This paper investigates the path‐tracking control problem for an autonomous surface vessel (ASV) with unknown time‐varying disturbances and input saturation. A robust nonlinear control law is proposed based on a disturbance observer and an auxiliary system in the context of command filtered control. The disturbance observer is constructed to estimate the unknown time‐varying disturbances, the auxiliary dynamic system is employed to handle input saturation, and the compensator based command filtered control technique makes the designed path‐tracking control law simple and easy to implement in practice. It is proved that the nonlinear control law can track the desired vessel's position and heading, while guaranteeing the uniform ultimate boundedness of all signals in the path‐tracking control system. Simulation results further demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.  相似文献

This paper addresses a robust control approach for a class of input–output linearizable nonlinear systems with uncertainties and modeling errors considered as unknown inputs. As known, the exact feedback linearization method can be applied to control input–output linearizable nonlinear systems, if all the states are available and modeling errors are negligible. The mentioned two prerequisites denote important problems in the field of classical nonlinear control. The solution approach developed in this contribution is using disturbance rejection by applying feedback of the uncertainties and modeling errors estimated by a specific high‐gain disturbance observer as unknown inputs. At the same time, the nonmeasured states can be calculated from the estimation of the transformed system states. The feasibility and conditions for the application of the approach on mechanical systems are discussed. A nonlinear multi‐input multi‐output mechanical system is taken as a simulation example to illustrate the application. The results show the robustness of the control design and plausible estimations of full‐rank disturbances.Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper the disturbance attenuation and rejection problem is investigated for a class of MIMO nonlinear systems in the disturbance‐observer‐based control (DOBC) framework. The unknown external disturbances are supposed to be generated by an exogenous system, where some classic assumptions on disturbances can be removed. Two kinds of nonlinear dynamics in the plants are considered, respectively, which correspond to the known and unknown functions. Design schemes are presented for both the full‐order and reduced‐order disturbance observers via LMI‐based algorithms. For the plants with known nonlinearity, it is shown that the full‐order observer can be constructed by augmenting the estimation of disturbances into the full‐state estimation, and the reduced‐order ones can be designed by using of the separation principle. For the uncertain nonlinearity, the problem can be reduced to a robust observer design problem. By integrating the disturbance observers with conventional control laws, the disturbances can be rejected and the desired dynamic performances can be guaranteed. If the disturbance also has perturbations, it is shown that the proposed approaches are infeasible and further research is required in the future. Finally, simulations for a flight control system is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the disturbance observer–based chattering‐free discrete‐time sliding mode control (DSMC) approach is proposed for systems with external disturbances. The proposed disturbance observer, which makes full use of the state and input information at the current and last steps, improves the estimation accuracy and achieves accurate compensation for disturbances. Then, with the help of disturbance observer, a new reaching law, which contains not only a nonsmooth term with a dynamically adjusted gain parameter but also a second order difference of the disturbance, is proposed to reduce the range of the quasi‐sliding mode band and eliminate chattering. The proposed DSMC approach realizes the active disturbance rejection and strong robustness. Finally, a simulation example is presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, antidisturbance control and estimation problem are discussed for a class of discrete‐time stochastic systems with nonlinearity and multiple disturbances, which include the disturbance with partially known information and a sequence of random vectors. A disturbance observer is constructed to estimate the disturbance with partially known information. A composite hierarchical antidisturbance control scheme is proposed by combining disturbance observer and H control. It is proved that the 2 different disturbances can be rejected and attenuated, and the corresponding desired performances can be guaranteed for discrete‐time stochastic systems with known and unknown nonlinear dynamics, respectively. Simulation examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a disturbance observer–based prescribed adaptive control approach is proposed for ultra‐high‐precision tracking of a class of hysteretic systems with both high‐order matched and mismatched disturbances. Considering the adverse effects of asymmetric and rate‐dependent hysteresis nonlinearities, a polynomial‐based rate‐dependent Prandtl‐Ishlinskii model is first developed to characterize their behaviors, and inverse model based compensation is also constructed. Furthermore, the resulting inverse compensation error is analytically given, and a novel disturbance observer with adaptive control techniques is designed to handle the bounded disturbances, including the inverse compensation error and the high‐order matched and mismatched disturbances. Comparative experiments on a multiaxis nano servo stage are finally conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control architecture, where substantial performance improvement over existing results are achieved on various tracking scenarios.  相似文献

