Coplanar waveguide-fed uniplanar bow-tie antenna   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The design of coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed bow-tie antenna for the 2.4-GHz ISM band is described. A coplanar waveguide-to-coplanar strips (CPW-to-CPS) balun is used to obtain the balanced feed line for the printed bow-tie. An analysis method based on the mixed potential integral equation method is used to characterize the input characteristics of the bow-tie antenna. The numerical results obtained are in good agreement with the experimental data. Through experiments with bow-tie antennas of various extended angles, the bow-tie antenna with a 90° extended angle exhibits the widest bandwidth in the desired frequency band which has a bandwidth of 17% for a VSWR <1.5:1  相似文献

本文应用互补天线的原理,通过采用蝶形平面天线作为电偶极子,采用垂直壁与接地面作为等效磁偶极子,设计了一种新颖的蝶形宽频带天线.该天线实现了62%的相对带宽(1.52-2.89GHz,S11<-10dB),在工作频段内具有稳定的波瓣图,优于-30dB的交叉极化和超过18dB的前后比.  相似文献

A bow-tie slot antenna fed by CPW is introduced. It is designed to work in the Ku-band around 15.5 GHz. The proposed antenna is analysed both theoretically and experimentally. The presented results include the return loss and the radiation patterns. Two different geometries of the bow-tie antenna are presented and compared. The proposed antenna has several advantages such as a very large bandwidth, good control of its input impedance, and ease of fabrication. The proposed antenna has a dipole like radiation pattern which makes it suitable for mobile communication systems designed to work in the Ku-band  相似文献

传统形式上的微带贴片天线虽具有体积小、重量轻的特点,但窄带特性却制约了其工程应用的范围。在对曲边蝶形天线结构和特性理论分析的基础上,使用Ansoft公司的HFSS三维电磁场软件对其进行建模仿真,最终优化得出了在0.8~3.0GHz宽频带范围内都具有良好的辐射特性,且在工作带宽内VSWR<1.5的曲边蝶形微带天线,在小型化的基础上实现了微带天线的宽频带特性。  相似文献

该文研究了一种近似椭圆结构的超宽带偶极子天线。通过设计沿着振子向末端方向渐变的导体臂,可以有效地减小天线末端电流的反射,改善天线的输入阻抗特性,拓宽天线的带宽。由于没有采用任何加载措施,此天线相比电阻加载宽带天线具有更高的效率。采用三维电磁仿真软件对天线进行了分析和设计,根据设计结果实际制作了一副天线样机,并对其电压驻波比和辐射特性进行了测试,测试结果与仿真设计结果吻合良好。仿真结果和实验测试结果表明,该天线在很宽的工作频带内具有良好的阻抗特性和辐射特性。  相似文献

This article presents a theoretical and experimental study of the design of a miniaturized wideband dielectric-filled waveguide (DFW) antenna. The operational frequency is X band, i.e., 9.0⩽f⩽10.5 GHz. The desired bandwidth is 1.5 GHz. The antenna uses an air-gap matching network to reduce its high aperture reflection. In order to ease the integration with antenna circuits and to increase the bandwidth, two E-plane steps are used. The antenna is designed to have -3 dB beamwidths of 60° and 100° for the E- and H-plane patterns, respectively. An input reflection of less than -10 dB for the desired bandwidth is observed. The gain of the antenna is 7 dBi. A cross-polar level of less than -25 dB is achieved. A two-element bow-tie dipole antenna and a single-element bow-tie slot antenna fabricated on a high dielectric constant (εr=10.2) substrate are introduced for applications at millimetre-wave frequencies. 利用两个工作在不同频率的圆环型谐振式反射器设计了一款小型化、低剖面的"双频(UHF/S)辐射"宽带双定向蝶形天线.谐振式反射器在很宽的频带内具有"同相反射"的特点且无需周期结构,因此作为天线反射板时与天线间的距离远小于λ/4且面积较小.两个反射器大小不同且分别置于蝶形天线的上方和下方.虽然这两个反射器分别位于另一反射器的辐射(反射)方向上,但它们不会阻止彼此的辐射,因此所提出的天线在工作频带的UHF低频段与S高频段分别向+z轴与-z轴辐射.所设计的蝶形天线采用微带线从侧边馈电,避免了从天线背面馈电可能对天线辐射特性的影响.虽然该天线使用了上下两层反射器,其整体尺寸仅为0.45λ×0.4λ×0.2λ.天线的阻抗带宽超过100%,低频和高频的相对定向带宽(前后比> 5 dB)分别为58%和41.6%,具有良好的双频双定向性.  相似文献

A modified contour integral method coupled with segmentation method has been used, for the first time, to analyze both the Sierpinski fractal carpet (SFC) antennas of different orders and an SFC antenna with electromagnetic band gap (EBG) ground plane. The close agreement between the calculated and measured results for resonant frequencies and input return losses indicates that this technique can be used to accurately predict the impedance characteristic. A novel stacked microstrip Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna using the EBG ground plane is also presented. Comparing to an ordinary microstrip fractal antenna, which has a maximum bandwidth of approximately 2%, the proposed antenna has a higher input impedance bandwidth of nearly 9%. The radiation patterns of the proposed antenna are improved due to the removal of unwanted radiation caused by the surface wave. The experimental measurement results of the proposed antenna are presented in this paper.  相似文献

