我们研制并测试了可层叠的微通道致冷式激光棒二级管泵源组件,运用于条形激光器高占空比下的直接面激励。由41个二极管组件形成一个叠层,给出一个13.5cm ̄2的泵源阵列,它能产生峰值功率3750W,平均功率1000W,平均照度75W/cm ̄2。已经做出了有80个二极管的组件,高平均功率,全内反射,面对面激励的Nd:YAG激光器。在脉冲重复频率2.5kHz,脉冲电流宽度100μs条件下,获得的平均功率为275W。  相似文献

通过放电引发或反应气体快速混合引发以放热化学反应为基础的卤化氢和卤化(HCl、DF、HBr)激光器发射3~5μm波长的激光。由于该光谱区域的各种波长与大气窗相符,很适合用于通过大气的长距离光束传输。几年前,法国马可西斯的激光工业公司(CILAS)发展了在HF波长上能产生600W平均功率和DF波长上能产生250W平均功率的HF-DF激光器。然而这一激光器的长期运转需要气体连续再生和混合。对只要求低平均功率的实验来说,可采用另外途径,即对卤化氢和卤化分子光泵。气体使用和泵浦源的选择可以复盖3~5μm波长区之间的各种光谱。该途…  相似文献

An average laser power of 6.7 W has been obtained from a small-bore CuBr laser with a constructive active volume of 4.77 cm3 , i.e., a record specific average power of 1.4 W/cm3 for multikilohertz operation of copper vapor lasers has been achieved. The paper presents the study of the CuBr laser energy characteristics using capacitively coupled discharge excitation. We have studied the effect of the addition of HBr on laser performance for gas discharge tubes of different bore diameter at various input power conditions. When adding HBr pulse and average output power as well as laser efficiency more than double increase due to the shortening of the current pulse rising time and its duration. The total maximum average lasing power of 3.7 W was obtained at 0.27% efficiency. In the paper, we also notice that when adding admixtures capacitively coupled discharge pumping is superior to traditional glow discharge pumping.  相似文献

Experimental characteristics of a continuously pulsed copper halide laser with a cable-capacitor Blumlein discharge circuit are reported. Quartz laser tubes 1 m in length and 1.5 and 2.5 cm in diameter were employed to study the effects of the electrical circuit, lasant, and buffer gas on laser performance. Measured properties of the Blumlein circuit are compared with an analytic solution for an idealized circuit. Both CuCl and CuBr with neon and helium buffer gas were studied. A maximum average power of 12.5 W was obtained with a 1.5 nF capacitor charged to 8 kV and discharged at 31 kHz with CuCl and neon buffer gas at 0.7 kPa in a 2.5-cm-diam tube. A maximum efficiency of 0.72 percent was obtained at 9 W average power. Measurements of the radial distribution of the power in the laser beam and the variation of laser power at 510.6 and 578.2 nm with halide vapor density are also reported. Double and continuously pulsed laser characteristics are compared, and the role of copper metastable level atoms in limiting the laser pulse energy density is discussed.  相似文献

基于研制实用化CuBr激光器的目的,利用数值模拟的方法,结合实验数据,讨论了CuBr激光动力学中放电管等离子体参数变化与等离子体阻抗变化的内在联系,给出了CuBr激光管在不同放电电路各参数的表达式,与CuBr激光器动力学模型相结合,得到放电管等离子体阻抗动态演变的结果.得出放电管导通特性在不同放电线路组合中相同的结果,与实验结果完全一致.  相似文献

为解决大功率溴化亚铜激光放电管中声共振造成的输出功率不稳定问题,通过数值分析的方法给出了溴化亚铜激光放电管内径向声波振动的数学模型,并获得了激光放电管内声波径向驻波分布的解析表达式,分析了放电频率与激光管固有频率的关系,明确了声共振是导致激光介质重新分布并对输出功率产生影响的原因.由此得出结论:寻求一个在声共振本征基频附近的放电频率,并且能够使激光器稳定工作,是提高激光输出功率及提高激光器效率的一种有效手段.  相似文献

A comparative study has been carried out of the output characteristics, electric parameters, and main kinetic plasma processes concerning CuBr laser performance during the excitation pulse. Four electric circuits were used for CuBr vapor laser excitation: WPC (without peaking capacitor); OC (ordinary circuit, i.e., with a peaking capacitor); IPC (interacting peaking circuits), and IC (interacting circuits). The calculated and experimental values are in very good agreement. The improvement of the CuBr laser performance from WPC- to IC-excitation (the laser power and efficiency increase three times) is mainly attributed to the increased physical laser efficiency, which concerns the electrooptic energy conversion with regard to plasma kinetic processes  相似文献
