A new electronically reconfigurable dual frequency microstrip patch antenna with highly simplified varactor tuning circuitry is presented. The proposed design allows relatively independent selection of the two operating frequencies. Tuning ranges of 7.1 and 4.1% are realised for the two resonant frequencies without the use of any matching circuits.  相似文献

This paper presents a new design of a broad-band dual-polarized single microstrip patch antenna with highly decoupled input ports and low cross-polarization (XP) radiation. A prototype of the proposed antenna with center frequency at 1800 MHz is presented. Both the dual linear polarizations have 10-dB return-loss impedance bandwidths greater than 14% and high decoupling between the two input ports (S21 less than -40 dB across the entire bandwidths) is obtained. Moreover, the XP radiation in the principal planes of the dual linear polarizations is seen to be less than -20 dB  相似文献

A probe fed stacked microstrip patch antenna for operation in dual polarisation mode is proposed. A slot loaded lower patch is presented to improve isolation between the two polarisation ports. Simulations and measurements show two linear polarisations with an isolation of more than 30 dB within the band 2.5-2.7 GHz. A return loss of -10 dB is achieved within the above-mentioned bandwidth for the proposed antenna. The radiation pattern for the antenna is similar to that of a conventional microstrip antenna and the measured cross-polar level is 16.5 dB below the peak co-polar level within the band 2.5-2.7 GHz  相似文献

摘要:运用口径耦合理论、腔模理论、反相馈电技术和多层贴片结构设计出一种新型的P波段(中心频率为0.75GHz)宽带双极化微带贴片天线。天线的两个极化端口采用共面馈电;馈电网络设计中采用短路耦合线实现反相馈电。仿真结果表明该天线两个极化端口实际增益均达到8.5dB,水平极化端口在0.64-0.85GHz频率范围内驻波比小于2,相对带宽为28%;垂直极化端口在0.68-0.85GHz频率范围内驻波比小于2,相对带宽为22.6%,两端口隔离度高于53dB。  相似文献

设计并仿真了一种基于H 形缝隙耦合馈电,工作在u K 波段的微带双极化天线,并进行了4 单元平面组阵。4 单元阵实现的指标:驻波小于2 的相对带宽达到8.2%,双极化端口隔离度达-32dB,交叉极化达-23.5dB,方向图前后比 达-28dB,增益达到15dB,3dB 增益带宽达23.2%,并且两种极化下天线方向图有较好的一致性。天线采用多层结构,减 小了天线尺寸,并且两组馈电在不同夹层的设计使得进一步组阵变得便利,适应了双极化合成孔径雷达及抗多径干扰高 的移动通信系统的需要。  相似文献

A two port frequency reconfigurable antenna for cognitive radios is presented. It is composed of a disc monopole with two ports that excite at opposite sides; one port is very wideband and consists of a coplanar feed line and the other port is tunable narrowband and consists of a microstrip feed line with defect slots in its ground plane. The slots act as a filter that suppresses frequencies outside the desired band, its operating frequency band can be tuned by varying the length of the slots. The two ports are decoupled by at least 10 dB through the considered frequency range. It is believed that the proposed antenna can be a good candidate for cognitive radios in generic small base stations where the narrowband port is used for operation and the wideband one is used for sensing the spectrum. For accuracy, it is important that the sensing (measurement of the interference noise) is made with the same polarisation as the operation and the proposed antenna achieves this by having the two collinear ports. To examine the presented approach, simulated and measured results are presented and good agreement is reported.  相似文献

A novel circular polarization (CP) design of a single-feed equilateral-triangular microstrip antenna with enhanced antenna gain is presented. This CP design is obtained by placing three triangular slots at properly locations below the equilateral-triangular radiating patch in the ground plane. By adjusting one of the triangular slot's side lengths slightly longer than that of the others, two orthogonal near-degenerate resonant modes for CP radiation can be excited. Measured antenna gain in this study can easily be increased by 3.3 dBi (5.1 dBi versus 1.8 dBi), as compared to the same height, substrate material, operating frequency and radiating patch shape of a regular equilateral-triangular microstrip antenna without triangular slots in the ground plane. Prototype antenna is fabricated for experimental evaluation. Simulated and measured results are presented.  相似文献

研究了栅格微带天线在微带天线RCS减缩中的应用。分析了栅格线宽度、栅格线间距、栅格化方式等参数对天线的谐振频率、增益的影响。设计了一副具有低RCS特性的栅格微带天线,与谐振在同频率的微带贴片天线相比,天线的增益仅降低0. 6dBi,而天线在2~10GHz频带内的平均RCS降低4dBsm。  相似文献

本文提出利用双端口的串行角馈方形帖片实现双极化,并设计了一种共面的双极化馈线网络,综合运用多端口网络模型、腔模理论和分片法,给出了单口双端口天线单元和双极化天线阵列的理论分析。本文法计算简单便,适合于工程应用,实际设计了一副6GHz频段的背地里层天线阵,实验测量的双端口隔离度达-41dB,其性能明显优于通常的单层双极化微带天线阵,该面阵结构简单、馈线网络较小,且易合并成更大规模的双极化瑚线阵。  相似文献