微测辐射热计利用热敏电阻对温度的敏感特性来实现红外探测,将光学天线场局域的能力应用于微测辐射热计,可以集中入射能量至热敏电阻,提高电阻的温度响应。基于这一思想设计了一种工作在红外波段的改进型蝶形光学天线,其中心场强最高可增强83 倍。采用了多物理分析方法,结合两种常用的热敏材料(铝和氧化钒)对耦合结构的电磁特性和热学特性进行了分析。结果显示,在1000 W/m2 的入射功率密度下,铝温升可达1.85 mK,氧化钒温升0.85 mK,与同类工作相比温度响应增强了数倍。该改进型蝶形光学天线可用于微测辐射热计提升红外探测效率,在高密度红外成像器件应用中发挥作用。  相似文献

The practical realization of Chu's minimum-sized antenna is investigated using self-complementary antennas. Rigorous bandwidth formulas for broadband antennas are derived for broadband antennas based on Chu's fundamental mode equivalent circuit. By comparing input impedances and radiation patterns, the fabricated self-complementary antenna used for Japan's ultra-wideband higher band (7.25-10.25 GHz) is found approximated by the minimum-sized antenna. Using the rigorous bandwidth formulas above, the fabricated antenna is shown to be smaller than the minimum-sized antenna. This breakthrough is achieved by using a more complicated matching circuit for broadband antennas instead of the single-stage inductor used in bandwidth estimation with the Q factor.  相似文献

A novel broadband stacked E-shaped patch antenna is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna has an input impedance bandwidth of about 38.41%, better than the conventional E-shaped microstrip patch antenna, which has an input impedance bandwidth of 33.8%. Through the use of the washer on the probe of the stacked patch antenna, the input impedance bandwidth is improved further to 44.9%. The radiation patterns are found to be relatively constant throughout the whole band. Comparisons of these antennas are presented in this paper.  相似文献

该文研究了一种工作在Ka波段共面波导(CPW)馈电缝隙耦合的蝶形贴片天线。耦合缝隙位于接地板上,而不需要额外的缝隙耦合层,使天线更易与电路相集成。耦合缝隙的存在改变了接地板上原有表面电流的分布,使电流沿着缝隙边缘流动,因此馈线与辐射源的电磁耦合效率得到提高。用有限元分析软件(Ansoft HFSS)对衬底厚度、贴片角度、耦合缝隙大小等参数变化时的天线性能进行了仿真。比较并分析了S11,增益等天线性能参数的变化规律,并在带宽最优的条件下给出了一组参数值,此时天线的工作频率为35.5GHz,带宽为1.22GHz,增益为6.38dB。  相似文献

The influence of a linear loading profile on a slitted bow-tie antenna is discussed. Improvements of the radiation characteristics are achieved by bending the antenna. Although the microstrip patch antenna has a number of advantages such as low-cost and light weight, its physical size is quite large at low microwave frequencies. The designs of multilayer miniature patch antennas with coaxial feed are presented. The first design is a rectangular two-layer patch antenna. Measured results and the results of a preliminary analysis are presented. The projection area of the two-layer patch antenna is kept the same as the single-layer rectangular patch antenna. The resonant frequency of the two-layer antenna is reduced by 50% and has bandwidth of 5%, which is wider than the single-layer rectangular patch antenna. In the second design, the upper patch is cut into a bow-tie shape. This results in a 60% reduction in resonant frequency and a 12% bandwidth. Both the two-layer rectangular and the two-layer bow-tie antennas have good radiation patterns, with cross-polarization level lower than the copolarization level by more than 20 dB  相似文献

We present on the relationship between the bow-tie antenna length and its THz spectral emission response. Three well-known approaches for predicting accurate antenna length for a given central frequency were utilized and their validity was experimentally tested. It is shown that the simple quasi-static approach compare to other approximations is valid for frequencies up to ~1.5 THz. The bow-tie THz photoconcudtive (PC) emitter designed using this approximation exhibits THz radiation having the most accurate central frequency compared to the design frequency. Interestingly, the THz PC emitter utilized from this design technique also possesses the optimum radiation bandwidth.  相似文献

This paper presents two design compact hexagonal monopole antennas for ultra-wideband applications. The two antennas are fed by a single microstrip line . The Zeland IE3D version 12 is employed for analysis at the frequency band of 4 to 14 GHz which has approved as a commercial UWB band. The experimental and simulation results exhibit good agreement together for antenna 1. The proposed antenna1 is able to achieve an impedance bandwidth about 111%. The proposed antenna2 is able to achieve an impedance bandwidth about (31.58%) for lower frequency and (62.54%) for upper frequency bandwidth. A simulated frequency notched band ranging from 6.05 GHz to 7.33 GHz and a measured frequency notched band ranging from 6.22 GHz to 8.99 GHz are achieved and gives one narrow band of axial ratio (1.43%). The proposed antennas can be used in wireless ultra-wideband (UWB) communications.  相似文献

An ultra broadband printed (UBP) antenna is presented which consists of a diplexer and two aperture stacked patch antennas. S-parameter theory is used to investigate the input impedance behavior of the UBP antenna. This antenna can produce a 10-dB return loss bandwidth of almost 120% with constant gain of 6.5 dB. A relatively uniform radiation pattern over the entire band was also achieved.  相似文献

基于CST软件设计了一种宽带平板天线,在由4个偶极子组成的阵列下方放置一块金属反射板形成定向天线,通过在平板上采用周期结构反射器来扩大天线的带宽,并结合这种方法,设计了工作在760 MHz~1220 MHz的大线,在此频段内VSWR <2,增益高达10.5 dBi.该天线的带宽很宽,且定向性很好,具有广阔的应用前景.  相似文献
