虚拟油泥造型是一种新的计算机辅助工业设计方法,但目前虚拟油泥造型过程中使用的二维鼠标和键盘等人机交互设备无法体现油泥模型设计师的操作习惯,从而降低了造型过程的真实感和系统的交互能力,增加了造型过程的控制难度;根据虚拟油泥造型系统中刮削、填补和刮补造型操作的特点,考虑到设计操作中较为频繁的视图变换,研究了三维鼠标和力反馈设备的作用机理,提出了采用6自由度的三维鼠标和力反馈设备的新的交互方法,并使用Open Inventor开发包在虚拟油泥造型系统中进行了实现;该交互方法在虚拟油泥造型系统中得到了实际应用,效果良好,为设计人员创造力的发挥提供了一种新的途径. 相似文献

Currently, the design of aesthetic products is a process that requires a set of activities where digital models and physical
mockups play a key role. Typically, these are modified (and built) several times before reaching the desired design, increasing
the development time and, consequently, the final product cost. In this paper, we present an innovative design environment
for computer-aided design (CAD) surface analysis. Our system relies on a direct visuo-haptic display system, which enables
users to visualize models using a stereoscopic view, and allows the evaluation of sectional curves using touch. Profile curves
are rendered using an haptic device that deforms a plastic strip, thanks to a set of actuators, to reproduce the curvature
of the shape co-located with the virtual model. By touching the strip, users are able to evaluate shape characteristics, such
as curvature or discontinuities (rendered using sound), and to assess the surface quality. We believe that future computer-aided
systems (CAS)/CAD systems based on our approach will contribute in improving the design process at industrial level. Moreover,
these will allow companies to reduce the product development time by reducing the number of physical mockups necessary for
the product design evaluation and by increasing the quality of the final product, allowing a wider exploration and comparative

The shape design of products is the primary activity of design process. A preliminary study on qualitative and imprecise solid modelling for computer-aided conceptual shape design is presented in this paper. Firstly, the requirements of shape representation for computer-aided conceptual shape design are discussed. Secondly, in the situation where the product information is deficient, the ideas of qualitative and imprecise solid modelling are proposed to deal with qualitative and imprecise information of conceptual shapes. The aim is mainly to explore the representation and manipulation of product shapes in order to benefit designers to design shapes in the conceptual design phase. This paper presents a systematic approach to developing a collaborative environment for computer-aided concurrent net shape product and process development. This approach includes the steps of (1) conventional development process analysis, (2) development process re-engineering, (3) computer-based system functional requirements analysis, (4) system framework design, and (5) system modeling, integration and implementation. This environment can support concurrent net shape product and process development by providing and integrating functions of product data management, process management and development advisory tools. The results of this research will facilitate the rationalization and automation of net shape product and process development and thus improve the efficiency and quality, and reduce the cost of net shape product development.
IDEF structural analysis methodology was employed to capture the characteristics of net shape product and process development process. The concept of concurrent engineering was used to re-engineer the development process. The technology of system engineering was used to design the computer-aided system framework. Object-oriented analysis, modeling and design methodology, knowledge engineering and data engineering techniques were employed for system modeling and implementation. 相似文献
