In this article, an ultrawide band inscribed triangle circular fractal antenna is presented. The antenna has been designed on FR4 substrate dielectric constant ?r = 4.3 and thickness of substrate 1.53 mm with initial dimension of 30 mm diameter. The experimental result of fractal antenna exhibits the excellent ultra bandwidth from 2.25 GHz to 15 GHz corresponds to 147.83% impedance bandwidth at VSWR 2:1. This ultrawide band characteristcs of antenna has been achieved by using the CPW-fed and fractal concept. The measured radiation pattern of fractal antenna is nealy omnidirectional in azimuth plane and bidirectional in elevation plane. The measured group delay of proposed antenna is almost constant throughout the band. Such type of antenna is very useful for UWB communication system.  相似文献

针对超宽带通信系统,提出一种小型超宽带天线,可以应用于终端设备。天线类型为共面波导馈电的缝隙型,缝隙结构为一矩形与一圆形组合而成,馈电结构与缝隙结构相似。天线的面积为22 mm×27 mm,印刷在厚度为0. 5 mm的FR4衬底上. 通过软件仿真分析了天线的工作原理以及尺寸对带宽的影响,仿真结果显示天线的带宽在不同的衬底厚度下均能覆盖UWB频段。天线的测试带宽为2.4 GHz~14.4 GHz,在超宽带的工作频段内测试效率超过76% ,测试增益大于2.1 dBi。  相似文献

This paper presents a compact dual-band slot antenna for 1.8/2.4 GHz WLAN applications using electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures. The slotted rectangular radiating element is surrounded by a spiral-like EBG. The antenna size is very compact (60 mm × 60 mm × 3.27 mm), and can be integrated easily with other RF front-end circuits. The working frequency of the patch antenna falls inside the EBG which will lead to the suppression of the surface waves. It is demonstrated that the proposed antenna can completely cover the required bandwidths of IEEE 802.11b/g and IEEE 802.11a with satisfactory radiation characteristics. The simulation is carried out using the finite integration time domain method (FITD) analysis technique. The EM simulated return loss, gain, directivity, radiation pattern, antenna efficiency and VSWR are presented for proposed antenna array. Good agreement is achieved between the simulated and measured results.  相似文献

A CPW-feed printed slot antenna with circular polarization characteristics is presented in this paper. The basic structure of the antenna is a rectangular slot excited by a 50 Ω CPW line terminated on a trapezoidal shaped tuning stub. Perturbations in the form of circular stubs are applied in the slot to realize circular polarization. The measured impedance bandwidth (S11 < −10 dB) for the initial design is 4.4 GHz (from 2.2 GHz to 6.6 GHz) while the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 1.77 GHz (from 4 GHz to 5.77 GHz) which is 36.23% at the center frequency of 4.88 GHz. The basic structure of the antenna was further modified to enhance the impedance bandwidth to reach well beyond 12 GHz while increasing the ARBW to 44.3% (from 4.3 GHz to 6.75 GHz). The proposed antenna in its final version has a measured peak gain of about 5 dB throughout the useful band and nearly stable radiation pattern.  相似文献

A very ultra-wideband compact microstrip slot antenna targeting the 3.1-10.6-GHz frequency band is presented. The proposed antenna is a simple printed slot antenna with a novel radiator, which is fed by a 50 Omega CPW line. The measured return loss extends from 2.8-33.4-GHz, about 169-. The proposed antenna has a compact size of 24-25-mm. The measured radiation patterns confirm that the antenna shows an approximately omnidirectional radiation pattern.  相似文献

In this paper, an ultra‐wideband internal antenna for use in mobile applications is proposed. The proposed antenna has symmetrical bi‐arm structures printed on the top and bottom of the substrate, and it occupies a compact area of 10 mm × 10 mm × 1 mm. The designed antenna has an impedance bandwidth from 3 GHz to 12 GHz and near omnidirectional radiation patterns over the frequency band of interest. The group delay between two antennas fabricated using the proposed design is less than 0.8 ns, and the maximum gain variation is about 3.16 dB.  相似文献

In this paper, four printed wide-slot antenna fed by a microstrip line with a polygonal slot for bandwidth enhancement is proposed and experimentally studied. One of these antennas is fabricated and measured. Impedance, radiation and gaincharacteristics of this antenna are presented and discussed. From experimental results, the measured impedance bandwidth, defined by 10-dB return loss, can reach an operating bandwidth of 4.03 GHz at operating frequencies from approximately 1.87 to 5.90 GHz.  相似文献

