In this paper, an event-triggered sliding mode control approach for trajectory tracking problem of nonlinear input affine system with disturbance has been proposed. A second order robotic manipulator system has been modeled into a general nonlinear input affine system. Initially, the global asymptotic stability is ensured with conventional periodic sampling approach for reference trajectory tracking. Then the proposed approach of event-triggered sliding mode control is discussed which guarantees semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness. The proposed control approach guarantees non-accumulation of control updates ensuring lower bounds on inter-event triggering instants avoiding Zeno behavior in presence of the disturbance. The system shows better performance in terms of reduced control updates, ensures system stability which further guarantees optimization of resource usage and cost. The simulation results are provided for validation of proposed methodology for tracking problem by a robotic manipulator. The number of aperiodic control updates is found to be approximately 44% and 61% in the presence of constant and time-varying disturbances respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, a stable adaptive fuzzy-based tracking control is developed for robot systems with parameter uncertainties and external disturbance. First, a fuzzy logic system is introduced to approximate the unknown robotic dynamics by using adaptive algorithm. Next, the effect of system uncertainties and external disturbance is removed by employing an integral sliding mode control algorithm. Consequently, a hybrid fuzzy adaptive robust controller is developed such that the resulting closed-loop robot system is stable and the trajectory tracking performance is guaranteed. The proposed controller is appropriate for the robust tracking of robotic systems with system uncertainties. The validity of the control scheme is shown by computer simulation of a two-link robotic manipulator.  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive nonsingular terminal sliding mode (NTSM) tracking control design for robotic systems using fuzzy wavelet networks. Compared with linear hyperplane-based sliding control, terminal sliding mode controller can provide faster convergence and higher precision control. Therefore, a terminal sliding controller combined with the fuzzy wavelet network, which can accurately approximate unknown dynamics of robotic systems by using an adaptive learning algorithm, is an attractive control approach for robots. In addition, the proposed learning algorithm can on-line tune parameters of dilation and translation of fuzzy wavelet basis functions and hidden-to-output weights. Therefore, a robust control law is used to eliminate uncertainties including the inevitable approximation errors resulted from the finite number of fuzzy wavelet basis functions. The proposed controller requires no prior knowledge about the dynamics of the robot and no off-line learning phase. Moreover, both tracking performance and stability of the closed-loop robotic system can be guaranteed by Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the fuzzy wavelet network-based control approach is illustrated through comparative simulations on a six-link robot manipulator  相似文献

