BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Ovarian ultrasonography may be helpful in distinguishing the various types of precocious puberty, and the ovarian appearances increasingly influence choice of therapy in these girls. We examined retrospectively the ovarian volume and prevalence of polycystic ovarian appearance at ultrasound in girls with sexual precocity. DESIGN: Ultrasound examinations were obtained from girls who presented with sexual precocity. If there were several scans from the same individual, the latest was analysed. PATIENTS: The girls were divided into groups: untreated central precocious puberty (n = 25), central precocious puberty treated with GnRH analogue (n = 18) or with GnRH analogue and recombinant human GH (n = 11), girls who had stopped treatment with GnRH analogue and GH (n = 12), premature thelarche and thelarche variant (n = 15) and premature adrenarche (n = 14). MEASUREMENTS: Ovarian volume was calculated and the ovaries were assessed for polycystic appearance using standard criteria. Ovarian volume standard deviation (SD) scores were calculated using means and standard deviations derived from a control population and compared using analysis of variance. Differences from control data were assessed using Student's t-test. RESULTS: Ovarian volume SD scores for all the groups studied were greater than those for control subjects. Girls who had stopped treatment with GnRH analogue and GH had mean ovarian volume of 6.98 ml and ovarian volume SD score (+1.72) greater than that of girls having treatment with GnRH analogue alone (+1.24). Polycystic appearance ovaries were found in 83% of scans in girls who had stopped treatment with GnRH analogue and GH. The ovarian volume SD score of girls with premature adrenarche was less than that of girls with untreated central precocious puberty. CONCLUSIONS: Girls with central precocious puberty had large ovaries which did not return to a volume appropriate for age. Girls treated with GnRH analogue and GH developed very large ovaries when they stopped treatment, and had an increased prevalence of ovaries with a polycystic appearance. Central precocious puberty, or some aspect of its treatment, results in an increased prevalence of polycystic ovarian appearance.  相似文献

Recently produced reference curves for various ultrasound dimensions were used to retrospectively assess 67 pelvic ultrasound scans carried out at the initial presentation in girls with sexual precocity. At presentation the group with precocious puberty had significantly increased uterine lengths and ovarian volumes compared with the normal population, and a significantly increased fundal-cervical ratio. Ovarian volume was also significantly increased in therlarche and thelarche variant. The fundal-cervical ratio was significantly increased in thelarche variant. There was considerable overlap between individuals with sexual precocity and normal subjects. The ultrasound findings that best discriminated early or precocious puberty from other forms of sexual precocity were the presence of a midline endometrial echo, and a uterine length above the 97th centile for age. An entirely normal pelvic ultrasound at presentation did not rule out the possibility of precocious puberty.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: Estradiol levels in girls with premature thelarche have not previously been well defined because of the lack of adequate sensitivity of previously available estradiol assays. The ultrasensitive recombinant cell bioassay for estradiol has made the study of estradiol levels in premature thelarche possible. We hypothesized that girls with premature thelarche have higher estradiol levels than normal prepubertal girls. STUDY DESIGN: We used an ultrasensitive recombinant cell bioassay to study estradiol levels in 20 girls with premature thelarche and 15 normal prepubertal girls less than 3 years of age. The 2 groups were compared by Student t test. RESULTS: Estradiol levels were significantly greater in the girls with premature thelarche (8.4 4. 5 pmol/L estradiol equivalents) than in the normal prepubertal girls (3.3 3.5 pmol/L estradiol equivalents; P <.01). The estradiol level was not significantly correlated with age, height, weight, body mass index, age at onset of thelarche, or the presence or absence of ovarian cysts. CONCLUSION: Girls with premature thelarche have significantly higher estradiol levels than normal prepubertal girls. This is consistent with the hypothesis that the mechanism of premature thelarche involves increased estradiol levels rather than increased sensitivity of breast tissue to normal estradiol levels.  相似文献