This paper presents a bandwidth enhanced, compact planar ultra-wideband antenna design for wireless personal area communication (WPAN) applications. The proposed antenna has fractal based geometry and is constructed using several iterations of a pentagon slot inside a circular metallic structure. The partial ground plane of the basic radiator is tapered, defected and a U slit is etched out from the microstrip feed to improve the −10 dB |S11| bandwidth. The proposed fractal based antenna has an impedance bandwidth from 2.9 GHz to 15 GHz with low profile configuration and is fabricated on FR4 substrate with dimensions of 32 mm × 32 mm × 1.6 mm. To authenticate the designed prototype, the antenna is fabricated and tested for impedance and radiation characteristics. The designed antenna has stable radiation characteristics in the operating band. Furthermore, the antenna is validated for its applicability in WPAN, by calculating fidelity factor through time domain analysis along with the transmission coefficient and group delay measurements.  相似文献

给出了一个新颖的三频工作的单极子天线,并可以应用于无线局域网。这个天线由对称结构和地板组成,它们分别印刷在介电常数为4.4、厚度为1.6 mm 的FR4 介质板的两面,并且采用微带线的馈电方式。这个天线有着小型化尺寸26 mm×20 mm×1.6 mm。测量结果显示,低频和高频的-10 dB 阻抗带宽分别为2.3-2.5 GHz 和4.7-6.8 GHz;这个 带宽覆盖了2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz 无线局域网工作频段。同时得到了较好的全向方向图。这个天线的低频和高频的平均增益分别为2dBi 和3.7dBi。  相似文献

A microstrip-fed planar ultra-wideband monopole antenna with bandnotch characteristics is proposed. The antenna size is compact (18 x 30 mm) and operates over an extremely wide band of 3-16 GHz. The proposed design consists of an inverted cone as the radiating patch and a tapered ground plane. Wideband matching is obtained by properly shaping the ground. A pair of symmetrically placed quarter wave slot resonators is embedded in the ground plane for rejecting the 5-6 GHz WLAN band. Results indicate a stable and omnidirectional radiation pattern with an average gain of 3 dBi and a sharp reduction in gain at notched frequencies. Moreover, measured group delay and transmission characteristics show excellent transient response.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A compact planar Ultrawideband (UWB) monopole antenna with quadruple band notch characteristics is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of a notched rectangular radiating patch with a 50 Ω microstrip feed line, and a defected ground plane. The quadruple band notched functions are achieved by utilising two inverted U-shaped slots, a symmetrical split ring resonator pair (SSRRP) and a via hole. The fabricated antenna has a compact size of 24 mm × 30 mm × 1.6 mm with an impedance bandwidth ranging from 2.86 to 12.2 GHz for magnitude of S11 < ?10 dB. The four band notched characteristics of proposed antenna are in the WiMAX (worldwide interoperability for microwave access) band (3.25–3.55 GHz), C band (3.7–4.2 GHz), WLAN (wireless local area network) band (5.2–5.9 GHz) and the downlink frequency band of X band (7–7.8 GHz) for satellite communication are obtained. The measured and simulation results of proposed antenna are in good agreement to achieve impedance matching, stable radiation patterns, constant gain and group delay over the operating bandwidth.  相似文献

被动雷达导引头为探测与跟踪目标可采用宽带等角螺旋天线,针对降低等角螺旋天线剖面,该文提出一种低剖面背腔式微带线-槽线馈电缝隙等角螺旋天线。微带线-槽线巴伦(Balun)中渐变微带线将同轴线激励的不平衡电场最终转化为槽线处平衡电场。实测结果表明,该缝隙等角螺旋天线实现了1:9的电压驻波比(VSWR)带宽,良好的辐射方向图与圆极化特性。在天线背面加入高度仅有0.05L(L为最低工作频率所对应自由空间中波长)的反射腔,腔内放置矩形环状吸波材料,有效拓展了天线低频段带宽。测试结果表明带有反射腔的缝隙等角螺旋天线实现了1:6.4的电压驻波比带宽,天线增益大于4 dB,良好的圆极化与方向图特性。平面化、一体化的馈电方式与低剖面反射腔有效降低了缝隙等角螺旋天线剖面,测试结果验证了该文所提出的微带线-槽线巴伦馈电缝隙等角螺旋天线设计方法的有效性。  相似文献