We address the sliding mode control design problem for output reference trajectory tracking problems in the special class of MIMO flat systems known as static feedback linearizable systems. We assume unavailable system state components but rely on available inputs and measurable flat outputs. Each controller will largely ignore state and control input couplings by adopting a standard sliding mode controller scheme derived from the SISO case and used this as decoupled input‐to‐flat‐output model. The standard controller arises from a vastly simplified pure integration, additively perturbed, system. The simplified pure integration system controlled trajectories are shown to be time‐scale homotopically equivalent to those of the nonlinear flat system. The basic sliding surface coordinate function design is approached from the perspective of structural integral reconstructors requiring only the inputs and the flat outputs of the system. Integral structural reconstructors were introduced by Fliess et al for the control of linear SISO and MIMO systems, giving rise to the generalized proportional integral control method. Simulations are presented for SISO and MIMO systems and experimental results are reported for a two‐degree‐of‐freedom fully actuated robotic manipulator.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive terminal sliding mode controller is developed for n-link rigid robotic manipulators with uncertain dynamics. An MIMO terminal sliding mode is defined for the error dynamics of a closed loop robot control system, and an adaptive mechanism is introduced to estimate the unknown parameters of the upper bounds of system uncertainties in the Lyapunov sense. The estimates are then used as controller parameters so that the effects of uncertain dynamics can be eliminated and a finite time error convergence in the terminal sliding mode can be guaranteed. Also, a useful bounded property of the derivative of the inertial matrix is explored, the convergence rate of the terminal sliding variable vector is investigated, and an experiment using a five bar robotic manipulator is carried out in support of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the optimal tracking control for robotic manipulatorswith state constraints and uncertain dynamics is investigated, and a sliding mode-based adaptive tube model predictive control method is proposed. First, utilizing the high-order fully actuated system approach, the nominal model of the robotic manipulator is constructed as the predictive model. Based on the nominal model, a nominal model predictive controller with the sliding mode is designed, which relaxes the terminal constraints, and realizes the accurate and stable tracking of the desired trajectory by the nominal system. Then, an auxiliary controller based on the node-adaptive neural networks is constructed to dynamically compensate nonlinear uncertain dynamics of the robotic manipulator. Furthermore, the estimation deviation between the nominal and actual states is limited to the tube invariant sets. At the same time, the recursive feasibility of nominal model predictive control is verified, and the ultimately uniformly boundedness of all variables is proved according to the Lyapunov theorem. Finally, experiments show that the robotic manipulator can achieve fast and efficient trajectory tracking under the action of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, an optimal adaptive robust PID controller based on fuzzy rules and sliding modes is introduced to present a general scheme to control MIMO uncertain chaotic nonlinear systems. In this control scheme, the gains of the PID controller are updated by using an adaptive mechanism, fuzzy rules, the gradient search method, and the chain rule of differentiation in order to minimize the sliding surfaces of sliding mode control. More precisely, sliding mode control is used as a supervisory controller to provide sufficient control inputs and guarantee the stability of the control approach. To ascertain the parameters of the proposed controller and avoid trial and error, the multi-objective genetic algorithm is employed to augment the performance of proposed controller. The chaotic system of a Duffing-Holmes oscillator and an industrial robotic manipulator are the case studies to evaluate the performance of the proposed control approach. The obtained results of this study regarding both systems are compared with the outcomes of two notable studies in the literature. The results and analysis prove the efficiency of the proposed controller with regard to MIMO uncertain systems having challenging external disturbances in terms of stability, minimum tracking error and optimal control inputs.  相似文献

In this study, a new adaptive synchronised tracking control approach is developed for the operation of multiple robotic manipulators in the presence of uncertain kinematics and dynamics. In terms of the system synchronisation and adaptive control, the proposed approach can stabilise position tracking of each robotic manipulator while coordinating its motion with the other robotic manipulators. On the other hand, the developed approach can cope with kinematic and dynamic uncertainties. The corresponding stability analysis is presented to lay a foundation for theoretical understanding of the underlying issues as well as an assurance for safely operating real systems. Illustrative examples are bench tested to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. In addition, to face the challenging issues, this study provides an exemplary showcase with effectively to integrate several cross boundary theoretical results to formulate an interdisciplinary solution.  相似文献

This paper presents an integral sliding disturbance observer (I-SDOB) to compensate for unknown disturbances for a class of nonlinear systems. To guarantee the existence of a sliding mode for disturbance estimation, the proposed I-SDOB needs only a small switching gain compared with conventional sliding disturbance observers, which leads to further alleviation of chatter. Moreover, the stability analysis of the controller-observer system is given based on the Lyapunov theory. Applications of the proposed scheme to a two-link robotic manipulator have been conducted, and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

A continuous sliding mode control with moving sliding surface for nonlinear systems of arbitrary order is presented in this paper. The sliding surface is moved repetitively toward the target sliding surface in order to ensure that the system trajectory is close to the actual surface during the whole control process. The parameters of sliding mode control are tuned by a fuzzy logic. The proposed procedure reduces the time when the system operates in the approaching phase during which the control performance is deteriorated since the system is more susceptible to external disturbances and model uncertainties. The effectiveness of the presented approach is demonstrated on a control of a flexible robot manipulator arm.  相似文献