To define the change in plasma natriuretic peptides in newborns, we prospectively studied 10 premature infants. They were followed sequentially during the first week of extrauterine life by two-dimensional and pulsed Doppler echocardiography, and studied for atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP). We estimated mean pulmonary arterial pressure (MPAP) and measured blood pressure on days 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, respectively. Plasma ANP levels were 81.7 +/- 11.4 pg/ml on day 1 and 67.9 +/- 6.0 pg/ml on day 7, respectively. Between day 2 and day 7, there was a fall in MPAP, i.e. from 37 +/- 4 mmHg to 22 +/- 2 mmHg (P < 0.01), which was associated with a significant decrease in plasma BNP (41.8 +/- 10.1 pg/ml on day 2 vs. 10.4 +/- 0.9 pg/ml on day 7, P < 0.01). There was a positive correlation between MPAP and plasma BNP level (r = 0.643, P < 0.0001), but there was no correlation between MPAP and plasma ANP level. These data suggest that the pattern of secretion of BNP is different from that of ANP and that BNP levels reflect the changes of pulmonary arterial pressure in the neonatal period in premature infants.  相似文献

Serum concentrations of unconjugated estrone, estradiol, and free estradiol, were determined in normal neonates, prepubertal children, adolescents, and adults. The values were compared with those obtained in children with premature thelarche and female sexual precocity. Unconjugated E1 and E2 fell rapidly, and the percentage of FE2 more gradually during the neonatal period and remained low prepubertally. During adolescence girls had greater increases in E1 and E2 while the percentage of FE2 was higher in boys. In premature thelarche only the FE2 was significantly increased. In sexual precocity E1, E2, and FE2 were elevated. Reference standards are provided in Tables I and II for use in the diagnosis of conditions with under- or overproduction of estrogens during growth and development.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: This study was designed to test the hypothesis that hypothalamic hamartoma causes precocious puberty through a different neuroendocrine mechanism than that of normal puberty or of idiopathic precocious puberty. DESIGN AND PATIENTS: We compared the pattern of gonadotrophin secretion among 4 girls with precocious puberty due to hypothalamic hamartoma, 27 girls with idiopathic precocious puberty, and 14 girls with normal puberty. All subjects were breast stage 3 or 4. Blood samples were obtained every 20 min for 4 h during the day (1.000 hours to 1400 h) and night (22.00 hours to 0200 h). MEASUREMENTS: LH, FSH, and prolactin were measured in each blood sample. Girls also underwent LHRH-stimulation with measurement of LH and FSH before and after stimulation. RESULTS: There were no significant differences in mean LH level, LH peak amplitude, or LH or FSH peak frequency during either the day or the night among the three diagnostic groups. However, the mean +/- SD LHRH-stimulated peak LH levels were greater in girls with hypothalamic hamartoma than in girls with normal puberty or with idiopathic precocious puberty (194 +/- 142 vs 85 +/- 60 or 66 +/- 54 IU/l, respectively, P < 0.05). The LHRH-stimulated peak FSH level in girls with hypothalamic hamartoma exceeded the level for the normal pubertal girls (31 +/- 19 vs 17 +/- 7 IU/l, P < 0.05), but not the level for the girls with idiopathic precocious puberty (25 + 12 IU/l). The peak LH to peak FSH ratio in the girls with hypothalamic hamartoma exceeded the ratio for the girls with idiopathic precocious puberty (7.3 +/- 3.9 vs 2.6 +/- 3.0 IU/l, P < 0.05), but not the ratio for the normal pubertal girls (5.0 + 2.9). There were no significant differences in mean prolactin level, peak amplitude or frequency, or in the ratio of mean night to mean day prolactin, among the 3 diagnostic groups. CONCLUSIONS: We conclude that spontaneous gonadotrophin and prolactin secretion are similar among girls with hypothalamic hamartoma, idiopathic precocious puberty, or normal puberty. However, the increased LHRH-stimulated peak LH in the girls with hypothalamic hamartoma suggests subtle differences in neuroendocrine regulation that may underlie their more rapid pubertal maturation.  相似文献

