In this study, we focus on the click-through rate for the advertising effectiveness to examine the effects of design factors on animated online advertisings. A factorial experiment with repeated measuring was designed to collect a set of serially correlated click-through data. Ad types, positions, animation lengths, and exposure times were considered as the independent factors in this study. The generalized estimating equations (GEE) approach is introduced to the logistic regression models with correlated binary data. A goodness-of-fit statistic, quasi-likelihood information criterion (QIC) for data correlated models will be used for evaluating GEE-constructed models. The results showed a logistic regression model with order effect, two-factor interaction effect of ad types and ad positions, as well as ad positions and animation lengths are statistically significant. In addition, the GEE model with AR(1) correlation structures was well verified by the data. 相似文献

Previous research on Internet recruitment has made the implicit assumption that recruitment websites influence viewers’ opinions of recruiting organizations. This study tested this assumption using a pretest/posttest design. Findings revealed that participants’ organizational favorability, image as employer, and organizational attractiveness perceptions were affected by their viewing of organizational recruitment websites. Greater increases in favorable organizational evaluations from the pretest measures to the posttest measures occurred with organizations maintaining websites that were easy to navigate and/or that were appealing. Contrary to predictions made by signaling theory, recruitment websites had similar effects on the organizational impressions of all individuals, regardless of their familiarity with the organizations maintaining the recruitment websites that they viewed. 相似文献

针对网络课程知识点相对孤立、共享性与重用性差、学习资源查找困难、不能提供个性化服务等问题,提出使用基于本体查询推理的解决方法,设计了检索、查询和推理的功能模块和工作流程,并综合运用了Jena和SPARQL实现了相应的原型系统。通过具体的课程本体进行测试,验证了该解决方法的有效性和可行性。该系统能够将网络课程知识内容有机组织到一起,达到共享、重用的效果,可以提供个性化的学习服务,为进一步开发智能化的网络课程平台提供了条件。 相似文献

In Face on Facebook: Brooklyn's Drag Community and Sociotechnical Practices of Online Communication

Recently, Brooklyn has seen an explosion of drag culture, with dozens of performers taking the stage in any given week. Social media plays a vital role for members of this community, simultaneously allowing self‐promotion and community solidarity. Drawing on focus group interviews, we analyze the communication practices of Brooklyn's drag performers, examining both the advantages and drawbacks of social media platforms. Using conceptual frameworks of faceted identity and relational labor, our discussion focuses on affordances and constraints of multifaceted identity in online contexts and theories of seamful design. We contend that by analyzing online communication practices of drag performers, it becomes possible to identify gaps between embedded ideologies of mainstream social media technologies and the localized values of outsider communities. 相似文献

Based on previous research in the field of cognitive psychology, highlighting the facilitatory effects of titles on several text-related activities, this paper looks at the extent to which titles reflect text content. An exploratory study of real-life technical documents investigated the content of their Subject lines, which linguistic analyses had led us to regard as titles. The study showed that most of the titles supplied by the writers failed to represent the documents' contents and that most users failed to detect this lack of validity. 相似文献
