Generalized state-space systems are a more natural way of describing dynamical behavior than standard state-space systems. Such systems exhibit a much richer observability structure than standard state-space systems. Three notions of observability are defined for generalized state-space systems. This paper deals with the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) observability analysis for sensorless control design. The problem of loss of observability at low frequency range is always recognized in experimental settings. Nevertheless, there are no sufficient theoretical observability analyses for the PMSM. In the literature, only the sufficient observability condition has been presented. Therefore, the current work is aimed especially towords the necessary observability condition analysis. Furthermore, improved zero‐speed observation is presented here for a surface PMSM (SPMSM) to overcome position observability problems at zero‐speed which is an unobservable state point. The proposed observer based on higher order sliding mode (HOSM) is designed in order to ensure robustness against disturbances and to avoid the chattering phenomenon which is inherent in standard first order sliding modes. The stability and finite time convergence of the developed observer are studied and discussed. Experimental results are carried out to illustrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed observer.  相似文献

Petri网和有限自动机是离散事件动态系统的两类主要研究内容.而Petri网系统的能观性分析与判别是基于Petri网的实际系统设计、优化、监测及控制的重要基础.以往关于Petri网能观测性的研究缺乏定量化的充要判别条件.本文利用代数矩阵方法研究了带有输出的有界Petri网系统的能观性问题.首先,基于矩阵的半张量积,将带有输出的有界Petri网系统的动态行为以线性方程组的形式建立了数学模型.然后,针对初始标识和当前标识,介绍了两种能观性定义.最后,基于矩阵运算建立了关于有界Petri网系统能观性的几个充分必要条件,并给出严格证明.数值算例验证了理论结果.本文提出的方法实现了有界Petri网系统能观性的矩阵运算,易于计算机实现.  相似文献

In this paper, a bias-eliminated subspace identification method is proposed for industrial applications subject to colored noise. Based on double orthogonal projections, an identification algorithm is developed to eliminate the influence of colored noise for consistent estimation of the extended observability matrix of the plant state-space model. A shift-invariant approach is then given to retrieve the system matrices from the estimated extended observability matrix. The persistent excitation condition for consistent estimation of the extended observability matrix is analyzed. Moreover, a numerical algorithm is given to compute the estimation error of the estimated extended observability matrix. Two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and merit of the proposed method.  相似文献

将输出对状态稳定和状态模可观测等概念进行推广.提出了输出对V(x)稳定、小时间y(z)可观测、大时间V(x)可观测的定义.利用上述定义,给出了非线性切换系统的V(x)零值集稳定的充分条件.分别利用统一Lyapunov函数和多Lyapunov函数证明了所提出的结论,并详细讨论了输出对V(x)稳定与输出对状态稳定及其他相关定义之间的关系.数值例子验证了所提出结论的正确性.  相似文献

This paper studies detectability and observability of discrete-time stochastic linear systems. Based on the standard notions of detectability and observability for time-varying linear systems, corresponding definitions for discrete-time stochastic systems are proposed which unify some recently reported detectability and exact observability concepts for stochastic linear systems. The notion of observability leads to the stochastic version of the well-known rank criterion for observability of deterministic linear systems. By using these two concepts, the discrete-time stochastic Lyapunov equation and Riccati equations are studied. The results not only extend some of the existing results on these two types of equation but also indicate that the notions of detectability and observability studied in this paper take analogous functions as the usual concepts of detectability and observability in deterministic linear systems. It is expected that the results presented may play important roles in many design problems in stochastic linear systems.  相似文献

In order to determine uncertainties from restricted available information, fuzzy discrete-event systems (FDESs), or fuzzy discrete-event dynamic systems (FDEDSs), were recently proposed. These frameworks include fuzzy states and events occurring simultaneously with different membership degrees. Fuzzy states and events have been used to describe uncertainties that occur often in practical problems, such as treatment planning for HIV/AIDS patients, sensory information processing for robotic control, and fault diagnosis problems. In order to measure information associated with FDESs or FDEDSs, the classical discrete event system (DES) observability has been turned into fuzzy observability for FDESs or FDEDSs. The newly proposed method allows ease of defining degrees of observability so that uncertainties in FDESs or FDEDSs can be dealt with effectively. This gives an opportunity to design better decision-making systems. To calculate the observability degree, a simple fuzzy observability checking method is introduced, and two examples are elaborated upon to illustrate the presented method. Finally, the newly proposed method is tested on a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system.  相似文献

The estimability and stochastic observability of quantised discrete-time linear dynamic systems are discussed from information theoretic viewpoint. Algebraic conditions of estimability and stochastic observability for quantised linear Gaussian systems, i.e., certain Gramians having full rank, are proposed based on the measure of mutual information. The obtained conditions of estimability and observability are consistent with the intuition and provide us with valuable hints on quantiser design. It is shown analytically that the Gramians of quantised systems converge to that of unquantised systems when the quantisation intervals turn to zero, and a well-designed quantiser can preserve the estimability and stochastic observability of the original system even if it is as coarse as one bit. Furthermore, the relation between estimability and stochastic observability is established for quantised stochastically autonomous systems. The analytical results are verified by illustrative simulations.  相似文献

