A Ka-band planar three-way power divider which uses the coupled line instead of the transmission line is proposed to reduce chip size. The proposed planar topology, different from the conventional Wilkinson power divider, is analyzed and can provide not only compact but also dc block characteristics, which are very suitable for monolithic microwave integrated circuit applications. The divider implemented by a pHEMT process shows an insertion loss less than 5.1 dB and an output isolation better than 17 dB. A return loss less than 18 dB and a phase difference of 4.2deg at 30 GHz can be achieved. Finally, good agreements between the simulation and experimental results are shown.  相似文献

The design of a compact out-of-phase uniplanar power divider operating over an ultra wide frequency band is presented. To achieve an out-of-phase signal division over a large frequency range, a T-junction formed by a slotline and a microstrip line accompanied by wideband microstrip to slotline transitions is employed. The simulated and experimental results of the developed divider show a low insertion loss and good return loss performance of the three ports across the band 3.1-10.6 GHz  相似文献

A novel planar three-way power divider is proposed. Based on the conventional planar microstrip coupled line technology, the proposed three-way power divider can modify a three-way Wilkinson power divider from a three-dimensional configuration into a two-dimensional one, meanwhile, to keep the length of the circuit to be$lambda/$4. The planar structure enables easy circuit design in printed circuit boards and monolithic microwave integrated circuits. The design concept and implementation are discussed. From the measured results, less than 4.8$pm $0.1dB of the three equivalent insertion losses, less than 19.5dB of the return loss, and better than 17.5dB of isolation at 2.4GHz can be achieved.  相似文献

文章提出了一种新的功分器分析方法。该方法利用任意两个隔离端口之间的反射和隔离散射参数,严格推导了任意两个隔离端口应该满足的以Y矩阵表示的约束条件。同时提出了先功分电路,后隔离电路的设计流程,为器件的小型化设计指引了方向。与传统的奇/偶模方法相比,该方法对于非对称功分器提供了更严谨的分析过程。该方法也适用于分析任意端口数、任意端接实阻抗、任意功分比的功分器、正交和180°耦合器设计问题。利用该方法,在微带PCB(印刷电路板)上,制作了一款功分器。通过对比理论计算、全波仿真以及测量结果,表明设计的小型化功分器性能良好。  相似文献

提出了一种波导三路功分器结构,该功分器采用E面T型缝隙耦合结构来实现功分比的调节。通过调节耦合缝隙以及感性膜片,使输入阻抗匹配并且实现等功率同相位的三路功分输出。为了实现功率合成,采用对称的两个三路功分器进行背靠背级联实现功率合成网络,仿真结果显示出良好的驻波效果和极低的插损。最终对加工出的实物进行测量,在32.5~36 GHz频段内实现了输出功率幅度不平衡度小于0.5 dB的良好效果。通过背靠背连接两个功分器实现了在33.3~35.3 GHz带宽内插损小于0.3 dB的功率分配/合成网络。  相似文献

为了简化双频Wilkinson功分器的总体结构,并减小功分器的整体尺寸,在对奇模-偶模理论深入研究的基础上,利用传输线的双频阻抗变换特性,并在输入端口并联开路微带线,设计出了一个尺寸小,工作在900和2 450 MHz两个RFID频段的功分器。对功分器进行ADS仿真与实际测试,测试结果显示:当其在两个中心频率点时,传输损耗分别为3.20和3.23 dB,隔离度小于-28 dB,各个端口的回波损耗小于-30 dB,测试与仿真结果吻合良好。同时,该实测结果也显示出了功分器在两个RFID频率上具有良好的性能指标,验证了设计方案是可行的,也保证了能够很好地应用于双频RFID系统中。  相似文献

传统的一分多路功分器的隔离网络占用的尺寸较大.根据复合左右手传输线的双曲-线性色散关系可以设计出零相移复合左右手传输线,利用这种传输线来改进传统功分器的隔离网络,可以有效减小整个功分器的尺寸.采用零相移复合左右手传输线来改进三等分功分器的隔离网络,整个功分器的面积比传统的减小了70%,实验结果证明了设计方法的正确性.  相似文献

A novel design of compact dual-band equal power divider circuit for large frequency-ratio (greater than 3) applications is proposed in this paper. Topology of the circuit consists of two-section transmission-line transformers and a series RLC network for isolation. This power divider provides an equal power-dividing at two arbitrary frequencies which feature high center frequency-ratio. Besides, this power divider achieves good port matching and isolation. Theoretical derivations are presented and verified by measuring a 3-dB microstrip power divider operating at both 1 GHz and 4 GHz.  相似文献

The device described in this paper has been designed to enable the feeding of many individual plasma sources from a single microwave generator, providing a noninterfering and constant supply of power to each coaxial line driving these plasma sources. The power coming from the generator flows through a waveguide under standing-wave conditions provided by the presence of a conducting plane located at the waveguide end opposite that linked to the generator. Power is extracted from the waveguide, at the maximum of intensity of the E-field standing wave, by a waveguide-to-coaxial-line transition designated as a probe. One or two probes can be set at each such maximum of field intensity (and this on both sides of the waveguide wide wall), yielding a compact power divider. Each coaxial line feeds a microwave field applicator, sustaining plasma, through a matching circuit comprising a tuning means and a ferrite isolator (circulator with a matched load), the latter ensuring that whatever happens to the plasma source, the other feeding lines are not affected. The conditions required for a perfect match of the microwave generator to the power divider are elaborated and examples of actual designs are presented  相似文献

