In this paper, we consider delay-dependent stability conditions of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with discrete and distributed delays. Although many kinds of stability conditions for fuzzy systems with discrete delays have already been obtained, almost no stability condition for fuzzy systems with distributed delays has appeared in the literature. This is also true in case of the robust stability for uncertain fuzzy systems with distributed delays. Here we employ a generalized Lyapunov functional to obtain delay-dependent stability conditions of fuzzy systems with discrete and distributed delays. We introduce some free weighting matrices to such a Lyapunov functional in order to reduce the conservatism in stability conditions. These techniques lead to generalized and less conservative stability conditions. We also consider the robust stability of fuzzy time-delay systems with uncertain parameters. Applying the same techniques made on the stability conditions, we obtain delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the robust stability of uncertain fuzzy systems with discrete and distributed delays. Moreover, we consider the state feedback stabilization. Based on stability and robust stability conditions, we obtain conditions for the state feedback controller to stabilize the fuzzy time-delay systems. Finally, we give two examples to illustrate our results. Delay-dependent stability conditions obtained here are shown to guarantee a wide stability region.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new approach to analyse the stability of a general family of nonlinear positive discrete time-delay systems. First, we introduce a new class of nonlinear positive discrete time-delay systems, which generalises some existing discrete time-delay systems. Second, through a new technique that relies on the comparison and mathematical induction method, we establish explicit criteria for stability and instability of the systems. Three numerical examples are given to illustrate the feasibility of the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the stability criteria, sufficient conditions that guarantee the robust stability of linear structured or unstructured variation of discrete time-delay systems subjected to the given bounds of nonlinear function. Both single and composite nonlinear discrete systems with multiple time delays are considered and each of these results is expressed by a succinct scalar inequality and independent of delay time.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider robust stability and stabilization of uncertain Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy time-delay systems where uncertainties come into the state and input matrices. Some stability conditions and robust stability conditions for fuzzy time-delay systems have already been obtained in the literature. However, those conditions are rather conservative and do not guarantee the stability of a wide class of fuzzy systems. This is true in case of designing stabilizing controllers for fuzzy time-delay systems and it thus leads to a conservative fuzzy controller design as well. We first consider rather relaxed robust stability conditions of uncertain fuzzy systems. To this end, we introduce an auxiliary system to the original fuzzy time-delay system to obtain generalized delay-dependent stability conditions. Such an auxiliary system has some arbitrary matrices that generalize not only the system representation but also delay-dependent stability conditions. Conditions we obtain here are delay-dependent conditions that depend on the upper bound of time-delay, and are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, we compare our delay-dependent stability conditions with other conditions in the literature, and show that our conditions guarantee the stability of a wider class of systems than others. Next, we consider the robust stabilization problem with memoryless and delayed state feedback controllers. Based on our generalized robust stability conditions, we obtain delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the closed-loop system to be robustly stable, and give a design method of robustly stabilizing controllers. Finally, we give three examples that illustrate our results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with stability of linear time-delay systems of both retarded and neutral types by using some new simple quadratic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. These Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals consist of two parts. One part comes from some existing Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals employed in [Han, Q.-L. (2005a). Absolute stability of time-delay systems with sector-bounded nonlinearity. Automatica, 41, 2171-2176; Han, Q.-L. (2005b). A new delay-dependent stability criterion for linear neutral systems with norm-bounded uncertainties in all system matrices. International Journal of Systems Science, 36, 469-475]. The other part is constructed by uniformly dividing the discrete delay interval into multiple segments and choosing proper functionals with different weighted matrices corresponding to different segments. Then using these new simple quadratic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, some new discrete delay-dependent stability criteria are derived for both retarded systems and neutral systems. It is shown that these criteria for retarded systems and neutral systems are always less conservative than the ones in Han (2005a) and Han (2005b) cited above, respectively. Numerical examples also show that the results obtained in this paper significantly improve the estimate of the discrete delay limit for stability over some other existing results.  相似文献

The delay-dependent H-infinity analysis and H-infinity control problems for continuous time-delay systems are studied. By introducing an equality with some free weighting matrices, an improved criterion of delay-dependent stability with H-infinity performance for such systems is presented, and a criterion of existence and some design methods of delay-dependent H-infinity controller for such systems are proposed in term of a set of matrix inequalities, which is solved efficiently by an iterative algorithm. Further, the corresponding results for the delay-dependent robust H-infinity analysis and robust H-infinity control problems for continuous time-delay uncertain systems are given. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method by comparing with the other existing results.  相似文献

