MOCZ column was investigated. The column could be used for at least four adsorption-desorption cycles using 0.1 mol•L-1 NaHCO3 solution as the elution. After desorption and regeneration with deionized water, MOCZ could be reused to adsorb uranium (VI) at a comparable capacity. Compared to raw zeolite, MOCZ showed better capacity for uranium (VI) removal.  相似文献

A novel adsorbent: Fe2+-modified vermiculite was prepared in a two-step reaction. Adsorption experiments were carried out as a function of pH, contact time, and concentration of Cr(VI). It was found that Fe2+-modified vermiculite was particularly effective for the removal of Cr(VI) at pH 1.0. The adsorption of Cr(VI) reached equilibrium within 60 min, and the pseudo-second-order kinetic model best described the adsorption kinetics. The adsorption data follow the Langmuir model more than the Freundlich model. At pH 1.0, the maximum Cr(VI) sorption capacity (Q max ) was 87.72 mg · g?1. Desorption of Cr(VI) from Fe2+-modified vermiculite using NaOH treatment exhibited a higher desorption efficiency by more than 80%. The sorption mechanisms including electrostatic interaction and reduction were involved in the Cr (VI) removal. The results showed that Fe2+-modified vermiculite can be used as a new adsorbent for Cr(VI) removal which has a higher adsorption capacity and a faster adsorption rate.  相似文献

Activated carbon/chitosan composite has been used as an adsorbent to remove aniline and Cr(VI) ions from aqueous solutions simultaneously. The effects of preparation conditions such as the ratio of activated carbon to chitosan, crosslinking reagents, crosslinking time, and adsorption conditions including adsorbent dosage, pH value of solution, and contact time on simultaneous adsorption of aniline and Cr(VI) ion were investigated. Experimental results showed that epichlorohydrin was the proper crosslinking reagent, and the ratio of activated carbon to chitosan was kept at 1. When the adsorbent dosage was 4.0 g/L, and the concentrations of aniline and Cr(VI) were lower than 50 and 100 mg/L, respectively, both aniline and Cr(VI) were simultaneously removed at natural pH with high removals (>95%). The presence of Cr(VI) enhanced the adsorption of aniline, while the presence of aniline almost had no influence on the adsorption of Cr(VI). The adsorption processes of both aniline and Cr(VI) followed the pseudo‐second‐order kinetics model, but the sorption of Cr(VI) was preferential to that of aniline by this composite. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