设计了一种小型三陷波平面超宽带天线,通过在天线的辐射贴片上加载U形缝隙、在接地板上开一对对称的L形缝隙和引入寄生条带,使得天线在3.2~3.6GHz、3.7~4.3GHz和5.3~6GHz频段内实现频率阻断。利用仿真软件研究了U形缝隙、L形缝隙和寄生条带对陷波特性的影响,并对所设计的超宽带天线进行了制作和测量。结果显示,该天线在工作频段2.8~10.6GHz内具有良好的辐射方向特性,能广泛应用于超宽带系统。  相似文献

A new microstrip power divider (PD) is proposed which consists of a pair of parallel coupled-lines (PCLs) on a defected ground, and its two outputs are connected by a resistor and a capacitor. The even/odd-mode analysis shows that the defected ground structure (DGS) etched on the ground plane of PCL is equivalent to a strong parallel resonance circuit in the case of even-mode, and a weak inductance in the case of odd-mode. So, this kind of additional reactance effect is used intentionally to design compact coupled microstrip PD with harmonic suppression. Also, the phase-delay through the PD is discussed, which is different from conventional one. A 0.9 GHz PD is developed and experimental results verify it has low insertion loss, good impedance matching and isolation. Furthermore, the third harmonic suppression of this PD is better than ${-}35$ dB and the overall area of divider is only 34% of the conventional case.   相似文献

A novel ultra-wideband (UWB) multilayer slotline power divider with bandpass filtering response is presented. In the proposed structure, a single isolation resistor is properly placed between the two output ports. Based on the transmission-line equivalent-circuit method, the design equations of the proposed UWB power divider has been derived with the even and odd mode analyses. Experimental results show that excellent impedance matching at all three ports, amplitude and phase balance at the two output ports, isolation between the two output ports, and out-of-band rejection are observed at the UWB band.   相似文献

分别设计了一分四和一分八的宽带紧凑型基片集成径向波导(SIRW )功分器,通过馈电探针的阶梯化方式,使常规一分四和一分八SIRW功分器在回波损耗小于-15 dB条件下的相对工作带宽由原先的6%和15%分别提高至58%和61%,仿真得到的带内插耗分别在-6.25 dB和-9.25 dB以内。为了验证仿真数据的准确性,对一分四功分器进行了测试,测试结果性能良好,满足工程使用要求。  相似文献

In this work, multimode interference is investigated for the design of a two-dimensional fully dielectric power divider, well suited for the usage of dielectric waveguides. Most important, power division is achieved in a single device without the need of cascading multiple dividers. This allows to design a very compact and lightweight power divider, well applicable for dielectric rod antenna arrays. As a proof of concept for the used technique, a 16-way power divider with 4 × 4 output ports, made out of Rexolite, is realized, working in a frequency range between 90 and 105 GHz. For the S-parameter measurements, a special measurement setup, including a modular pin probe technique as well as radiation taper for waveguide termination, is proposed. The measurements are in good agreement with the simulations with a power split of ??15 dB for all output ports within the desired frequency range. This is equal to an additional insertion loss of 3 dB. To demonstrate the usability for antenna arrays, a fully dielectric rod antenna array is realized based on the proposed power divider. With this array, a gain of 22.5 dBi at 97.5 GHz was achieved.  相似文献

A compact Wilkinson power divider using a short circuit anti-coupled line for harmonic suppression is presented in this letter. The structure consists of a pair of anti-coupled line short circuited by a capacitive load realized by a low impedance line. It can offer three finite attenuation poles in the stopband, while arbitrary phase shift can be obtained in the passband. Design procedures have been clearly presented. A 1.8-GHz power divider is designed, fabricated and measured for demonstration. It agreed well with the simulated results. The circuit area of the proposed divider is only 40% of that of the conventional one. Furthermore, the proposed divider has spurious pass-band suppression as high as 20dB.  相似文献

This letter proposes a novel out-of-phase power divider that operates at two arbitrary frequencies. Because of the use of the balanced transmission line, namely the double-sided parallel-strip line (DSPSL), the out-of-phase feature between the two output ports can be made frequency-independent. The power divider employs three lumped components (an inductor L, a capacitor C and a resistor R) in serial connection to achieve isolation between the two output ports. The design equations are derived using the odd-mode and even-mode analysis. Experimental results show that good matching, isolation and amplitude balance are simultaneously achievable for both of the two operating frequency bands.  相似文献

A metamaterial based compact microstrip T-junction power divider working at 10GHz is proposed. The metamaterial unit cell consists of microstrip gaps and via holes whose behavior is equivalent to the combination of series capacitors and shunt inductors respectively, that is, a dual transmission line (high-pass) configuration. By adjusting the parameters of these structures, the characteristics of the Metamaterial-medium can be set to achieve a desired phase shift. To validate the design, a T-junction power divider is fabricated and measured. 提出了一种基于微带与槽线过渡结构的超宽带180°型3 dB功分器,采用扇形过渡结构替代传统的圆形过渡结构,拓展了功分器的工作带宽。该功分器仿真和测试结果吻合良好,在3.1~10.6 GHz频带内实现了插入损耗小于1.5 dB,两输出口的幅度误差小于0.8 dB,相位误差小于1°,输入端口反射系数小于-12 dB。  相似文献

设计了一种紧凑型的MIMO超宽带缝隙天线。该天线不采用任何解耦结构可以获得较高的隔离度。通过应用位置不对称的天线单元和缝隙天线来实现,这种结构可以减小天线的尺寸,设计的超宽带天线尺寸为15mm×20mm。测量结果表明,超宽带天线在3.1~12.0GHz内保持良好的全向辐射特性和稳定的增益,测量阻抗隔离比大于24dB。相关系数(ECC)和信道容量损失(CCL)都在可以接受的范围内。该天线可应用于超宽带通信系统中。  相似文献