An ultra-wideband (UWB) printed slot antenna, suitable for integration with the printed circuit board (PCB) of a wireless universal serial-bus (WUSB) dongle is presented. The design comprises a near-rectangular slot fed by a coplanar waveguide printed on a PCB of width 20 mm. The proposed design has a large bandwidth covering the 3.1? 10.6 GHz UWB band, unaffected by the ground length, and omnidirectional radiation patterns. A linear phase response throughout the band further confirms its suitability for high-speed wireless connectivity.  相似文献

This antenna displays compact size, low cost, ease of mass production, near-hemispherical radiation coverage and circular polarisation properties. A novel and compact ultra-wideband printed antenna with band-rejection characteristic is proposed. By cutting an L-shaped notch on the radiating patch, the impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna can be enhanced. In addition, a C-shaped slot is introduced to obtain the band-rejection operation of the antenna. The antenna, with compact size of 15.5/spl times/21 mm including the ground plane, operates over 3.08-10.97 GHz and has the rejected band from 5.03 to 5.91 GHz.  相似文献

提出了一种紧凑型共面波导馈电的具有三阻带特性的超宽带天线。所设计天线的基本几何结构由共面波导(CPW)馈电线、菱形辐射贴片和矩形宽缝隙组成。通过在辐射贴片上刻蚀一个U型槽,以及在共面波导的接地面上增加两对L型的寄生旁枝结构来实现天线的三陷波特性。天线尺寸为32mm×32mm×0.508mm。仿真和实验结果表明,该天线在2.6~11.5GHz的频段内电压驻波比小于2,在3.15~3.80GHz、5.20~5.80GHz和8.2~8.7GHz三个频段内具有陷波特性,分别有效阻隔了Wi MAX系统、WLAN系统和ITU 8GHz频段信号对于超宽带(UWB)系统的干扰。在除三个阻带频段外的其余UWB工作频段范围内,具有良好的辐射方向特性和稳定的增益。仿真结果和实验结果表现出良好的一致性。  相似文献

 为了有效地抑制超宽带通信系统与窄带通信系统之间潜在的干扰,提出了一种小型的带组合陷波结构的缝隙超宽带天线.该天线采用印刷电路板上的多边形缝隙作为辐射单元,由背面的T形微带线馈电,天线的总尺寸仅为16mm×25mm×0.8mm.通过T形微带上开的一C形槽和地板上开的一矩形槽的组合陷波结构,产生阻带特性且阻带陡度更陡峭、带宽更宽,实现了良好的陷波功能.仿真和测试的结果表明,天线在超宽带系统3.1GHz~10.6GHz工作频段内的电压驻波比小于2,在5~6GHz频率范围实现了良好的滤波特性,有效地阻隔了无线局域网系统对超宽带系统的影响.同时该天线在整个工作频段具有良好的全向辐射方向特性和稳定的增益.  相似文献

A novel compact planar antenna is presented for Ultra-wideband (UWB) applications in this paper. The proposed antenna has rectangle-like slot and it is fed by coplanar waveguide. The antenna is printed on FR4 substrate and it has compact size of $28 \times 31 \times 0.8 \,\,\text{ mm}^{3}$ . Parametric study is performed on the antenna by investigating the effect of various geometrical parameters on the frequency characteristics. The antenna is fabricated and measured. It has better return loss response and stable gain over the entire UWB band. The antenna has stable radiation pattern and good impedance matching over entire ultra-wide bandwidth of 3–10.6 GHz. The results show that there is good agreement between measured and simulated results. Various features such as compactness, simple configuration and low fabrication cost make the antenna suitable for UWB and wireless local area network systems.  相似文献

提出了一种应用于WLAN/WiMAX的新颖的多分枝单极天线,天线有三个分枝,结构紧凑,其大小为26mm×24mm×1.6mm,加工出了天线并进行测试,测试结果表明天线具有良好的双波段工作特性,|S11|≤-10dB时对应中心频率2.47GHz和4.825GHz处带宽分别达4%和62.4%,覆盖WLAN的2.4/5.2/5.8GHz频段及WiMAX的3.5/5.5GHz频段,同时采用了接地板开槽技术以调整带宽,天线在上述频段有近似于全向辐射方向图。  相似文献
