EDI的发展

本文对电子商务的核心技术EDI进行了介绍,并指出EDI的发展至今已经历了三个阶段——直接专用EDI、基于增值网的间接EDI和基于Internet的EDI,对EDI各个阶段的特征进行了研究和探讨,对EDI的发展趋势进行了展望。     

EDI在汽车工业的应用

EDI(电子数据交换 )作为成熟的电子商务技术和手段 ,在许多行业得到了应用 ,其中汽车行业是一个应用EDI较普遍的典型行业。本文以美国汽车工业EDI应用为例 ,介绍了AIAG的EDI应用模型 ,阐述了EDI在生产用品/原材料管理方面的应用过程和涉及的EDI单证 ,探讨了EDI对传统商务方式的变革和我国EDI发展的思路。

英国扩大EDI网的使用范围

据《British Telecommunications Engineering》,vol.11,part 4报道,英国电讯公司(BT)准备从两个方面来推广EDI(电子数据交换,俗称“无纸贸易”)网的使用范围.其一,作为促进便用式EDI业务的组成部分,启用了EDI网与消息交换网之间的互通信关.这种信关允许消息交换网的用户报文通过X.400电路经EDI网发送给EDI用户,反之亦然.这使得X.400用户(主要是大企业)选用最适合其需要和资费的条件与其贸易伙伴取得EDI好处.其二,已采用欧洲标准OFTR(ODDETTE文件转移协议)使英国的EDI网通过X.25电路贯通欧洲大陆的EDI网.最近,为简化EDI的使用手续和减低用户的负担费用,英国EDI同业务与美国AT＆T和IBM的EDI网业务相互通连,扩大了其在全世界的涉及范围.     

XML在电子商务中的应用

本文主要分析了XML技术应用于EDI的优势和劣势所在。首先,描述了传统EDI存在的局限性。接着,通过列举XML对Internet EDI的影响,分析了XML技术的优势。同时,也指出了XML-EDI系统的劣势及希望解决的问题。     

移动EDI体系结构与关键技术研究

移动EDI体系结构设计是设计与实现移动支付系统的首要基础,总结了目前建立移动EDI系统的关键技术,分析了基于移动EDI技术的电子商务系统应用集成问题,描述了移动EDI通用数据转换构件系统的功能架构与评价指标,论述了基于XML的EDI系统的架构方案,提出了基于Web Service的EDI-XML转换构件的实现算法,该算法可以使移动EDI具有良好的结构化交互功能.

首先介绍了互联网电子数据交换(EDIonInternet)技术提出和应用的背景,然后分别对3种EDIonInternet的具体技术MIMEEDI,webEDI和FTPEDI的有关技术标准及特点进行了简明扼要的分析,并对这3种技术的应用特点和安全机制进行了比较,最后展望了EDIonInternet技术的发展和应用前景.     

Adoption of electronic data interchange: the role of buyer-supplierrelationships

This paper examines electronic data interchange (EDI) adoption and integration by US automobile industry suppliers. The paper constructs several hypotheses from the authors' literature survey and interviews with automotive industry managers, and tests these hypotheses using data from first- and second-tier automobile suppliers in the U.S. Their study shows: (1) the higher the frequency of transactions and the higher the percent sales to a customer, the more likely a supplier was to adopt EDI; (2) "buyer's push" seemed to be the most significant reason for suppliers' EDI adoption; (3) factors affecting EDI adoption were different from those affecting EDI integration and success; (4) managerial proactiveness seemed to be the most significant factor for EDI integration and success; and (5) the resource-dependency approach seemed to be more suitable than the transaction-cost approach for explaining EDI adoption     

SOA面向服务架构在集装箱EDI平台中的应用

Effects of organizational characteristics on EDI implementation in Korea

Electronic data interchange (EDI) has been increasingly adopted in Korean industries to facilitate their online transactions with customers and suppliers. We investigate organizational factors affecting successful implementation of EDI in current Korean industries. Regression models are developed and tested using survey results from 110 Korean companies that have been using EDI. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

An Empirical Investigation of EDI Usage and Performance Improvement in Food Supply Chains

The use of electronic data interchange (EDI) and related coordination activities among supply chain members can improve supply chain performance. This study examines the relationship between a number of variables relating to EDI usage and supply chain coordination activities and performance improvements in efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. Our main research questions are: 1) how does a firm's approach to its EDI implementation and supply chain coordination affect the type and amount of performance improvement? and 2) what factors are critical to the successful implementation of EDI? Using data from a survey of the food industry's supply chain members, we build logistic regression models to identify the most important factors relating to a successful EDI implementation and performance improvement. We find that, while several different factors contribute to the various aspects of the performance improvement, developing EDI systems with a focus on a firm's customers is critical to the improvement of all performance measures.

Determinants and outcomes of electronic data interchange diffusion

Protagonists of electronic data interchange (EDI), a specific form of inter organizational systems (IOS), claim that it has the potential to dramatically alter the exchange of business documents and business operations (particularly material procurement and sales functions) in a number of industries. Drawing upon past research on innovation diffusion and information systems (IS) implementation, this study examines the role of key innovation and organizational factors in influencing the extent to which EDI is diffused within organizations, and whether more extensive diffusion leads to improved organizational outcomes. Two senior executives (one from the IS and the other from selling/buying function) from over 200 large American companies participated in the field study. The path analyses results indicate that compatibility and relative advantage (two of the three classical innovation attributes), championing, scope for use of EDI within the firm's task environments, and being an early adopter determine the extent to which EDI gets internally diffused through greater integration with other IS applications within the organization. Technical compatibility, top management support and being an early adopter emerge as the key variables influencing the extent to which EDI gets externally diffused through greater external diffusion of business transactions with trading partners. The results also indicate that greater internal as well as external diffusion of EDI facilitates improved organizational outcomes that was measured on six dimensions such as implementation success, organizational performance, influence on market structure, standardization of transactions, etc     

基于EDI的电子征税系统应用探讨

作为电子化贸易工具的EDI技术巳相当成熟，将其用于电子征税发挥了其安全可靠、数据从计算机到计算机自动传输不需人工介入操作等优点。本文对基于EDI的电子征税系统进行了探讨，提出了自己的一些看法。
