Post-Apocalypse Now

In cinema, the post-apocalypse has become a recurring theme offering endless opportunities to envisage and keep on reimagining the end of the world as we know it. Here Mark Fisher explores the post-apocalyptic in Children of Men (2006), The Road (2006) and Terminator Salvation (2009), and asks whether these seminal films point towards a tendency to imagine the end of existence over the end of capitalism. Brave New Now

Under Tomorrow's Sky is a fictional future city. For the project, speculative architect Liam Young assembled a think-tank of scientists, technologists, futurists, illustrators and science-fiction authors to collectively develop this imaginary place, the landscapes that surround it and the stories it contains. The city forms a stage set for a collection of fictions, emerging infrastructures and design experiments. It is an imaginary landscape extrapolated from the wonders and possibilities of emerging biological and technological research. Here, speculative fiction provides a critical tool, which is visionary in its trajectory while provoking us to examine some of the most pertinent questions facing us today.

FirstIssue与Now Ink是2012年上海艺术博览会中的两个展览，由ArtHub的乐大豆策划，基于展览的超低预算，建筑师为展览提出了一个简单的解决方案，以棉线作为基本材料，利用HP曲面的几何原理，创造出半透明的空间装置，用以连接各个摆放展品的区域，同时为每个展览区域之间提供缓冲空间。建筑师特别设计了同样基于HP曲面原理的字体，以增强展览的整体性。     

A Cosmorama of Now

Cosmorama defined both AD and the spirit of the times during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Its fantastically diverse range of technically orientated contributions were sent in from all over the world and served as a rich resource for generations of students and practising architects. Will McLean has been inspired to trawl for more contributions ever since reading the bound copies whilst studying architecture during the late 1980s. These are some of his most recent ones. 本文提出了关于可持续社区的一个全新概念,认为可持续社区是一种模式、一种工作方向和思路,同时又是一种哲学和实际解决问题的方式;并从地方政府决策的角度阐述了如何通过对人工环境的规划和发展去实现可持续社区.     

《建筑结构学报》载文与影响力计量分析研究

运用科学文献计量方法,基于中国学术期刊网络出版总库对《建筑结构学报》2000-2009年的载文情况（包括载文量、基金论文数量、载文基金类别、载文地域分布、载文内容和载文参考文献分布等）进行了定量分析;基于Web of Science数据库和中国引文数据库对《建筑结构学报》的国内外影响力（高被引文章、施引期刊分布）进行了定量分析,从而全面客观地揭示了《建筑结构学报》的发展态势、整体水平以及在国内外学术界的影响。本文在运用文献计量方法进行期刊影响力评估,尤其是在基于引文的期刊国际影响力方面进行了探索研究。图4表6参12
