This paper studies the finite‐time tracking control of nonholonomic systems in chained form with parameter uncertainties, unknown output gains, and mismatched uncertainties. To achieve the finite‐time tracking control of uncertain nonholonomic systems, we propose 2 types of controllers by state and output feedback, respectively. Both of the proposed 2 types of controllers can achieve the finite‐time output tracking control of the nonholonomic systems even in the presence of mismatched uncertainties and/or unknown gains. The effectiveness of our proposed controllers are illustrated with simulation examples. 相似文献

This paper studies the robust output tracking problem of feedback linearizable non-linear control systems with uncertainties. Utilizing the input-output feedback linearization technique and the Lyapunov method for non-linear state feedback synthesis, a robust globally exponential output tracking controller design methodology for a broad class of non-linear control systems with uncertainties is developed. The underlying theoretical approaches are the differential geometry approach and the composite Lyapunov approach. One utilizes the parametrized coordinate transformation to transform the original non-linear system with uncertainties into a singularly perturbed model with uncertainties and the composite Lyapunov approach is then applied for output tracking. This paper proposes a novel approach to robust backstepping for global stabilization of uncertain nonlinear systems via output feedback. The design procedure developed in this paper is based on the concept of state‐dependent scaling, which handles output‐feedback stabilization problems of strict‐feedback systems with various structures of uncertainties in a unified way. The proposed method is suitable for numerical computation. The theory of the method employs the Schur complements formula instead of Young's inequality and completing the squares. This paper shows a condition of allowable uncertainty size under which an uncertain system is globally stabilized by output feedback. A class of systems is shown to be always globally stabilizable for arbitrarily large nonlinear size of uncertainties. This paper considers the robust-optimal design problems of output feedback controllers for linear systems with both time-varying elemental (structured) and norm-bounded (unstructured) parameter uncertainties. Two new sufficient conditions are proposed in terms of linear-matrix-inequalities (LMIs) for ensuring that the linear output feedback systems with both time-varying elemental and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties are asymptotically stable, where the mixed quadratically-coupled parameter uncertainties are directly considered in the problem formulation. A numerical example is given to show that the presented sufficient conditions are less conservative than existing ones reported recently. Then, by integrating the hybrid Taguchi-genetic algorithm (HTGA) and the proposed LMI-based sufficient conditions, a new integrative approach is presented to find the output feedback controllers of the linear systems with both time-varying elemental and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties such that the control objective of minimizing a quadratic integral performance criterion subject to the stability robustness constraint is achieved. A design example of the robust-optimal output feedback controller for the AFTI/F-16 aircraft control system with the time-varying elemental parameter uncertainties is given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed new integrative approach. 相似文献

This paper studies a number of quantized feedback design problems for linear systems. We consider the case where quantizers are static (memoryless). The common aim of these design problems is to stabilize the given system or to achieve certain performance with the coarsest quantization density. Our main discovery is that the classical sector bound approach is nonconservative for studying these design problems. Consequently, we are able to convert many quantized feedback design problems to well-known robust control problems with sector bound uncertainties. In particular, we derive the coarsest quantization densities for stabilization for multiple-input-multiple-output systems in both state feedback and output feedback cases; and we also derive conditions for quantized feedback control for quadratic cost and H/sub /spl infin// performances. 相似文献

The paper is extending output feedback nonlinear control and backstepping approaches to a class of systems approximately diffeomorphic to output feedback systems that include unknown functions. The unknown functions are addressed via online function approximation, which results in two types of uncertainty. Parametric uncertainty due to online function approximation and non-parametric uncertainty. The non-parametric uncertainty results from the inability of any function approximator to perfectly model an unknown function and from terms unmodeled by the output feedback form. The non-parametric terms are assumed to be bounded by unknown constants. The backstepping procedure is applied to adapt with respect to both parametric uncertainties and the upper bound on the non-parametric uncertainties. 相似文献