Twenty years ago it was believed that pubertal growth was stimulated by testicular androgen in boys and by adrenal androgen in girls. Estrogen, which was used to inhibit growth in excessively tall girls, was not thought to have growth-promoting effects. We hypothesized that estrogen has a biphasic effect on epiphyseal growth, with maximal stimulation at low levels. We showed that the administration of low doses of estrogen, corresponding to a serum estradiol level of about 4 pg/ml (15 pmol/l) caused more than a 60% increase over the prepubertal growth rate in both boys and girls. To test the hypothesis that estrogen is the principal mediator of the pubertal growth spurt in boys, we administered the aromatase inhibitor, testolactone, to boys with familial male-limited precocious puberty. Testolactone produced near normalization of both growth velocity and bone maturation, despite levels of serum testosterone that remained within the adult male range. The observation that low levels of estrogen stimulate growth and bone maturation suggested that estrogen might explain the more rapid epiphyseal maturation of prepubertal girls compared to boys. To determine whether prepubertal girls have higher estrogen levels than prepubertal boys, we developed an ultrasensitive recombinant cell bioassay for estrogen with a sensitivity of 0.02 pg/ml (0.07 pmol/l) estradiol equivalents. Prepubertal girls had approximately eight-fold higher levels of serum estradiol than did prepubertal boys (0.6 +/- 0.6 pg/ml (SD) (2.2 +/- 2.2 pmol/l) vs 0.08 +/- 0.2 pg/ml (0.29 +/- 0.73 pmol/l), P < 0.05). We concluded that the pubertal growth spurt of both sexes is driven primarily by estrogen, and that the more rapid epiphyseal maturation of prepubertal girls (vs boys) may be explained by their higher estradiol levels.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine plasma levels of N-terminal atrial natriuretic peptide and atrial natriuretic peptide in normal subjects and in patients with essential hypertension, cardiac transplant and chronic renal failure, using radioimmunoassays directed towards the mid-portion pro-atrial natriuretic peptide (31-67) and pro-atrial natriuretic peptide (1-30) of the N-terminal atrial natriuretic peptide and atrial natriuretic peptide (99-126). The circulating form(s) of the immunoreactive N-terminal atrial natriuretic peptide in plasma extracts has been investigated using all three radioimmunoassays by means of gel filtration chromatography to further clarify the major immunoreactive molecular circulating form(s) of N-terminal atrial natriuretic peptide in man. 2. The plasma level (mean +/- SEM) of N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide (31-67) in the normal subjects was 547.2 +/- 32.7 pg/ml (n = 36) and was significantly elevated in patients with essential hypertension (730.2 +/- 72.3 pg/ml, P < 0.025, n = 39), in cardiac transplant recipients (3214.0 +/- 432.2 pg/ml, P < 0.001, n = 9) and in patients with chronic renal failure (3571.8 +/- 474.1 pg/ml, P < 0.001, n = 11). The aim of this study was to evaluate the behaviour of plasma endothelin-1 (ET-1) and norepinephrine (NE) levels in patients with stable angina during a sympathetic stimulation test as the cold pressor test. We enrolled in the study 29 subjects: 14 patients with stable angina (all men, mean age 58.3 +/- 7.3 years) and 15 healthy subjects (all men, mean age 54 +/- 5 years). All patients with stable angina had a stenosis of the coronary arteries (at least 70% of the stenosis in one of the coronary arteries) confirmed by angiography. Before (-15 min; 0 min) during (+2 min) and after the cold pressor test (+5 min, +10 min, +20 min, +30 min) were measured the blood pressure and the heart rate. At the same time were collected venous samples for the ET-1 and NE determination. ET-1 levels increased only in the patients with stable angina (ET-1: O' = 9.8 +/- 3.7 pg/ml; +2' = 11.1 +/- 4.5 pg/ml; +10' = 14.8 +/- 7.1 pg/ml; +20' = 11.6 +/- 5.1 pg/ml; p < 0.05 vs 0', +2'; +20'). The NE levels increased in both groups (NE stable angina: 0' = 105 +/- 31 pg/ml; +2' = 206 +/- 127 pg/ml; +5' = 223 +/- 135 pg/ml; p < .05 vs +2', +5'); (NE healthy subjects 0' = 85 +/- 10 pg/ml; +2' 165 +/- 49 pg/ml; p < 0.05 vs + 2'). In conclusion, our study showed that cold pressor test is a stimulus for the sympathetic system in both groups. The increased levels of ET-1 detected only in the patients with stable angina suggest that this peptide can take part to the pathogenesis of the coronary artery disease.  相似文献

