This paper focuses on the problem of stability analysis and controller design for a class of delay systems based on networked control systems. By introducing some free matrix variables, some criteria for stability analysis and observer-based control law design can be obtained by the solving of linear matrix inequalities. This paper studies the consensus problems for a group of agents with switching topology and time-varying communication delays, where the dynamics of agents is modeled as a high-order integrator. A linear distributed consensus protocol is proposed, which only depends on the agent’s own information and its neighbors’ partial information. By introducing a decomposition of the state vector and performing a state space transformation, the closed-loop dynamics of the multi-agent system is converted into two decoupled subsystems. Based on the decoupled subsystems, some sufficient conditions for the convergence to consensus are established, which provide the upper bounds on the admissible communication delays. Also, the explicit expression of the consensus state is derived. Moreover, the results on the consensus seeking of the group of high-order agents have been extended to a network of agents with dynamics modeled as a completely controllable linear time-invariant system. It is proved that the convergence to consensus of this network is equivalent to that of the group of high-order agents. Finally, some numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main results.  相似文献

Classifying researchers' work according to the quality of their publications rather than the quantity of their publications is an important issue. To this end we introduce a new measure, the "percentage range" or A-index, which provides a qualitative evaluation of a researchers' productivity. The percentage range depends to a great extent on the number of single-author published papers and their citations. It is to be a new index to be considered along with the h-index. The combined factors have the advantage of making clearer the innovation of the individual authors. The resultant percentage range gives a reduced impact on its numerical value for authors who gain citations by adding their names on multi-author papers. It is shown that various dimensions of ethical integrity and originality are clarified by the new index. The important scenarios arising from this analysis are demonstrated with examples, The great differences between the new percentage range and old h-index come from the percentage range's emphasis on considering the whole work of an author, including the significance of the author's single-author papers as opposed to multiple-author contributions. This paper deals with the problem of gain-scheduled L-one control for linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems with parameter-dependent delays. The attention is focused on the design of a gain-scheduled L-one controller that guarantees being an asymptotically stable closed-loop system and satisfying peak-to-peak performance constraints for LPV systems with respect to all amplitude-bounded input signals. In particular, concentrating on the delay-dependent case, we utilize parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions (PDLF) to establish peak-to-peak performance criteria for the first time where there exists a coupling between a Lyapunov function matrix and system matrices. By introducing a slack matrix, the decoupling for the parameter-dependent time-delay LPV system is realized. In this way, the sufficient conditions for the existence of a gain-scheduled L-one controller are proposed in terms of the Lyapunov stability theory and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) method. Based on approximate basis function and the gridding technique, the corresponding controller design is cast into a feasible solution problem of the finite parameter linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Providing autonomous systems with an effective quantity and quality of information from a desired task is challenging. In particular, autonomous vehicles, must have a reliable vision of their workspace to robustly accomplish driving functions. Speaking of machine vision, deep learning techniques, and specifically convolutional neural networks, have been proven to be the state of the art technology in the field. As these networks typically involve millions of parameters and elements, designing an optimal architecture for deep learning structures is a difficult task which is globally under investigation by researchers. This study experimentally evaluates the impact of three major architectural properties of convolutional networks, including the number of layers, filters, and filter size on their performance. In this study, several models with different properties are developed,equally trained, and then applied to an autonomous car in a realistic simulation environment. A new ensemble approach is also proposed to calculate and update weights for the models regarding their mean squared error values. Based on design properties,performance results are reported and compared for further investigations. Surprisingly, the number of filters itself does not largely affect the performance efficiency. As a result, proper allocation of filters with different kernel sizes through the layers introduces a considerable improvement in the performance.Achievements of this study will provide the researchers with a clear clue and direction in designing optimal network architectures for deep learning purposes.  相似文献

Students at the University of Derby are required to complete a year in industry as part of their Bachelor of Science degrees.This is a daunting prospect for some of them,and they can be reluctant to engage in the process of finding a placement position.As part of a second year module,students seeking placement are paired with students already on placement in a mentee/mentor relationship to support the second year students in their search for an internship.This arrangement helps the mentees by introducing them to potential role models close to their experience,receiving encouragement from peers and the inculcation of belief that it is possible to find a placement.The mentors also benefit from a recognition of how much they have learnt.However,there are difficulties in establishing and managing the scheme which should be recognised.This paper reports our experience over the last three years.  相似文献

Significant advances in field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) have made it viable to explore innovative multiprocessor solutions on a single FPGA chip.For multiprocessors,an efficient communication network that matches the needs of the target application is always critical to the overall performance.Wormhole packet-switching network-on-chip (NoC) solutions are replacing conventional shared buses to deal with scalability and complexity challenges coming along with the increasing number of processing elements (PEs).However,the quest for high performance networks has led to very complex and resource-expensive NoC designs,leaving little room for the real computing force,i.e.,PEs.Moreover,many techniques offer very small performance gains or none at all when network traffic is light while increasing the resource usage of routers.We argue that computation is still the primary task of multiprocessors and sufficient resources should be reserved for PEs.This paper presents our novel design and implementation of a resource-efficient communication network for multiprocessors on FPGAs.We reduce not only the required number of routers for a given number of PEs by introducing a new PE-router topology,but also the resource requirement of each router.Our communication network relies on the NEWS channels to transfer packets in a pipelined fashion following the path determined by the routing network.The implementation results on various Xilinx FPGAs show good performance in the typical range of network load for multiprocessor applications.  相似文献

Terrain Visualization is an important part of visualization systems of battlefield, and the visualization of dynamic terrain is also important for dynamic battle environment. In this paper, special attention has been paid on real-time optimally adapting meshes (ROAM) algorithm, which is a candidate for dynamic terrain, and its mesh representation, mesh continuity algorithm and error metrics are discussed. The DEXTER-ROAM algorithm is discussed and analyzed. By revising the mesh representation of ROAM, a dynamic ROAM algorithm based on partial-regular grid is established. By introducing transition region, mesh discontinuity of dynamic partial-regular grid is resolved. Error metric blocks are removed for computation complexity and culling blocks are introduced to accelerate view frustum culling. The algorithm is implemented in a 3D rendering engine called OGRE. In the end, an example of dynamic crater is given to examine the dynamic ROAM algorithm.  相似文献

Being a new software paradigm evolved by the Internet, Internetware brings many challenges to the traditional software methods and techniques. Sponsored by the national basic research program (973), researchers in China have developed an architecture centric technical framework for the definition, incarnation and engineering of Internetware. First of all, a software model for Internetware is defined for what to be, including that Internetware entities should be packaged as components, behaving as agents, interoperating as services, collaborating in a structured and on demand manner, etc. Secondly, a middleware for Internetware is designed and implemented for how to be, including that Internetware entities are incarnated by runtime containers, structured collaborations are enabled by runtime software architecture, Internetware can be managed in a reflective and autonomic manner, etc. Thirdly, an engineering methodology for Internetware is proposed for how to do, including the way to develop Internetware entities and their collaborations by transforming and refining a set of software architectures which cover all the phases of software lifecycle, the way to identify and organize the disordered software assets by domain modeling, etc.  相似文献