This article considers the question of position and force control of three-link elastic robotic systems on a constraint surface in the presence of robot parameter and environmental constraint geometry uncertainties. The approach of this article is applicable to any multi-link elastic robot. A sliding mode control law is derived for the position and force trajectory control of manipulator. Unlike the rigid robots, sliding mode control of an end point gives rise to unstable zero dynamics. Instability of the zero dynamics is avoided by Controlling a point that lies in the neighborhood of the actual end point position. The sliding mode controller accomplishes tracking of the end-effector and force trajectories on the constrained surface; however, the maneuver of the arm causes elastic mode excitation. For point-to-point control on the constraint surface, a stabilizer is designed for the final capture of the terminal state and vibration suppression. Numerical results are presented to show that in the closed-loop system position and force control is accomplished in spite of payload and constraint surface geometry uncertainty. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

This paper presents a robust adaptive control strategy for robot manipulators, based on the coupling of the fuzzy logic control with the so‐called sliding mode control (SMC) approach. The motivation for using SMC in robotics mainly relies on its appreciable features. However, the drawbacks of the conventional SMC, such as chattering effect and required a priori knowledge of the bounds of uncertainties can be destructive. In this paper, these problems are suitably circumvented by adopting a reduced rule base single input fuzzy self tuning decoupled fuzzy proportional integral sliding mode control approach. In this new approach a decoupled fuzzy proportional integral control is used and a reduced rule base single input fuzzy self‐tuning controller as a supervisory fuzzy system is added to adaptively tune the output control gain of the decoupled fuzzy proportional integral control. Moreover, it is proved that the fuzzy control surface of the single‐input fuzzy rule base is very close to the input/output relation of a straight line. Therefore, a varying output gain decoupled fuzzy proportional integral sliding mode control approach using an approximate line equation is then proposed. The stability of the system is guaranteed in the sense of the Lyapunov theorem. Simulations using the dynamic model of a 3DOF planar manipulator with uncertainties show the effectiveness of the approach in high speed trajectory tracking problems. The simulation results that are compared with the results of conventional SMC indicate that the control performance of the robot system is satisfactory and the proposed approach can achieve favorable tracking performance, and it is robust with regard to uncertainties and disturbances. This paper presents a robust optimal sliding‐mode control approach for position tracking of a magnetic levitation system. First, a linear model that represents the nonlinear dynamics of the magnetic levitation system is derived by the feedback linearization technique. Then, the robust optimal sliding‐mode control developed from the linear model is proposed. In the proposed control scheme, the integral sliding‐mode control with robust optimal approach is developed to achieve the features of high performance in position tracking response and robustness to the matched and unmatched uncertainties. Simulation and experimental results from the computer‐controlled magnetic levitation system are illustrated to show the validity of the proposed control approach for practical applications. This article presents a decentralized control scheme for the complex problem of simultaneous position and internal force control in cooperative multiple manipulator systems. The proposed controller is composed of a sliding mode control term and a force robustifying term to simultaneously control the payload's position/orientation as well as the internal forces induced in the system. This is accomplished independently of the manipulators dynamics. Unlike most controllers that do not require prior knowledge of the manipulators dynamics, the suggested controller does not use fuzzy logic inferencing and is computationally inexpensive. Using a Lyapunov stability approach, the controller is proven to be robust in the face of varying system's dynamics. The payload's position/orientation and the internal force errors are also shown to asymptotically converge to zero under such conditions.  相似文献

This article presents the networked control of a robotic anthropomorphic manipulator based on a second-order sliding mode technique, where the control objective is to track a desired trajectory for the manipulator. The adopted control scheme allows an easy and effective distribution of the control algorithm over two networked machines. While the predictability of real-time tasks execution is achieved by the Soft Hard Real-Time Kernel (S.Ha.R.K.) real-time operating system, the communication is established via a standard Ethernet network. The performances of the control system are evaluated under different experimental system configurations using, to perform the experiments, a COMAU SMART3-S2 industrial robot, and the results are analysed to put into evidence the robustness of the proposed approach against possible network delays, packet losses and unmodelled effects.  相似文献
