In the customer-oriented apparel retail industry, providing satisfactory shopping experience for customers is a vital differentiator. However, traditional stores generally cannot fully satisfy customer needs because of difficulties in locating target products, out-of-stocks, a lack of professional assistance for product selection, and long waiting for payments. Therefore, this paper proposes an item-level RFID-enabled retail store management system for relatively high-end apparel products to provide customers with more leisure, interaction for product information, and automatic apparel collocation to promote sales during shopping. In this system, RFID hardware devices are installed to capture customer shopping behaviour and preferences, which would be especially useful for business decision-making and proactive individual marketing to enhance retail business. Intelligent fuzzy screening algorithms are then developed to promote apparel collocation based on the customer preferences, the design features of products, and the sales history accumulated in the database. It is expected that the proposed system, when fully implemented, can help promote retail business by enriching customers with intelligent and personalized services, and thus enhance the overall shopping experience.  相似文献

结合销售的具体环节,对混凝土企业的销售需求状况做深入的分析,本着减少销售人员工作量,提高工作效率和数据准确性的原则,利用ASP.NET+SQL Server2005开发了基于B/S端的混凝土销售系统。该系统通过读取生产环节数据,核对订单后输入产品价格便可以自动统计一系列的销售数据,同时提供销售月报表、销售明细表及供货清单等报表供销售人员查询及打印。实践表明,该系统方便快捷准确,且对其他混凝土企业的销售系统都有一定的借鉴价值。  相似文献

The increasing diversity of consumers’ demand, as documented by the debate on the long tail of the distribution of sales volume across products, represents a challenge for retail stores. Recommender systems offer a tool to cope with this challenge. The recent developments in information technology and ubiquitous computing makes it feasible to move recommender systems from the on-line commerce, where they are widely used, to retail stores. In this paper, we aim to bridge the management literature and the computer science literature by analysing a number of issues that arise when applying recommender systems to retail stores: these range from the format of the stores that would benefit most from recommender systems to the impact of coverage and control of recommender systems on customer loyalty and competition among retail stores.  相似文献

Recently, there has been increasing interest in computer‐aided ergonomics and its applications, such as in the fields of intelligent robots, intelligent mobiles, intelligent stores, and so on. The operation of convenience stores (CVS) in Taiwan is facing a crossover revolution by providing multiple services, including daily fresh foods, a café, ticketing, and a grocery. Therefore, forecasting the daily sales of fresh foods is getting more and more complex due to the influence of both internal and external factors. Eventually, a reliable sales‐forecasting system will play an important role in improving business strategies and increasing competitive advantages. The purpose of this study is the development of an enhanced hybrid sales‐forecasting model of fresh foods, called ECFM (Enhanced Cluster and Forecast Model), for CVSs by combining a self‐organization map (SOM) neural network and radial basis function (RBF) neural networks. The model is evaluated for a six‐month sales data set of daily fresh foods at a chained CVS in Taiwan. Meanwhile, the performance of the proposed model is compared with that of fuzzy neural network (FNN) and cluster and forecast model (CFM). The result reveals that the proposed model is not only amenable but can also promise the fresh food sales forecasting for CVSs. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

精准的销售额预测对于商业运营有非常大的指导意义,可以指导运营后台提前进行合理的资源配置,帮助管理者制定合理的目标。零售商店日销售额预测指从商店已有日销售额的数据资料中总结出商品销售额的变化规律,并根据该规律动态预测未来一段时间内的日销售额。预测目的是通过增加企业销量,从而完善生产模式,使企业获利。目前,现有的关于商品销售额预测方法的精度大都不高,低于85%。因此,提出了一种基于TensorFlow的LSTM模型的零售商店日销售额预测方法,能够提高预测未来一周的日销售额精度。实验结果显示,预测精度达到90%;同时得到LSTM模型的MAPE为0.031932,MAE为168.3207,明显高于现有模型的预测结果。  相似文献

Inspired by the evaluation mode theory, we show online vendors mispredict consumers’ responses to different types of sales displays. While vendors predict that consumers evaluate a featured product more positively in a cooperative sales promotion (CSP; i.e., multiple stores promoting synchronously) than in an independent sales promotion (ISP; i.e., a single store promoting independently), consumers actually do the opposite. The reason is that vendors compare CSP with ISP and are able to evaluate depending on perceived acquisition utility; consumers, however, see either CSP or ISP, resulting in difficulty in accessing acquisition utility. Thus, they evaluate according to perceived transaction utility.  相似文献
