This study deals with the problem of robust adaptive fault‐tolerant tracking for uncertain systems with multiple delayed state perturbations, mismatched parameter uncertainties, external disturbances, and actuator faults including loss of effectiveness, outage, and stuck. It is assumed that the upper bounds of the delayed state perturbations, the external disturbances and the unparameterizable time‐varying stuck faults are unknown. Then, by estimating online such unknown bounds and on the basis of the updated values of these unknown bounds from the adaptive mechanism, a class of memoryless state feedback fault‐tolerant controller with switching signal function is constructed for robust tracking of dynamical signals. Furthermore, by making use of the proposed adaptive robust tracking controller, the tracking error can be guaranteed to be asymptotically zero in spite of multiple delayed state perturbations, mismatched parameter uncertainties, external disturbances, and actuator faults. In addition, it is also proved that the solutions with tracking error of resulting adaptive closed‐loop system are uniformly bounded. Finally, a simulation example for B747‐100/200 aircraft system is provided to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed fault‐tolerant design approach. For a class of singie-input/single-output uncertain nonlinear systems, affected both by uncertain time-varying parameters (with known bounds) and unknown time-varying bounded disturbances, a new robust adaptive state-feedback control algorithm is presented. It guarantees: boundedness of all signals and arbitrary disturbance attenuation when both disturbances and time-varying parameters are present, and asymptotic tracking with arbitrary transient performance when no disturbance is acting on the system and parameters are constant. The adaptation may be switched off, still guaranteeing bounded signals and disturbance attenuation  相似文献

The problem of robust stabilization of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems with multiple time delays is considered. In the paper, the upper bound of the nonlinearity and uncertainty, including delayed states, is assumed to be a linear function of some parameters which are still assumed to be unknown. Here, we do not require that the nonlinear terms including delayed states are linear norm-bounded in the states. An improved adaptation law with σ-modification is employed to estimate the unknown parameters, and a class of memoryless adaptive robust state feedback controllers is proposed. It is also shown that the proposed adaptive robust controllers can guarantee the uniform asymptotic stability of uncertain nonlinear time-delay systems. Finally, as a numerical example, an uncertain time-delay ecosystem with two competing species is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.  相似文献

The problem of robust stabilization for a class of uncertain dynamical systems with multiple delayed state perturbations is considered. In this paper, it is assumed that each perturbation is bounded by a linear function of delayed state with unknown gains, and an adaptation law is proposed to estimate these unknown gains. Moreover, by making use of the updated values of these unknown bounds we propose a memoryless state feedback controller for such a class of uncertain time-delay systems. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, it is shown that the closed-loop dynamical system resulting from the proposed adaptive robust control schemes is globally stable in the sense of uniform ultimate boundedness. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the results  相似文献

In this paper, direct adaptive-state feedback control schemes are developed to solve the robust tracking and model matching control problem for a class of distributed large scale systems with actuator faults, faulty and perturbed interconnection links, and external disturbances. The adaptation laws are proposed to update the controller parameters on-line when all the eventual faults, the upper bounds of perturbations and disturbances are assumed to be unknown. Then a class of distributed state feedback controllers is constructed to automatically compensate the fault, perturbation and disturbance effects based on the information from adaptive schemes. The proposed distributed adaptive tracking controller can ensure that the resulting adaptive closed-loop large-scale system is stable and the tracking error decreases asymptotically to zero in the presence of uncertain faults of actuators and interconnections, perturbations in interconnection channels, and disturbances. The proposed adaptive design technique is finally evaluated in the light of a simulation example.  相似文献

This paper deals with a sliding mode control with uncertainty adaptation for the robust stabilization of uncertain input delay systems. The types of uncertainties comprise unknown time-varying non-linear parameter perturbations and external disturbance. A sliding surface including a state predictor is employed to compensate for the input delay. The proposed method does not need a priori knowledge of upper bounds on the norm of the uncertainties, but estimates them by using the adaptation scheme based on the sliding surface. Then, a robust control law with uncertainty adaptation is derived to ensure the existence of the sliding mode.  相似文献

The problem of adaptive robust stabilisation is considered for a class of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems with multiple time-varying delays. It is assumed that the upper bounds of the nonlinear delayed state perturbations are unknown and that the time-varying delays are any non-negative continuous and bounded functions which do not require that their derivatives have to be less than one. In particular, it is only required that the nonlinear uncertainties, which can also include time-varying delays, are bounded in any non-negative nonlinear functions which are not required to be known for the system designer. For such a class of uncertain nonlinear time-delay systems, a new method is presented whereby a class of continuous memoryless adaptive robust state feedback controllers with a rather simpler structure is proposed. It is also shown that the solutions of uncertain nonlinear time-delay systems can be guaranteed to be uniformly exponentially convergent towards a ball which can be as small as desired. Finally, as an application, an uncertain nonlinear time-delay ecosystem with two competing species is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.  相似文献

Presents a robust adaptive control approach for a class of time-varying uncertain nonlinear systems in the strict feedback form with completely unknown time-varying virtual control coefficients, uncertain time-varying parameters and unknown time-varying bounded disturbances. The proposed design method does not require any a priori knowledge of the unknown coefficients except for their bounds. It is proved that the proposed robust adaptive scheme can guarantee the global uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system signals and disturbance attenuation.  相似文献

