In an especially compaction apparatus the vibration force field is applied to the solids conveying process by the axial vibration of the piston. Through the experimental investigation of solid granule compaction, it is demonstrated that the effect of vibration field and temperature on the density of polymer solid granules is very significant. The experimental results show that the pressure exerted on the solid granules increases with the increase in the amplitude or frequency of the vibration force field, which accelerates the compaction of loosely solid granules. 相似文献

Using an online measure system consisted of a high sensitivity pressure sensor, a spiral channel mold and a data collecting/analysis series. The cavity pressure and flow length response under different injection pressure, injection velocity, mold temperature and different vibration condition was measured and analyzed in this study. The results show that the cavity pressure and flow length increased with the increase of injection pressure, injection velocity and mold temperature. In vibration assisted injection molding (VAIM), the cavity pressure and flow length increased as a result of imposing vibration. The change of amplitude and frequency in VAIM had more distinct effect on flow length than injection pressure. The results also indicate that the measure system established in this study can accurately monitor and record the changes of cavity pressure, and could be used in the study of melt's filling capacity in injection molding process. 相似文献

Employing a spiral channel mold and a set of cavity pressure measurement equipments from Kistler, the cavity pressure response and the maximum flow length during dynamic injection molding were studied. The processing conditions include injection velocity, injection pressure, mold temperature, vibration frequency, and vibration amplitude. The result shows that the maximum flow length can be improved by the dynamic injection molding. Especially at the lower injection pressure, the maximum flow length can be improved about 15%. From the curves of cavity pressure, we found that the cavity pressure undulated regularly in the dynamic filling phase, which is conduced by the screw vibration. During dynamic injection molding, the viscosity of the polymer flow reduces, and the capability of mold filling improves. 相似文献

起伏振动下气液两相流摩擦压降的准确计算对海洋核动力的发展有重要意义。实验研究了不同振动和流动工况下30°倾斜上升管气液两相流摩擦压降的变化规律。结果表明,起伏振动下摩擦压降波动幅度和平均值显著增大。与静止状态相比,起伏振动下摩擦压降的多尺度熵值除泡状流外明显增大,且呈现大幅振荡现象,流动不稳定性更加显著。静止状态摩擦压降模型计算结果与实验值误差较大,现有模型对于起伏振动状态不适用。分析流动和振动参数对摩擦阻力系数的影响,发现其与均相雷诺数成反比,与振动幅值以及频率成正比。以大量实验数据为基础,建立了适用于起伏振动状态的摩擦阻力系数计算关系式,计算与实验结果吻合较好。 相似文献

AbstractWhen a sinusoidal vibration was superimposed in parallel on the flow direction of a polymer melt being extruded through a capillary, the shear stress and shear rate of the polymer melt were analysed with a constant velocity type dynamic rheometer of capillary (CVDRC) devised by the authors. By measuring the instantaneous data of capillary entry pressure, capillary volume flux (or absolute velocity of piston rod) and their phase difference in a vibrating force field, it was found that the relationship between the pulsating amplitude value coefficient of entry pressure and that of volumetric flowrate was an approximate power series; the wall shear stress and wall shear rate of low density polyethylene (LDPE) melt extruded dynamically under various amplitudes and frequencies also exhibited a non-linear proportional relationship. 相似文献

A self‐made dynamic capillary rheometer (DCR) was designed to investigate the dynamic viscoelastic characteristic of polypropylene (PP) melt during the pulsatile pressure extrusion. A vibration force field was parallel superposed upon steady shear flow in this DCR by means of a vibration driven piston. During the pulsatile pressure extruding process in DCR, the PP melt displayed apparent viscoelasticity. The experiment results proved the pressure pulsatile extrusion could reduce the viscosity of polymer melts effectively. The phase difference between the shear stress and the shear rate decreased with the superposed vibration. But, at large amplitude conditions, the viscosity has an increasing tendency. BACKGROUND: A low‐frequency vibration‐assisted injection‐molding (VAIM) device was developed to explore the morphology of high‐density polyethylene (HDPE) injection moldings. Scanning electron microscopy, wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry were used to characterize structure‐property relationships of final products prepared under different VAIM processing conditions (vibration frequency and vibration pressure amplitude) with conventional injection molding for comparison. RESULTS: It was found that increasing the vibration frequency at constant vibration pressure amplitude was beneficial for obtaining ‘shish‐kebab’ structures in the core region of VAIM specimens, and increasing the vibration pressure amplitude at constant vibration frequency was a prerequisite for achieving HDPE specimens with large‐scale lamellas, more pronounced orientation and high crystallinity. CONCLUSION: Both preferred orientation lamellas and increased crystallinity allow one to obtain strong injection moldings with the application of the melt vibration technique.
