Metrological facilities for measuring hardness

Information on the developed and improved State Standards of hardness is presented. New standard technical documentation on methods and instruments for measuring hardness is described, and the results of international key comparisons of the standards are presented. Metrological analysis of multichannel TV methods of measuring object geometrical parameters

A metrological analysis is presented of a multichannel TV method of measuring the geometrical parameters of an object on the basis of several TV cameras separated in space by fixed distances and forming a geometrically connected system. Expressions are given for the error and threshold sensitivity of this device. Specifications are formulated for the equipment and components of the measurement systems.     

Metrological assurance of measurements of geometric parameters of articles by means of nondestructive testing

The basic results of studies carried out at the All-Russia Research Institute of Metrological Service in the area of metrological assurance of measurements of the thickness of coatings and sheet materials, wear of wire rope, and the parameters of defects are presented.
