By approaching the counter electrode to the carbon nanotubes (CNT) emitter, remarkable reduction of the cathode operating voltage has been accomplished in the under-gate CNT cathode structure. The peak emission current density of 2.5 mA/cm/sup 2/, which is sufficient for high brightness CNT field emission display, was obtained at the cathode-to-gate voltage of 57 V when the CNT-to-counter electrode gap was 2.2 /spl mu/m. The gate current was less than 10% of the anode current. The CNT cathode with low driving voltage can help the cost-effective field emission display implemented. 相似文献

While vanadium oxides have many attractive pseudocapacitive features for energy storage, their applications are severely limited by the poor electronic conductivity and low specific surface area. To overcome these limitations, a scalable, free‐standing film electrode composed of intertwined V2O5 nanowires and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using a blade coating process has been prepared. The unique architecture of this hybrid electrode greatly facilitates electronic transport along CNTs while maintaining rapid ion diffusion within V2O5 nanowires and fast electron transfer across the V2O5/CNTs interfaces. When tested in a neutral aqueous electrolyte, this hybrid film electrode demonstrates a volumetric capacitance of ≈460 F cm?3. Moreover, a symmetric capacitor based on two identical film electrodes displays a wide operation voltage window of 1.6 V, delivering a volumetric energy density as high as 41 Wh L?1. 相似文献

AnEL-PC image converter has been designed to convert the near-IR radiation obtained from light-emitting semiconductor diodes into visible radiation. In addition to wavelength conversion, a quantum gain was also obtained. High contrast ratios are shown to be dependent upon photoconductor capacitance. Concentric, noncoplanar electrode structures have been utilized to achieve photoconductor capacitance values several orders of magnitude smaller than those of a correspondingEL element. Data are shown describing the intensifier operation as a function of applied voltage and frequency. The input-output transfer function shows operation over three orders of magnitude of input intensity. Peak optical gains of 150 are reported. 相似文献

采用化学共沉淀法制备出超级电容器用掺CeO2的MnO2电极材料,通过XRD、SEM对样品进行了表征,研究了掺杂量对MnO2电极稳定性能的影响。结果表明,产物主相为α-MnO2,粒度分布较均匀,在50~100nm;在6mol/L的KOH电解液中,该掺杂MnO2电极材料具有优良的电容行为和循环稳定性能。当掺CeO2量为10%(与MnO2的质量比)时,在电流密度为250mA/g时,比电容量达257.68F/g;循环500次,容量仅衰减1.18%。 相似文献
