The last few years have witnessed a large increase in use of computer graphics to simulate the robotic performance. The utilization of graphic simulation and programming has greatly enhanced the design, control, and productivity of robotic applications, especially in manufacturing. When designing and controlling robotic systems, computer graphics can be used to evaluate how the robot will react to and perform within the production environment before significant time, capital, and expense are incurred. Graphic simulation enables the designer not only to select the right robot but also to program it to perform the task in the most efficient way. The purpose of this paper is to review the recent advances in graphic techniques and to evaluate available software packages for simulating the motion of robots. The equipment associated with the software packages is also discussed.  相似文献

Many design problems can be formulated in terms of a number of nonlinear equations and inequalities. A solution of such equations is called a design. In the present paper a method is given for the random generation of a large number of designs, which can be ordered according to some criterion. Using highspeed computer calculation, a large number of random designs is generated from which the designer can make a choice. A trend in selecting certain designs can be imposed: A requirement can be optimized or an optimal compromise between two or more conflicting requirements can be determined. An arbitrary number of variables can be specified. An interactive program has been written and implemented on a number of interactive computer graphics systems. Using the graphic functions, search areas in which the optimum is expected to lie can be modified interactively, thus increasing the speed of convergence. Information about the equations can be given either interactively or in a file, therefore equations can be given either interactively or in a file, therefore relieving the user from the task of programming. The program has been applied to the design of gear pairs, steam condensors, and bearings.  相似文献

This topic is based on Auto CAD graphic input environment.It takes the STL format graphic files as the data exchange interface to do the research of STL interactive 3D realistic graphics displaying content.Through the analysis of the STL file format,in VC++6.0 programming environment,class if stream in the standard IO library was used for object class definition.And get line functions in the string class were called to read and bind STL file line by line.In data processing module,draw triangles in Open GL programming technology was applied to realize the visual display of the STL graphics,with the corresponding 3D entity data generated.Open GL graphics processing technologies were applied to display 3D graphics from STL files input or realistic program module,which contain the graphic transformation,light,materials,et al.Test reports were shared based on the test of the application system.Finally the program design of STL graphics realistic display system was completed based on research work,which has certain theoretical and practical significance in the aspect of engineering application.  相似文献

通过将计算机协同工作CSCW与嵌入式开发相结合,对智能移动终端设备环境下多用户电子白板模型进行了研究、设计和实现.从系统设计、并发控制和图形交互等方面对移动电子白板mWB(mobile Whiteboard)设计技术与实现要点进行详细讨论,并给出了实验分析.所提出的模型系统,使移动终端用户可以方便地进行图形交互和协同工作,初步实验证明该系统有效可行.  相似文献

DISCRIM is an interactive computer graphics program that dissects mixtures of normal or lognormal distributions. The program was written in an effort to obtain a more satisfactory solution to the dissection problem than that offered by a graphical or numerical approach alone. The article presents a new topic in path planning for mobile robots, region filling. which involves a sweeping operation to fill a whole region with random obstacle avoidance. The approaches for global strip filling and local path searching driven by sensory data procedures are developed. A computer graphic simulation is used to verify the filling strategy available. The research was developed from the program for the design of a robot lawn mower. However, the solution appears generic. The significance is that a problem of wide application and generic solutions for general autonomous mobile robots have been developed.  相似文献

It is often acknowledged that the main advantage of computer aided architectural design (CAAD) systems is that they can be used by architects to quickly and accurately evaluate alternative design solutions using a variety of performance measures which would be too time consuming to apply by hand calculation.To gain the full advantage of interactive CAAD requires the architect to use a computer terminal with graphic capabilities so that he can create and modify his design geometry in a form which can also be directly interpreted by the evaluate routines within the CAAD system. However, it is suggested that it is often difficult for the user of such conventional, graphic, CAAD systems to conceptualise the building being designed by only inspecting and manipulating drawings displayed on the terminal screen.This problem may be accentuated when building users who are not professional architects wish to use a CAAD system so as to participate in the design process.A computerised building block system (BBS) is proposed with which the designer can physically build a model of his design as he would if he was using ‘Lego’1 blocks. Such a physical representation may allow him to evaluate many of the visual and spatial qualities of his design in a more direct way than could be achieved using computer graphics. However, because the electronic system can ‘read’ the arrangement of blocks and input this information into a computer, the user's design can be evaluated with the same performance measures that are used in existing CAAD systems.  相似文献
