This paper presents an enhanced adaptive robust disturbance observer-based motion tracking control methodology. This control approach is established and investigated for a semi-automated hand-held ear surgical device for the treatment of Otitis Media with Effusion. The proposed control methodology is utilised for tracking a desired motion trajectory in the presence of unknown or uncertain system parameters, nonlinearities including hysteresis, and disturbances in the motion system. The stability of the control approach is analysed. The convergence of position and velocity tracking errors is proven theoretically. A precise tracking performance following desired motion trajectory is demonstrated in the experimental study. 相似文献

This paper investigates a backstepping sliding mode fault-tolerant tracking control problem for a hydro-turbine governing system with consideration of external disturbances, actuator faults and dead-zone input. To reduce the effects of the unknown random disturbances, the nonlinear disturbance observer is designed to identify and estimate the disturbance term. To drastically decrease the complexity of stability functions selection and controller design, the recursive processes of the backstepping technique are employed. Additionally, based on the nonlinear disturbance observer and the backstepping technique, the sliding mode fault-tolerant tracking control approach is developed for the hydro-turbine governing system (HTGS). The stability of HTGS is rigorously demonstrated through Lyapunov analysis which is capable to satisfy a tracking control performance. Finally, comprehensive simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control scheme. 相似文献

Asymptotic stabilization of a class of nonlinear systems with known constant long input delay is addressed in the presence of external disturbance by applying sliding mode control method. Modified prediction variable scheme is employed to compensate long delays in the input, where conventional prediction variable approaches cannot be employed. This is mainly due to the fact that the external disturbance appears in the prediction variable, which renders the controller dependent on the external disturbance. In order to tackle this problem, the nonlinear disturbance observer based predictor is used. A suitable disturbance observer is designed to estimate the external disturbance that appears in the prediction variable. Respected to some existing results, the prediction-based control for more general class of the nonlinear systems in the presence of external disturbance is the main contribution of this paper. Actuator and sensor delays exist in the most common dynamic systems. So, the proposed control scheme can be employed in many conventional systems. The simulation results indicate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed controller. 相似文献

For a class of systems who suffers from disturbances, an original output feedback sliding mode control method is presented based on a novel tracking error observer with disturbance estimator. The mathematical models of the systems are not required to be with high accuracy, and the disturbances can be vanishing or nonvanishing, while the bounds of disturbances are unknown. By constructing a differential sliding surface and employing reaching law approach, a sliding mode controller is obtained. On the basis of an extended disturbance estimator, a creative tracking error observer is produced. By using the observation of tracking error and the estimation of disturbance, the sliding mode controller is implementable. It is proved that the disturbance estimation error and tracking observation error are bounded, the sliding surface is reachable and the closed-loop system is robustly stable. The simulations on a servomotor positioning system and a five-degree-of-freedom active magnetic bearings system verify the effect of the proposed method. 相似文献

This paper presents a systematic modeling and control methodology for a two-dimensional flexure beam-based servo stage supporting micro/nano manipulations. Compared with conventional mechatronic systems, such systems have major control challenges including cross-axis coupling, dynamical uncertainties, as well as input saturations, which may have adverse effects on system performance unless effectively eliminated. A novel disturbance observer-based adaptive backstepping-like control approach is developed for high precision servo manipulation purposes, which effectively accommodates model uncertainties and coupling dynamics. An auxiliary system is also introduced, on top of the proposed control scheme, to compensate the input saturations. The proposed control architecture is deployed on a customized-designed nano manipulating system featured with a flexure beam structure and voice coil actuators (VCA). Real time experiments on various manipulating tasks, such as trajectory/contour tracking, demonstrate precision errors of less than 1%. 相似文献