A novel pH shock extraction procedure was used to measure nerve growth factor (NGF) levels in both normal and inflamed synovial fluids using a sensitive and specific two-site enzyme linked immunosorbant assay. To date no data is available on NGF levels in normal synovial fluids. Synovial fluids were taken from 5 normal volunteers, 12 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and 10 patients with other inflammatory arthropathies. The mean +/- SEM NGF concentration in normal synovial fluids was 95 +/- 33.2 pg/ml (range 39.1-143.1 pg/ml), whereas the mean NGF concentration in the synovial fluids taken from patients with rheumatoid arthritis was 532.5 +/- 123.8 pg/ml (range 152-1686 pg/ml). The mean NGF concentration in patients with other inflammatory arthropathies was also raised (430.6 +/- 90 pg/ml; range 89-1071 pg/ml). The NGF concentrations were significantly higher in the synovial fluids from both inflamed groups (ANOVA p < 0.05) compared to normals. Raised levels of NGF in synovial fluid may contribute directly to joint inflammation via activation of inflammatory cells.  相似文献

Lipid metabolism was studied in 21 horses with hyperadrenocorticism. To be included in the study, horses had to have histologic evidence of a pars intermedia adenoma found at necropsy (n = 9), a baseline ACTH concentration greater than 400 pg/ml (n = 6), or a plasma cortisol concentration 2 hours after i.v. administration of 25 IU of ACTH greater than 413 nmol/L (n = 16). Mean +/- SD baseline plasma cortisol concentration was 338 +/- 261 nmol/L (n = 20), mean +/- SD plasma insulin concentration was 97 +/- 54 microU/ml (n = 15), mean +/- SD plasma beta-hydroxybutyrate concentration was 1.8 +/- 1.2 mg/dl (n = 21), and mean +/- SD plasma nonesterified fatty acids concentration was 6.2 +/- 6.4 mg/dl (n = 21). None of the horses had hyperlipemia. Compared with clinically normal horses, horses with hyperadrenocorticism had increased lipolysis and increased ketogenesis. It was concluded that cortisol cannot be the sole factor contributing to insulin resistance in horses with hyperadrenocorticism.  相似文献

A radioimmunoassay for 8-arginine-vasopressin (AVP) measurement in human plasma has been developed and evaluated, using a commercial preparation of an antibody of AVP. Detection limit of the assay was 0.4 pg. A simple acetone extraction procedure gave a recovery of 65% of added [125I]AVP. The overall sensitivity in the assay was 1.0 pg/ml when 2 ml plasma samples were extracted. The antigenic sites of the employed antibody seemed to be a combination of amino acid residues in the tripeptide tail and the pentapeptide ring. This can explain that the antibody was almost completely insensitive to chemically or enzymatically degraded AVP. The inter-assay coefficient of variation for the control plasma pools averaged 17%. A good correlation to plasma osmolalities above 290 has been found. AVP level in recumbent subjects (n = 8) with plasma osmolalities in the normal range was 2.8 +/- 1.0 pg/ml (mean +/- SD) and in ambulatory subjects (n = 10) on ad lib. water intake 4.5 +/- 1.9 pg/ml (mean /+- SD).  相似文献

The existence of a circadian rhythm of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) in humans is controversial. We studied the plasma ANP response to isotonic blood volume expansion in the morning and in the afternoon and its relationship with adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)-cortisol diurnal variation in seven normal subjects. Basal plasma ANP level was similar in the morning (19.6 +/- 2.4 pg/ml) and in the afternoon (21.8 +/- 4.8 pg/ml). The ANP peak obtained with saline infusion (0.9% NaCl, 12 ml/kg) in the morning (49.4 +/- 8 pg/ml) did not differ from that obtained in the afternoon (60.3 +/- 10.1 pg/ml). There was no correlation between the individual mean cortisol and ACTH levels and the ANP peak obtained with saline infusion. These data indicate no diurnal variation in plasma ANP secretion induced by blood volume expansion and no relationship between plasma ANP peak and ACTH-cortisol diurnal variation.  相似文献