A microstrip antenna with the functions of switchable pattern and polarisation is presented. The antenna is composed of a square-ring radiating patch and four shorting walls. The shorting walls are connected to each edge of the square-ring patch through one pin diode. By controlling the states of the pin diodes, the square-ring microstrip antenna can radiate two complementary patterns (conical and broadside); moreover, dual orthogonal linear polarisations are provided for the broadside radiation. A novel dual-frequency patch antenna fed by a coplanar microstrip line is presented. By embedding a shorting pin in the microstrip feed line, the proposed antenna is capable of operating at two distinct modes with different radiation characteristics: omnidirectional shorting-pin-loaded patch mode and broadside regular patch mode. In addition, the frequency ratio of the two resonant frequencies is also tunable in the range 3.7-2.7 by loading an additional slot in the microstrip patch.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental investigations carried out on shorted microstrip patch antenna for dual band operation. The investigations were carried out by varying the shorting-pin position from the edge to the centre of the patch; such an antenna provides a frequency tunability range from 0.88?GHz to 1.08?GHz for first resonance and from 2.20?GHz to 2.59?GHz for second resonance. A frequency ratio of about 2.91 to 2.2 for the two operating frequencies is observed. When the shorting-pin position is close to centre or at the centre of the patch, a single resonant frequency is observed. It is also observed that the resonant frequency of the antenna heavily depends upon the thickness of the substrate, dielectric constant of the substrate and radius of the shorting-pin.  相似文献

This paper describes the development and performance of a wideband dual linear polarization microstrip antenna array used in the Danish high-resolution airborne multifrequency polarimetric synthetic aperture radar, EMISAR. The antenna was designed for an operating frequency of 1.25 GHz±50 MHz and was built as an array of 8×2 probe-fed stacked microstrip patches. The feeding network is constructed in microstrip and is capable of handling 6 kW of peak input-power at an altitude of 45000 ft (unpressurized). The impedance bandwidth (return loss better than -14 dB) of the antenna is 10%, the isolation between the horizontal and the vertical ports of the array is 50 dB and the cross-polarization suppression is 40 dB. A new design principle for simultaneously achieving very low cross-polarization and low side lobes in dual linear polarization antenna arrays has been applied  相似文献

In this paper, a novel and small substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) based self-diplexing antenna is presented. The proposed antenna exploits two quarter-mode SIW cavity resonators for radiation, which are realized by splitting a half-mode SIW cavity with the help of one open-ended slot. Each quarter-mode cavity resonator is excited separately by microstrip feedlines. By properly adjusting the corresponding dimensions of the antenna, a very high isolation of better than −30 dB is obtained between the input ports that helps to realize a self-diplexing phenomenon. The antenna exhibits two resonant frequencies of 6.44 and 7.09 GHz, with the corresponding gain values of 3.2 and 4.8 dBi, respectively. Moreover, the antenna shows unidirectional and stable radiation patterns at both operating frequencies, while it maintains a planar and simple configuration, which can be rescaled for any other desired frequency.  相似文献

采用十字缝隙耦合、多层积叠贴片和双层馈电等技术,并选择双偏置微带线作为馈电,设计了一种小型化双极化宽频带微带缝隙天线。这些技术的采用拓宽了天线带宽,实现了良好的阻抗匹配。双层馈电技术减小了天线尺寸,并使天线的两个端口具有良好的隔离度。通过样品测量,驻波比小于1.5的端口相对带宽分别达40%和38.5%,工作频带内两端口隔离度(s21)大于25dB,增益最大值达9.1dB。该天线具有良好的性能并且工作于1710~2170MHz频段,可制作成天线阵应用于移动通信中。  相似文献

A circularly-polarised microstrip antenna capable of switching polarisation sense is presented. The proposed microstrip antenna has a circular radiating patch and is excited by an open-loop microstrip line through the coupling of a ring slot in the ground plane. Two ends of the open-loop microstrip line can be taken for the input ports to excite right-hand and left-hand circular polarisations, respectively. A prototype using PIN diodes to electrically switch the input ports is implemented, and the measured results show the 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth of more than 10% can be obtained at the two polarisation senses  相似文献

A compact design of the single-layer slotted microstrip patch antenna is presented, which has two highly decoupled orthogonal input ports and is capable of generating dual-polarised radiation. The proposed antenna displays a desired characteristic for reducing polarisation loss between the transmitting and receiving antenna units at arbitrary angles. The measured results show that the proposed antenna with resonance frequency at 5.93 GHz has a bandwidth of about 300 MHz, an average gain of greater than 8 dBi, and an input isolation of exceeding 20 dB for the entire impedance bandwidths of the two polarisations.  相似文献