This paper investigates the stabilization and disturbance rejection for a class of fractional-order nonlinear dynamical systems with mismatched disturbances. To fulfill this purpose a new fractional-order sliding mode control (FOSMC) based on a nonlinear disturbance observer is proposed. In order to design the suitable fractional-order sliding mode controller, a proper switching surface is introduced. Afterward, by using the sliding mode theory and Lyapunov stability theory, a robust fractional-order control law via a nonlinear disturbance observer is proposed to assure the existence of the sliding motion in finite time. The proposed fractional-order sliding mode controller exposes better control performance, ensures fast and robust stability of the closed-loop system, eliminates the disturbances and diminishes the chattering problem. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed fractional-order controller is depicted via numerical simulation results of practical example and is compared with some other controllers. 相似文献

This paper focuses on the current control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for electric drives with model uncertainties and external disturbances. To improve the performance of the PMSM current loop in terms of the speed of response, tracking accuracy, and robustness, a hybrid control strategy is proposed by combining the adaptive sliding mode control and sliding mode disturbance observer (SMDO). An adaptive law is introduced in the sliding mode current controller to improve the dynamic response speed of the current loop and robustness of the PMSM drive system to the existing parameter variations. The SMDO is used as a compensator to restrain the external disturbances and reduce the sliding mode control gains. Experiments results demonstrate that the proposed control strategy can guarantee strong anti-disturbance capability of the PMSM drive system with improved current and speed-tracking performance. 相似文献

In this paper, a new control methodology is developed to enhance the tracking performance of fully actuated surface vessels based on an integrating between an adaptive integral sliding mode control (AISMC) and a disturbance observer (DO). First, an integral sliding mode control (ISMC), in which the backstepping control technique is used as the nominal controller, is designed for the system. The major features, i.e., benefits and drawbacks, of the ISMC are discussed thoroughly. Then, to enhance the tracking performance of the system, an adaptive technique and a new disturbance observer based on sliding mode technique are developed and integrated into the ISMC. The stability of the closed-loop system is proved based on Lyapunov criteria. Computer simulation is performed to illustrate the tracking performance of the proposed controller and compare with the existing controllers for the tracking control of a surface vessel. The simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed strategy. 相似文献

The fault-tolerant control problem belongs to the domain of complex control systems in which inter-control-disciplinary information and expertise are required. This paper proposes an improved faults detection, reconstruction and fault-tolerant control (FTC) scheme for motor systems (MS) with typical faults. For this purpose, a sliding mode controller (SMC) with an integral sliding surface is adopted. This controller can make the output of system to track the desired position reference signal in finite-time and obtain a better dynamic response and anti-disturbance performance. But this controller cannot deal directly with total system failures. However an appropriate combination of the adopted SMC and sliding mode observer (SMO), later it is designed to on-line detect and reconstruct the faults and also to give a sensorless control strategy which can achieve tolerance to a wide class of total additive failures. The closed-loop stability is proved, using the Lyapunov stability theory. Simulation results in healthy and faulty conditions confirm the reliability of the suggested framework. 相似文献

In this study, a new sliding mode control with varying boundary layers is proposed to improve the tracking performance of a nonlinear electro-hydraulic position servo system, which can be found in many manufacturing devices. The key feature of the proposed control scheme is the use of varying boundary layers instead of fixed boundary layers, which are usually employed in conventional sliding mode control. The validity of the proposed control scheme is verified through practical testing on an experimental electro-hydraulic positioning device. In the cases of step and sinusoidal command inputs, the experimental results strongly suggest that the proposed control scheme is capable of improving the tracking precision without causing any chattering. In addition, the new control scheme seems to be very robust against various set point conditions . 相似文献

This study proposes an adaptive sliding mode disturbance rejection control with prescribed performance for robotic manipulators. A transformation with respect to tracking error using certain performance functions is used to ensure the transient and steady-state performances of the trajectory tracking control for robotic manipulators. Using the transformed error, a nonsingular terminal sliding mode surface is proposed. A continuous terminal sliding mode control (SMC) is presented to stabilize the system. To compensate for the uncertainty and external disturbance, a novel sliding mode disturbance observer is proposed. Considering the unknown boundary of the derivative of a lumped disturbance, an adaptive law based on the idea of equivalent control is designed. Combining the adaptive law, continuous nonsingular terminal SMC, and sliding mode disturbance observer, the adaptive sliding mode disturbance rejection control with prescribed performance is developed. Simulations are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 相似文献