The role of left atrial and aortic pressures on the secretion of the main hormones controlling blood volume is still subject to debate in humans. Because of increased mean left atrial pressure and decreased mean aortic pressure produced by balloon inflation in patients with mitral stenosis treated with balloon valvulotomy, the hormonal changes occurring acutely (group II of patients) were measured. The same studies (group I patients) were also performed 48 hours after this treatment, a period at which left atrial pressure permanently diminished. Inflation of the balloon resulted in a decrease in plasma renin activity and increases in plasma atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) and plasma arginine vasopressin (AVP). Forty-eight hours after balloon valvulotomy, which had produced a decrease in left atrial pressure, plasma ANF was lower (58.9 +/- 7.9 vs 95.3 +/- 11.9 pg/ml; p < 0.001), and plasma renin activity (2,575 +/- 533 vs 960 +/- 113 pg/ml/hour; p < 0.01), plasma angiotensin II (25.0 +/- 4.1 vs 9.3 +/- 1.3 pg/ml; p < 0.001) and plasma aldosterone (181.7 +/- 36.7 vs 139.9 +/- 19.8 pg/ml; p < 0.05) were higher than their respective control levels 24 hours before treatment of the stenosis. In contrast, plasma AVP (3.7 +/- 0.25 vs 4.4 +/- 0.31 pg/ml; p = 0.001) diminished moderately along with plasma osmolality (282.4 +/- 0.1 vs 286.2 +/- 0.6 mOsm/kg; p < 0.001). Despite the absence of cardiac or renal pathologies, edema and mild hyponatremia may often occur in patients affected by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Therefore, it has been suggested that hypoxia may influence the release of different hormones regulating renal sodium handling. To evaluate the effect of hyperoxia and O2 removal on plasma digitalis-like substance (DLS) levels, 9 patients affected by COPD and 7 normal subjects were studied. After 1 h in supine position, O2 was administered for 3 h by a tight-fitting face-mask. Blood samples for plasma DLS were taken at time 0, 60, 180 min and then for 3 h after O2 removal. In normal subjects, plasma DLS did not vary after O2 administration (from basal values of 162.25 +/- 8.59 to 107.75 +/- 6.65 pg/ml at 180 min; NS), and O2 removal (143.7 +/- 16.87 pg/ml after 3 h from O2 removal; NS). On the contrary, in patients affected by COPD, plasma DLS levels increased during O2 administration (from basal values of 138.98 +/- 8.31 to 202.14 +/- 8.21 pg/ml at 180 min; p < 0.05), and returned to baseline levels (142.59 +/- 8.28 pg/ml) 3 h after O2 removal. In the same patients, DLS increase was accompanied by a rise in Na+ excretion (from 0.08 +/- 0.01 at time 0 to 0.16 +/- 0.02 mEq/min after 3 h of O2 administration; p < 0.05). In conclusion, our findings showed an oxygen-related increase in plasma DLS levels and in urinary Na+ excretion in patients affected by COPD. This phenomenon could promote Na+ urinary loss during prolonged O2 therapy in these patients and should be taken into account in their management.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: Some studies found endothelin-1 to be a trigger for pulmonary hypertension. Endothelin-1 is an endothelial derived substance with generally vasoconstrictive properties, but probably vasodilatory effects on pulmonary arteries. The aim of the present study was to look for influences of endothelin-1 plasma values on pulmonary artery pressure. METHODS: Endothelin-1 levels during and after cardiac surgery and correlations to pulmonary artery pressure were tested in 10 control patients and 21 patients with pulmonary hypertension (mean pulmonary arterial pressure > 20 mmHg, systolic pulmonary arterial pressure > 30 mmHg). RESULTS: According to endothelin-1 values before anaesthesia (normal value below 4 pg/ml) patients with pulmonary hypertension could be divided into a "high endothelin-1" (10 patients, mean 8.25 +/- 2.06 pg/ml) and a "normal endothelin-1" (11 patients, mean 2.13 +/- 0.86 pg/ml) subgroup (p < 0.01). Values of the "high endothelin-1" group decreased until end of operation (from 7.58 +/- 2.35 to 2.95 +/- 1.44 pg/ml, n = 6) when pulmonary artery pressure returned to normal. Otherwise they slightly increased (from 9.43 +/- 2.24 to 11.07 +/- 1.96 pg/ml, n = 4). Levels of the "normal endothelin-1" group increased (to 2.55 pg/ml). Endothelin-1 values peaked on the intensive care unit (ICU) in all patients. Baseline endothelin-1 and systolic pulmonary artery pressure values correlated well with each other (r = 0.73, p < 0.001). Endothelin-1 decreased after extracorporeal circulation in all patients in whom pulmonary artery pressure tended to normalise, whereas no rise in pulmonary artery pressure paralleled the marked increase in endothelin-1 on the ICU. Vasodilatory effects of endothelin on pulmonary arteries can attribute to this course. CONCLUSIONS: Endothelin-1 seems not to trigger pulmonary hypertension but rather to vasodilate pulmonary vasculature.  相似文献

