为解决中小物流企业在基于GIS的物流信息系统应用中存在的问题,分析了传统的物流信息系统和基于GIS技术平台的物流信息系统的架构,指出了各自的优点及存在的缺陷.在此基础上,设计了一种面向服务的组件式GIS物流系统四层架构,以ArcSDE和ArcIMS为GIS开发平台给出了具体的部署方案.阐述了基础设施层、空间信息支撑层、业务服务支撑层、业务应用层及层中各组件之间的相互关系.以此开发的原型系统表明了架构方案的业务处理敏捷、系统接口松散耦合、功能构件可组合复用等特点.  相似文献

Innovation in its essence is an information processing activity. Thus, a major factor impacting the success of new product development (NPD) programs, especially those responding to global markets, is the firm's ability to access, share and apply NPD information, which is often widely dispersed, functionally, geographically and culturally. To this end, an IT‐communication strength is essential, one that is nested in an internal organizational environment that ensures its effective functioning. Using organizational information processing (OIP) theory as a framework, superior global NPD program performance is shown to result from an effective IT/Communication strength and the commitment components of the firm's internal environment, which are hypothesized to moderate this relationship. IT/Communication strength is identified in this study in terms of two components including the IT/Comm Infrastructure and IT/Comm Capability of the firm, whereas the moderating internal environment of the firm incorporates Resource Commitment and Senior Management Involvement. Data from a major empirical study of international NPD programs (382 SBUs) are used to develop and test this model. Based on a hierarchical regression analysis, the results are substantially supportive, with some unexpected findings. These shed light on the complex relationships of the firm's internal environment, OIP competency, and global NPD program performance.  相似文献

The present generation of general circulation models (GCM) use parameterized cumulus schemes and run at hydrostatic grid resolutions. To improve the representation of cloud-scale moist processes and land–atmosphere interactions, a global, Multi-scale Modeling Framework (MMF) coupled to the Land Information System (LIS) has been developed at NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center. The MMF–LIS has three components, a finite-volume (fv) GCM (Goddard Earth Observing System Ver. 4, GEOS-4), a 2D cloud-resolving model (Goddard Cumulus Ensemble, GCE), and the LIS, representing the large-scale atmospheric circulation, cloud processes, and land surface processes, respectively. The non-hydrostatic GCE model replaces the single-column cumulus parameterization of fvGCM. The model grid is composed of an array of fvGCM gridcells each with a series of embedded GCE models. A horizontal coupling strategy, GCE ↔ fvGCM ↔ Coupler ↔ LIS, offered significant computational efficiency, with the scalability and I/O capabilities of LIS permitting land–atmosphere interactions at cloud-scale. Global simulations of 2007–2008 and comparisons to observations and reanalysis products were conducted. Using two different versions of the same land surface model but the same initial conditions, divergence in regional, synoptic-scale surface pressure patterns emerged within two weeks. The sensitivity of large-scale circulations to land surface model physics revealed significant functional value to using a scalable, multi-model land surface modeling system in global weather and climate prediction.  相似文献

Oscillatory and synchronized neural activities are commonly found in the brain, and evidence suggests that many of them are caused by global feedback. Their mechanisms and roles in information processing have been discussed often using purely feedforward networks or recurrent networks with constant inputs. On the other hand, real recurrent neural networks are abundant and continually receive information-rich inputs from the outside environment or other parts of the brain. We examine how feedforward networks of spiking neurons with delayed global feedback process information about temporally changing inputs. We show that the network behavior is more synchronous as well as more correlated with and phase-locked to the stimulus when the stimulus frequency is resonant with the inherent frequency of the neuron or that of the network oscillation generated by the feedback architecture. The two eigenmodes have distinct dynamical characteristics, which are supported by numerical simulations and by analytical arguments based on frequency response and bifurcation theory. This distinction is similar to the class I versus class II classification of single neurons according to the bifurcation from quiescence to periodic firing, and the two modes depend differently on system parameters. These two mechanisms may be associated with different types of information processing.  相似文献

伴随着多媒体采集和处理设备成本的不断降低,以及处理目标的不断复杂化,多媒体信息系统正朝着大规模数据分析和管理系统靠拢,因此如何有效支持实时分布式多媒体信息所需的实时采集、压缩、传输、处理、描述、反馈与存档,以及后期的浏览与检索,已经成为多媒体计算研究的重要问题。为了有效支持实时分布式多媒体信息的实时采集、传输、处理、描述、存档等的需要,在分析动态上下文环境下实时分布式多媒体系统对底层采集、压缩和传输以及信息的表达和存储的普遍需求的基础上,提出并实现了一个通用的实时分布式媒体信息处理框架,以便为实时分布多媒体系统提供基础服务支持。该框架包括软件平台和信息系统两部分。前者用于将逻辑功能与物理设备隔离开来,完成实时采集、压缩、传输和解压等功能;后者通过统一信息表达格式,将数据与特定的采集处理模块隔离开来,同时还提供了信息管理的功能,以便于用户后期检索。这两部分共同将多媒体系统所需要的实时采集、处理、压缩、描述、反馈与存档以及离线浏览与检索等服务融入一致、统一的框架中。基于该框架的会议系统的相关实验表明,该框架具有良好的开放性、可配置性和可扩展性。  相似文献

Smart environments are heterogeneous architectures with a broad range of heterogeneous electronic devices that are with high in processing capabilities for computing, considering low power consumption. They have the ability to record information about the behavior of the people by means of their interactions with the objects within an environment. This kind of environments are providing solutions to address some of the problems associated with the growing size and ageing of the population by means of the recognition of activities that can offer monitoring activities of daily living and adapting the environment. In order to deploy low-cost smart environments and reduce the computational complexity for activity recognition, it is a key issue to know the subset of sensors which are relevant for activity recognition. By using feature selection methods to optimize the subset of initial sensors in a smart environment, this paper proposes the adaption of the extended belief rule-based inference methodology (RIMER+) to handle data binary sensors and its use as the suitable classifier for activity recognition that keeps the accuracy of results even in situations where an essential sensor fails. A case study is presented in which a smart environment dataset for activity recognition with 14 sensors is set. Two optimizations with 7 and 10 sensors are obtained with two feature selection methods in which the adaptation of RIMER+ for smart environment provides an encouraged performance against the most popular classifiers in terms of robustness.  相似文献

This paper examines global logistics problems experienced by a third‐party logistics (3PL) company that is responsible for transporting goods from one country to another by road, as well as warehousing goods in two countries. Because of the limited fleet capacity, the logistics company has to hire additional trucks from two countries in advance. However, customer's shipment information is uncertain, and the accurate shipment notice is only available on the shipping day. This paper proposes a dual‐response logistics strategy to be as responsive as possible for coping with short shipment notice time and uncertainty involved. A two‐stage stochastic mixed 0–1 programming model is formulated to satisfy customer demand while minimizing the total logistics cost. A series of experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed stochastic model. Compared to the corresponding expected value model, the stochastic model provides a more responsive and less expensive global logistics system.  相似文献
