We propose a multi-agent-based architecture for the management of Emergency Supply Chains (ESCs), in which each zone is controlled by an agent. A Decision Support System (DSS) states and solves, in a distributed way, the scheduling problem for the delivery of resources from the ESC supplying zones to the ESC crisis-affected areas. Thanks to the agents’ cooperation, the DSS provides a scheduling plan that guarantees an effective response to emergencies. The approach is applied to two real cases: the Mali and the Japan crisis. Simulations are based on real data that have been validated by a team of logisticians from Airbus Defense and Space. 相似文献

The use of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) to manage urban runoff and contribute to environmental and landscape improvement is now widely known, but its application is still limited in many regions, like in Mediterranean countries. In addition, there is a lack of Decision Support Tools that consider all their benefits in the decision making process in a clear and integrated holistic way.In this paper, the E2STORMED Decision Support Tool is presented. This tool analyses the impact of stormwater management in the urban environment and introduces energetic and environmental criteria in the decision making process. Therefore, it aims to fill in the existing “gap” between SuDS manuals and guidelines and regional and local decision makers, since it quantifies SuDS benefits and includes them in the comparison of different stormwater scenarios. Since agriculture is the major water consumer, web services have been developed to provide the farmers with considerate irrigation suggestions. This study improves an existing irrigation web service, based on the IRRINET model, by describing a protocol for the field implementation of a fully automated irrigation system. We demonstrate a Fuzzy Decision Support System to improve the irrigation, given the information on the crop and site characteristics. It combines a predictive model of soil moisture and an inference system computing the most appropriate irrigation action to keep this above a prescribed “safe” level. Three crops were used for testing the system: corn, kiwi, and potato. This Fuzzy Decision Support System (FDSS) favourably compared with an existing agricultural model and data-base (IRRINET). The sensitivity of the FDSS was tested with random rainfall and also in this extended case the water saving was confirmed. 相似文献
