The design of reduced-order controllers is considered for stabilization control, covariance upper bound control, linear quadratic regulator, ∞ control, H∞ control, positive real control problems and robust H2 control, robust ∞ control and robust H∞ control problems for generalized linear plants without any additional assumptions. An upper bound of the order is obtained with which the (robust) controllers can guarantee stability constraints and satisfy the same design objectives as the so-called "full-order" controllers. A unified linear-matrix-inequality ( LMI) based approach to reduced-order (robust) controller design for all the above-mentioned problems is provided. It us shown that each of these problems is solvable if and only if two uncoupled LMIs with an LMI-type constraint have a pair of positive definite solutions, one of which has a lower dimension than that given by Skelton and iwasaki (1995). A μ analysis and μ synthesis method for nonlinear robust control systems was presented. The nonlinear robust control problem using μ method was described. By means of the nonlinear state feedback and state coordinates transformation, many uncertain nonlinear systems can be transformed as a linear fractional transformation (LFT) on the generalized plant and the uncertainty. Based on the LFT, a linear robust controller can be obtained by the D-K iteration and then a corresponding nonlinear robust control law is constructed. An example was given in the paper. There exists a large class of nonlinear systems with uncertainties, such as hydraulic turbine governors, whose robust control problem is hard to solve by means of the existing robust control approaches. For this class of systems, this work presents a dynamic extending H∞ controller via both differential geometry and H∞ theory. Furthermore, based on differential game theory, it has been verified that the proposed control strategy has robustness in the sense that the disturbance can be attenuated effectively because the L2-gain from the disturbance input to the regulation output signal could be reduced to any given level. Thirdly, a robust control strategy for hydraulic turbine governor is designed according to the proposed extending H∞ control method, and has been developed into a real control equipment. Finally the field experiments are carried out which show clearly that the developed control equipment can enhance transient stability of power systems more effectively than the conventional controller.  相似文献

To track and control the changes of process quality attributes in multistage machining processes (MMPs), an e-quality control (e-QC) model is proposed. The e-QC model is defined as a quality information service node with e-formalizing technology, whose input/output and intermediate process (that is IPO) are known to other nodes, and its implemention in MMPs is provided. In order to establish the e-QC model, a measuring network is constructed to acquire the original quality data, and the changes of process quality attributes are monitored and diagnosed by the integrated quality analysis tools attached to the e-QC, which can be tracked by information template network in real time. Furthermore, a hierarchical control method is adopted to coordinate e-QCs, in which the quality loss and adjusting cost are used to quantify the opportunities for e-QCs to improve process quality. At last, a prototype is developed to verify the proposed methods. In the paper, the problem of H decentralized state feedback control for large-scale systems is described. An algorithm is proposed which uses the method of a feasible direction matrix. The algorithm only requires the solution of an algebraic Riccati equation (ARE) and makes the H-norm of the closed-loop transfer function matrix from disturbance inputs to controlled outputs less than a given constant which ensure the stability of the overall controlled system at each iteration. The given example shows that the convergence of the algorithm is satisfactory. An approach is proposed to design decentralized state feedback suboptimal controllers for LTI interconnected large scale systems. The parametrization theorem of decentralized robust state feedback controllers is developed in two steps and the design condition for the feedback gain is in the form of matrix inequalities. An iterative solution algorithm based on linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques is proposed to obtain the decentralized feedback gain. The given examples are taken to show the application and the convergence of the algorithm.