针对目前已有的可观测性覆盖评估方法计算复杂度高、时间开销大的问题,建立了一种可观测性信息模型,并在此基础上提出一种可观测性语句覆盖评估算法.该算法采用变量的赋值与引用作为分析基础,计算效率大大提高,同时可以很容易地与其他考虑可控制性的覆盖准则相结合.实验结果表明,可观测性语句覆盖准则增强了语句覆盖准则的评估能力,同时与已有的可观测性语句覆盖评估方法相比,文中算法时间开销大大降低.  相似文献

In this paper, an approach to analyze the observability and controllability of sandwich systems with dead-zone is proposed. In this method, a non-smooth state-space function is proposed to describe the sandwich systems with dead-zone which are also non-smooth nonlinear systems. Then, a linearization method based on non-smooth optimization is proposed to derive a linearized state-space function to approximate the non-smooth sandwich systems within a bounded region around the equilibrium points that we are interested in. Afterwards, both observability and controllability matrices are constructed and the methods to analyze the observability as well as controllability of sandwich system with dead-zone are derived. The paper presents an algebraic characterization of observability and span-reachability of bilinear hybrid systems without guards, i.e. hybrid systems whose continuous dynamics are determined by bilinear control systems, and whose discrete transitions are triggered externally. The proposed characterization provides necessary and sufficient conditions for observability and span-reachability in terms of rank conditions for generalized observability and controllability matrices. This characterization is useful for the system theory of bilinear hybrid systems, in particular, it is used in the realization theory of bilinear hybrid systems, (Petreczky, 2006).  相似文献

平行于第Ⅰ部分中提出的非线性系统的全驱性概念, 本文提出了非线性系统的全量测性概念.首先给出了非线性系统的一种能观规范型, 并证明了任何与该类非线性系统能观规范型等价的系统, 以及任何能观的线性系统, 都等价于一个高阶全量测系统.然后据此提出了一般动态系统的完全能观性定义, 同时指出线性系统的完全能观性等同于其通常意义下的能观性.最后提出了非线性全量测系统观测器设计的一种简洁方法.基于这种设计, 可以使观测误差系统为线性定常系统, 并且可以任意配置其特征多项式的系数矩阵.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the controllability and observability for linear time‐varying switched impulsive systems. First, some new results about the variation of parameters for time‐varying switched impulsive systems are derived. Then less conservative sufficient conditions and necessary conditions for state controllability and observability of such systems are established. And for such system without impulsive control input, sufficient and necessary conditions for controllability and observability are derived. Furthermore, corresponding criteria applied to time‐varying impulsive systems are also discussed and examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed results. This article studies the controllability and observability of discrete-time linear time-delay systems, so that the two properties can play a more fundamental role in system analysis before controller and observer design is engaged. Complete definitions of controllability and observability, which imply the stabilisability and detectability, respectively, and determine the feasibility of eigenvalue assignment, are proposed for systems with delays in both state variables and input/output signals. Necessary and sufficient criteria are developed to check the controllability and observability efficiently. The proofs are based on the equivalent expanded system, but the criteria only involve the delays and matrices of the same dimension as the original system. Finally, the duality between the suggested controllability and observability is presented.  相似文献

In this paper, an approach for analyzing the observability and controllability of micro‐positioning stage with piezoelectric actuator described by sandwich model with hysteresis is proposed. As hysteresis inherent in piezoelectric actuator is a non‐smooth nonlinear function with multi‐valued mapping, the positioning system is also a non‐smooth dynamic system. The Prandtl‐Ishlinksii (PI) submodel is employed to describe the characteristic of hysteresis embedded in the sandwich system. A linearization method based on non‐smooth optimization is proposed to derive a generalized linearized state‐space function to approximate the non‐smooth sandwich systems within a bounded region around the equilibrium points the system works at. Then, both observability and controllability matrices are constructed and the methods to analyze the observability as well as the controllability of sandwich system with hysteresis are derived. Finally, a simulation example and an application of the proposed method to a micro‐positioning stage with piezoactuator are presented to validate the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the observability of finite automata (acronym is FA) that contain both deterministic finite automata and non-deterministic finite automata is investigated under the framework of the semi-tensor product of matrices. For both initial state and current state cases, two different observability definitions with or without input information are considered, respectively. First, we show that how the observability problem of initial state of FA can be transformed to the construction problem of an initial state-outputs matrix that presents the relationship between initial state and outputs. Second, a current state-outputs matrix to verify the observability problem of current state is given. When two matrices are obtained, four theorems to verify the observability of initial state and current state are presented, respectively. In particular, compared with the existing approach, the proposed approach not only provides a unified verification for the two types of observability of both initial state and current state but also reduces the computational complexity considerably. An illustrative example is presented to show the theoretical results.  相似文献