This paper gives easily verifiable sufficient conditions of robust asymptotic stability of linear time-delay systems subject to parametric unstructured or highly-structured perturbations. The criteria given in this paper are delay-independent or delay-dependent. The considered delay may be time-varying. An estimation of the transient behaviour of the studied systems is also provided (exponential rate of convergence).Scalar or vectorial inequalities involving Hurwitz matrices, matrix measures and norms constitute the mathematical foundations of the exposed results.  相似文献

In this paper, robust fuzzy model predictive control of a class of nonlinear discrete systems subjected to time delays and persistent disturbances is investigated. Based on the modeling method of delay difference inclusions, nonlinear discrete time-delay systems can be represented by T–S fuzzy systems comprised of piecewise linear delay difference equations. Moreover, Lyapunov–Razumikhin function (LRF), instead of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), is employed for time-delay systems due to its ability to reflect system original state space and its advantages in controller synthesis and computation. The robust positive invariance and input-to-state stability with respect to disturbance under such circumstances are investigated. A robust constraint set is adopted that the system state is converged to this set round the desired point. In addition, the controller synthesis conditions are derived by solving a set of matrix inequalities. Simulation results show that the proposed approach can be successfully applied to the well-known continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) systems subjected to time delay.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a class of linear parameter-varying discrete time-delay (LPVDTD) systems where the state-space matrices depend on time-varying parameters and the delay is unknown but bounded. We treat both notions of quadratic stability based on a single quadratic Lyapunov function and affine quadratic stability using parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions. In both cases, we develop LMI-based results of stability testing for time-delay as well as delayless discrete-time systems. Then, we design state-feedback controllers which guarantee quadratic stability and an induced l 2-norm bound. For the case of dynamic output feedback control, we use a parameter-independent quadratic Lyapunov-Krasovskii function to develop LMI-based solvability conditions which are evaluated at the extreme points of the admissible parameter set. Throughout the paper, complementary results for linear parameter-varying discrete (LPVD) systems without delay are presented.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of linear discrete time-delay systems. New discrete inequalities for single summation and double summation are presented to estimate summation terms in the forward difference of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF), which are more general than some commonly used summation inequalities. Through the construction of an augmented LKF, improved delay-dependent stability criteria for discrete time-delay systems are established. Based on this, a time-delayed controller is derived for linear discrete time-delay systems. Finally, the advantages of the proposed criteria are revealed from the solutions of the numerical examples.  相似文献

Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem associated with induced norm of matrix and matrix measure techniques, this paper addresses the robust stability analysis for linear time-delay systems with uncertainties. Several new criteria, expressed by concise inequalities, are presented to guarantee the robust stability and stability with a specified decaying rate for the above systems. Both nonlinear norm-bounded and highly structured parametric uncertainties are discussed. 本文提出一种新的时滞划分方法—变时滞划分法,以解决连续延时Takagi-Sugeno模糊系统的稳定性和镇定性问题.不同于已有的文献,用可变参数将时变时滞区间[0,d(t)]划分为若干个可变子区间,并得出模糊时滞系统的新的时滞相关稳定性准则.本文提出的新方法能充分利用时滞子区间的内部信息,因此新的时滞相关稳定性准则比以往结果具有更小的保守性.基于Lyapunov稳定性理论,以线性矩阵不等式形式给出T--S模糊系统的新的时滞相关稳定性准则,并将稳定性和镇定性研究结果扩展到具有不确定参数的T--S模糊系统.仿真实例证明了本文方法降低保守性的有效性.  相似文献

研究了一类带参数不确定性和非线性动态的离散时滞系统的鲁棒耗散滤波问题.所给系统中的不确定项是时变未知且范数有界.基于Lyapunov稳定性方法,先对参数已知而带有非线性动态的时滞离散系统,给出渐近稳定判据,然后讨论鲁棒耗散滤波器的存在条件及设计方法.在此基础上进一步考虑参数不确定性情形,将鲁棒耗散滤波器问题转化为参数确定的情况.从而将鲁棒耗散滤波器的设计问题转换为线性矩阵不等式的求解问题.最后给出仿真例子验证所得结果的有效性.  相似文献

In this paper, the exact stability bound for discrete multiple time-delay singularly perturbed systems is examined. The obtained results, based on state space approach for the critical stability criterion of discrete systems, are sufficient conditions for the original system and its reduced subsystems about stability problems.