A robust sliding mode control that follows a self-tuning law for nonlinear systems possessing uncertain parameters is proposed. The adjustable control gain and a bipolar sigmoid function are on-line tuned to force the tracking error to approach zero. Control system stability is ensured using the Lyapunov method. Both simulation and experimental application of a planetary gear type inverted pendulum control system verify the effectiveness of the developed approach. 相似文献

This paper proposes a novel hybrid control framework by combing observer-based sliding mode control (SMC) with trajectory linearization control (TLC) for hypersonic reentry vehicle (HRV) attitude tracking problem. First, fewer control consumption is achieved using nonlinear tracking differentiator (TD) in the attitude loop. Second, a novel SMC that employs extended disturbance observer (EDO) to counteract the effect of uncertainties using a new sliding surface which includes the estimation error is integrated to address the tracking error stabilization issues in the attitude and angular rate loop, respectively. In addition, new results associated with EDO are examined in terms of dynamic response and noise-tolerant performance, as well as estimation accuracy. The key feature of the proposed compound control approach is that chattering free tracking performance with high accuracy can be ensured for HRV in the presence of multiple uncertainties under control constraints. Based on finite time convergence stability theory, the stability of the resulting closed-loop system is well established. Also, comparisons and extensive simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the control strategy. 相似文献

This paper investigates the design of two sliding mode controllers (SMCs) applied to a tempered glass furnace system. The main objective of the proposed controllers is to regulate the glass plate temperature, the upper-wall temperature and the lower-wall temperature in the furnace to a common desired temperature. The first controller is a conventional sliding mode controller. The key step in the design of this controller is the introduction of a nonlinear transformation that maps the dynamic model of the tempered glass furnace into the generalized controller canonical form; this step facilitates the design of the sliding mode controller. The second controller is based on a state-dependent coefficient (SDC) factorization of the tempered glass furnace dynamic model. Using an SDC factorization, a simplified sliding mode controller is designed. The simulation results indicate that the two proposed control schemes work very well. Moreover, the robustness of the control schemes to changes in the system׳s parameters as well as to disturbances is investigated. In addition, a comparison of the proposed control schemes with a fuzzy PID controller is performed; the results show that the proposed SDC-based sliding mode controller gave better results. 相似文献

Sliding mode control with PID sliding surface and experimental application to an electromechanical plant 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Eker I 《ISA transactions》2006,45(1):109-118
In this study, a sliding mode control system with a proportional+integral+derivative (PID) sliding surface is adopted to control the speed of an electromechanical plant. A robust sliding mode controller is derived so that the actual trajectory tracks the desired trajectory despite uncertainty, nonlinear dynamics, and external disturbances. The proposed sliding mode controller is chosen to ensure the stability of overall dynamics during the reaching phase and sliding phase. The stability of the system is guaranteed in the sense of the Lyapunov stability theorem. The chattering problem is overcome using a hyperbolic function for the sliding surface. Experimental results that are compared with the results of conventional PID verify that the proposed sliding mode controller can achieve favorable tracking performance, and it is robust with regard to uncertainties and disturbances. 相似文献

This paper presents a novel finite-time sliding mode controller applied to perturbed second order systems. The proposed scheme employs a disturbance observer that can identify growing in time disturbances. Then, the observer is combined with a sliding mode controller to achieve finite-time stabilization of the second-order system. The convergence of the observer as well as the finite-time stability of the closed-loop system is theoretically demonstrated. Besides, it is also shown that the finite-time convergence properties of a given controller can be enhanced when using a compensation term based on the disturbance observer. The proposed controller is compared with a twisting algorithm and a finite-time sliding mode controller with disturbance estimation. Also, a conventional proportional integral derivative (PID) controller is combined with the proposed disturbance observer in a trajectory tracking task. Numerical simulations indicate that the proposed controller attains finite-time stabilization of the second order system by requiring a less amount of power than that demanded by the other control schemes and without being affected by the peaking phenomenon. Besides, the performance of the PID technique is enhanced by applying the proposed control methodology. 相似文献