Although treatment of girls with precocious puberty should ideally restore estradiol levels to the normal prepubertal range, treatment effectiveness has usually been monitored by gonadotropin levels because estradiol RIAs have lacked sufficient sensitivity to monitor treatment effectiveness. We hypothesized that a recently developed ultrasensitive recombinant cell bioassay for estradiol would have sufficient sensitivity to demonstrate a dose-dependent suppression of estradiol during LH-releasing hormone agonist treatment and to determine whether currently used doses are able to suppress estradiol levels to the normal prepubertal range. Twenty girls with central precocious puberty were assigned randomly to receive deslorelin for 9 months at a dose of 1, 2, or 4 micrograms/ kg.day. A significant dose-response relationship was observed, with mean +/- SD estradiol levels of 16.7 +/- 6.1, 7.9 +/- 1.6, and 6.5 +/- 0.7 pmol/L at the doses of 1, 2, and 4 micrograms/kg.day, respectively (P < 0.01). The highest dose suppressed estradiol levels to just above the 95% confidence limits for normal prepubertal girls (< 0.07-6.3 pmol/L). We conclude that the ultrasensitive bioassay for estradiol has sufficient sensitivity for monitoring the response to LH-releasing hormone agonist treatment of central precocious puberty. Additionally, the observation that the deslorelin dose of 4 micrograms/kg.day did not fully restore estradiol levels to the normal prepubertal range suggests that some girls with precocious puberty may require higher doses to receive the maximal benefit of treatment. We suggest that restoration of estradiol levels to the normal prepubertal range should be the ultimate biochemical measure of efficacy, as estradiol is the key hormone that accelerates growth rate, bone maturation rate, and breast development in girls with precocious puberty.  相似文献

Plasma zinc levels were measured in both healthy and diabetic individuals having an age range of 10-93 years. No significant differences in plasma zinc concentrations were found between males and females in either healthy or diabetic individuals. Up to the age of 50 years, the mean plasma zinc of normal individuals remained relatively constant at 70 +/- 32 mug/100 ml (+/- 2 SE) after which the levels decreased. This decreasing pattern was absent in diabetics, whose plasma zinc of 65 +/- 32 mug/100 ml remained constant over the entire age range. For women on oral contraceptive agents, the mean plasma zinc was 59 +/- 18 mug/100 ml, which was significantly lower than that of controls.  相似文献

Plasma prostaglandin F (PGF) was measured by a radioimmunoassay method in 24 subjects with tumours of the female genital tract. Levels in the tumour group ranged from 25 pg/ml to 134 pg/ml and were almost all greater than the values observed in a control group of 41 healthy women who had a mean (+/-SD) level of 21 (+/-3.4)pg/ml. There was a relationship between plasma PGF levels and the stage of the disease. Patients with resectable tumours showed a fall in PGF levels postoperatively and those with disseminated malignancy demonstrated increasing levels as the disease progressed. Plasma human prolactin levels were measured by homologous radioimmunoassay in patients with primary breast cancer and in normal women of similar age. In normal controls mean (+/- SEM) basal plasma prolactin levels were 11.9 +/- 1.5 ng/ml and intravenous injection of synthetic thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH), 500 mug, caused a significant rise in plasma prolactin in all subjects examined with a maximum response of 52.6 +/- 3.3 ng/ml (mean +/- SEM). Markedly high plasma prolactin levels and exaggerated plasma prolactin responses to TRH were demonstrated in some patients with breast cancer. However, mean basal plasma prolactin levels and mean plasma prolactin increments following TRH in patients with breast cancer did not differ significantly from those in normal subjects. Plasma prolactin responses to TRH were slightly blunted during the administration of androgen in patients with breast cancer. These results suggest that some of the patients with primary breast cancer have abnormal prolactin secretion.  相似文献
