This paper presents a 200 mA low-dropout(LDO) linear regulator using two modified techniques for frequency compensation.One technique is that the error amplifier uses a common source stage with variable load, which is controlled by the output current,is served as the second stage for a stable frequency response.The other technique is that the LDO uses a pole-zero tracking compensation technique at the error amplifier to achieve a good frequency response.The proposed circuit was fabricated and tested in HJTC 0.18μm CMOS technology. The designed LDO linear regulator works under the input voltage of 2.8-5 V and provides up to 200 mA load current for an output voltage of 1.8 V.The total error of the output voltage due to line and load variation is less than 0.015%.The LDO die area is 630×550μm~2 and the quiescent current is 130μA. 相似文献

为了解决高压恒流源芯片内部低压模块供电问题,通过集成降压预调整电路、前置基准源和线性稳压器3个模块,设计了一种宽电压输入范围的降压稳压电路.采用0.6μm BCD工艺模型进行仿真验证.结果显示,降压预调整电路低压跟随时压差在50mV内.输入在6~40V范围内变化时,偏置和基准的变化分别为1.13mV和0.3mV幅度.线性稳压器直流下PSRR可达-85dB,在1MHz工作频率下,输入电压为6V和40V时,模拟电源变化幅度分别不超过24mV和46mV,数字电源变化幅度分别不超过0.3V和0.8V.该降压稳压电路已成功应用于高压LED恒流源中. 相似文献

针对总线终端稳压器的设计要求,提出一种具有3A源-汇(source and sink)电流能力的快速响应线性稳压器。采用NMOS调整管结构和负载电流反馈技术,提高了系统的电流能力和响应速度。使用自适应零点补偿实现了全负载范围内source和sink环路的稳定性。此外,采用跨导匹配技术使得输出级的直通电流降低到3μA以下。该电路采用0.6-μm 5V/30V工艺投片验证,面积为1mm2。在20μF输出电容、?2A/1μs负载阶跃变化时的最大瞬态输出电压变化量小于3.5%,在?3A的负载范围内,输出电压变化小于?15mV。 相似文献

设计了一种具有快速瞬态响应能力的低漏失稳压器,利用提出的一种瞬态响应加速(Transient Response Enhancement,TRE)电路,有效地提高了稳压器的瞬态响应速度,而且瞬态响应速度的提高并不增加静态电流.设计的LDO电路采用0.5μm标准CMOS工艺投片验证,芯片面积为0.49mm2.该LDO空载下的静态电流仅23μA,最大带载200mA.在1μF输出电容、200mA/100ns负载阶跃变化时的最大瞬态输出电压变化量小于3.5%. 相似文献

This paper presents a current-mode voltage regulator for a passive UHF RFID transponder.The passive tag power is extracted from RF energy through the RF-to-DC rectifier.Due to huge variations of the incoming RF power,the rectifier output voltage should be regulated to achieve a stable power supply.By accurately controlling the current flowing into the load with an embedded sub-threshold reference,the regulated voltage varies in a range of 1-1.3 V from-20 to 80 ℃,and a bandwidth of about 100 kHz is achieved for a fast power recovery.The circuit is fabricated in UMC0.18μm mixed-mode CMOS technology,and the current consumption is only 1 μA. 相似文献

设计了一用于高压电源管理芯片中的内部稳压器电路,为系统中低压模块提供稳定的电源电压输入.电路分为基准和线性稳压器两个部分.整个电路结构为:峰值电流源为Brokaw基准供电,获得的基准电压输入后端放大器的正向端中,运用线性稳压器结构进行降压,为后级各模块提供三组不同的电压,又根据各个电源使用场合的不同,对数字电源加入关断机制,并且加强了功率电源的负载调整能力,有效地防止了后续模块的不正常工作.系统测试表明,电路能够产生三组需要的电压,并在容差范围内能够使系统正常工作. 相似文献

The analysis of an inhomogeneously loaded helix in the tape model, reported elsewhere, considering the effect of space harmonics as well as the different radial propagation constants over the different structure regions, is quite tedious and rigorous. So, to avoid the rigorous analysis here, a heuristic analysis has been developed by combining the results of the tape model analysis of a helix in free space with those of the sheath helix model analysis of a loaded helix. The results presented here in terms of dispersion characteristics have been compared with those results obtained from a rigorous approach (both for homogeneously and inhomogeneously loaded structures) in the tape helix model. However, the results obtained from this approach agree closely with those of the rigorous approach for a practical situation in which the discrete supports are smoothed out into a single continuous region. The approach is valid for an inhomogeneously loaded helix for optimum conditions of structure parameters, namely, helix pitch angle, helix to barrel gap, support material and inhomogeneity. Moreover, the results predicted by this heuristic approach have also been validated with those experimental results published in the literature and are found to be in good agreement. 相似文献

This paper proposes a 250 mV supply voltage digital low‐dropout (LDO) regulator. The proposed LDO regulator reduces the supply voltage to 250 mV by implementing with all digital circuits in a 0.11 μm CMOS process. The fast current tracking scheme achieves the fast settling time of the output voltage by eliminating the ringing problem. The over‐voltage and under‐voltage detection circuits decrease the overshoot and undershoot voltages by changing the switch array current rapidly. The switch bias circuit reduces the size of the current switch array to 1/3, which applies a forward body bias voltage at low supply voltage. The fabricated LDO regulator worked at 0.25 V to 1.2 V supply voltage. It achieved 250 mV supply voltage and 220 mV output voltage with 99.5% current efficiency and 8 mV ripple voltage at 20 μA to 200 μA load current. 相似文献