The output tracking control problem is considered for a class of uncertain strict-feedback nonlinear systems with time-varying delays. In the paper, the time-varying delays are assumed to be any non-negative continuous and bounded functions, and it is not necessary for their derivatives to be less than one. It is also assumed that the upper bounds of nonlinear delayed state perturbations and external disturbances are unknown. On the basis of backstepping algorithm, a novel design method is proposed by which some simple adaptive robust output tracking control schemes are synthesised. The proposed design method can avoid the repeated differentiation problem which appears in using the conventional backstepping algorithm, and need not know all the nonlinear upper bound functions of uncertainties, which are repeatedly employed at each step of the backstepping algorithm. In particular, it is not necessary to know any information on the time-varying delays to construct our simple output tracking control schemes. It is also shown that the tracking error can converge uniformly exponentially towards a neighbourhood of the origin. Finally, a numerical example and its simulations are provided to demonstrate the design procedure of the simple method proposed in the paper.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the online learning of unknown dynamical systems using a recurrent neural network. The unknown dynamic systems to be learned are subject to disturbances and possibly unstable. The neural-network model used has a simple architecture with one layer of adaptive connection weights. Four learning rules are proposed for the cases where the system state is measurable in continuous or discrete time. Some of these learning rules extend the /spl sigma/-modification of the standard gradient learning rule. Convergence properties are given to show that the weight parameters of the recurrent neural network are bounded and the state estimation error converges exponentially to a bounded set, which depends on the modeling error and the disturbance bound. The effectiveness of the proposed learning rules for the recurrent neural network is demonstrated using an illustrative example of tracking a Brownian motion.  相似文献

In this article, a robust tracking control problem of a class of dynamical complex networks is presented through a distributed adaptive approach. Uncertain network topology with unknown coupling strength, delayed and perturbed communications and external disturbances are considered, while the bounds of channel noises and coupling delays and disturbances are assumed to be unknown. Adaptation laws are proposed to estimate the network coupling strength and the upper and lower bounds of communication state errors and disturbances on-line. Based on the information from adaptive schemes, a class of distributed robust adaptive controllers is constructed to automatically compensate for the imperfect network and disturbance effects. Then, according to the Lyapunov stability theory, it is shown that the achievement of tracking for complex networks is effective on imperfect communications and disturbances. The effectiveness of the proposed design is illustrated via a decoupled longitudinal model of an F-18 aircraft.  相似文献

This paper investigates a predefined performance control problem for adaptive tracking of uncertain nonlinear time-delay systems in nonstrict-feedback form. Nonstrict-feedback nonlinearities, time-varying delays and external disturbances are assumed to be unknown. Based on the exponential decaying design functions denoting the preassigned bounds of transient and steady-state tracking errors, some variable separation lemmas are derived to design an approximation-based robust adaptive control scheme in the presence of nonstrict-feedback time-delayed nonlinearities. The proposed control system guarantees that a tracking error remains within a predesigned bound for all t ≥ 0 and converges to a preselected neighbourhood of the origin. Compared with the existing results in the literature, the main contribution of this paper is to provide a solution on the guaranteed performance control in the presence of unknown nonstrict-feedback nonlinearities related to all delayed state variables. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive robust controller is designed for a class of uncertain nonlinear cascade systems with multiple time‐varying delays under external disturbance. It is assumed that multiple time‐varying delays are not exactly known and, therefore, the delayed terms must not appear in the adaptation and control laws. Accordingly, by using a Lyapunov‐Krasovskii function, delays are deleted from the adaptation and control laws. A controller based on an adaptive backstepping approach is designed to assure the global asymptotic tracking of the desired output and boundedness of the other states. The proposed controller is proved to be robust against unknown time‐varying delays and external disturbances applying to the system. Simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The problem of decentralized stabilization is considered for a class of large-scale time-varying systems with delayed state perturbations in the interconnections. In this note, the upper bounds of the uncertainties in the interconnections are assumed to be unknown. The adaptation laws are proposed to estimate such unknown bounds, and by making use of their updated values, a class of decentralized memoryless state feedback controllers is constructed. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, it is shown that the solutions to the resulting adaptive closed-loop large-scale time-delay system can be guaranteed to be uniformly ultimately bounded. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.  相似文献

A robust adaptive tracking control scheme is presented for a class of multiple‐input and multiple‐output mechanical systems with unknown disturbances under actuator saturation. The unknown disturbances are expressed as the outputs of a linear exogenous system with unknown coefficient matrices. An adaptive disturbance observer is constructed for the online disturbance estimation. An actuator saturation compensator is introduced to attenuate the adverse effects of actuator saturation. The adaptive backstepping method is then applied to design the robust adaptive tracking control law. It is proved that the designed control law makes the system outputs track the desired trajectories and guarantees the global uniform ultimate stability of the closed‐loop control system. Simulations on a two‐link robotic manipulator verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper considers the tracking problem of a delayed uncertain first‐order system which is simultaneously subject to (possibly large) known input delay, unknown but bounded time‐varying disturbance, and unknown plant parameter. The proposed predictor adaptive robust controller (PARC) involves prediction‐based projection type adaptation laws with model compensation and prediction‐based continuous robust feedback such that the closed loop system has global exponential convergence with an ultimate bound proportional to delay, disturbance bound, and switching gain. Further, if there are only delay and parameter uncertainties after some finite time, then semi‐global asymptotic tracking is guaranteed. The proposed design is shown to have significant closed loop performance improvement over the baseline controller.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive fault tolerant controller guaranteeing with time-varying performance bounds is designed for a class of time delay uncertain nonlinear systems subject to actuator failures and external disturbance. The influence of time delay on the system is mitigated and the system performance can be guaranteed by introducing a positive nonlinear control gain function and the generalised restricted potential function. A new method with more design degrees of freedom is developed to ensure the norm of the system state within a-priori, user-defined time varying performance bounds. Using the online estimation information provided by adaptive mechanism, a robust adaptive fault-tolerant control method guaranteeing time varying performance bounds is proposed. It is shown that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop system are bounded and the system state less than a-priori, user-defined performance bounds. Finally, simulation results are given to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed fault-tolerant control method.  相似文献