Anti‐disturbance control and estimation problem are investigated for nonlinear system subject to multi‐source disturbances. The disturbances classified model is proposed based on the error and noise analysis of priori knowledge. The disturbance observers are constructed separately from the controller design to estimate the disturbance with partial known information. By integrating disturbance‐observer‐based control with discrete‐time sliding‐mode control (DSMC), a novel type of composite stratified anti‐disturbance control scheme is presented for a class of multiple‐input–multiple‐output discrete‐time systems with known and unknown nonlinear dynamics, respectively. Simulations for a flight control system are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results compared with the previous schemes. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Antidisturbance control problem is discussed for stochastic systems with multiple heterogeneous disturbances, which include the white noise and the disturbance with unknown frequencies and amplitudes. An adaptive disturbance observer is designed to estimate the disturbance with unknown frequencies and amplitudes, based on which, an adaptive disturbance observer‐based control scheme is proposed by combining adaptive technique and linear matrix inequality method. It is proved that the closed‐loop system is asymptotically bounded in mean square when multiple heterogeneous disturbances exist simultaneously and that the equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable in probability as additive disturbance disappears. Finally, two simulation examples, including a wind turbine system, are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

An event‐triggered observer‐based output feedback control issue together with triggered input is investigated for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems subject to unknown external disturbances. Two separate event‐triggered conditions are located on the measurement channel and control channel, respectively. An event‐triggered extended state observer (ETESO) is employed to estimate unmeasurable states and compensate uncertainties and disturbances in real time while it is not required for real‐time output measurement. Then, combined with backstepping method and active disturbance rejection control, an output feedback control scheme is proposed, where an event‐triggered input is developed for reducing the communication rate between the controller and the actuator. The triggered instants are determined by a time‐varying event‐triggered condition. Two simulations, including a numerical example and an permanent‐magnet motor, are illustrated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.  相似文献

This paper mainly focuses on designing an active vibration control for a flexible‐link manipulator in the presence of input constraint and unknown spatially infinite dimensional disturbances. The manipulator we studied can be taken as an Euler–Bernoulli beam, the dynamic model of which has the form of partial differential equations. As the existence of spatially infinite dimensional disturbances on the beam, we first design a disturbance observer to estimate infinite dimensional disturbances. The proposed disturbance observer is guaranteed exponentially stable. Then, taking input saturation into account, a novel disturbance‐observer‐based controller is developed to regulate the joint angular position and rapidly suppress vibrations on the beam, which is the main contribution of this study. The closed‐loop system is validated asymptotically stable by theoretical analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by numerical simulations.  相似文献

A novel type of control scheme combined the distance‐observer‐based control (DOBC) with H control is proposed for a class of nonlinear time‐delay systems subject to disturbances. The disturbances are supposed to include two parts. One in the input channel is generated by an exogenous system with uncertainty, which can represent the harmonic signals with modeling perturbations. The other is supposed to have the bounded H2 norm. The disturbance observers based on regional pole placement and D‐stability theory are presented, which can be designed separately from the controller design. By integrating disturbance‐observer‐based control with H control laws, the disturbances can be rejected and attenuated, simultaneously, the desired dynamic performances can be guaranteed for nonlinear time‐delay systems with unknown nonlinear dynamics.

This article describes the design of a linearizing, observer‐based, robust dynamic feedback control scheme for output reference trajectory tracking tasks in a leader‐follower non‐holonomic car formation problem. The approach is based on the cars' kinematic models. A radical simplification in the form of a global ultra‐model is proposed on the follower's exact open loop position tracking error dynamics obtained via flatness considerations. This results in a system described by an additively disturbed set of two, second order integrators with non‐linear velocity dependent control input gain matrix. The unknown additive disturbances are modeled as absolutely uniformly bounded time signals which may be locally approximated by arbitrary elements of a sufficiently high degree family of Taylor polynomials. Linear high‐gain Luenberger observers of the generalized proportional integral (GPI) type may be readily designed. These observers include the self updating internal model of the unknown disturbance input vector components in the form of generic, instantaneous, time‐polynomial models. The proposed (GPI) observers, which are the dual counterpart of GPI controllers [17], achieve a simultaneous disturbance estimation and tracking error phase variables estimation. This on‐line gathered information is used to advantage on the follower's feedback controller thus allowing for a simple, yet efficient, disturbance and control input gain cancelation effort. The results are applied to have the follower track a time‐delayed version of the actual leader's trajectory. Experimental results are presented which illustrate the robustness and viability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the observer‐based output tracking problem for a class of linear switched stochastic systems with time delay and disturbance by using repetitive control approach. More precisely, a two‐dimensional hybrid model is incorporated to obtain and optimize the repetitive controller. In particular, the repetitive controller is used to improve the tracking performance through its continuous learning actions. In addition, an equivalent‐input‐disturbance estimator is incorporated into the repetitive control design approach to reduce the effect of the external disturbances. The main aim of the control design is to track the periodic reference signal with the measured output of the system under consideration even in the presence of an unknown bounded disturbance. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and using average dwell time approach and Jensen inequality, sufficient conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities to guarantee the mean‐square exponential stability of the considered system. Eventually, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed method.  相似文献

An adaptive dynamic surface control (DSC) approach using fuzzy approximation and nonlinear disturbance observer (NDO) for uncertain nonlinear systems in the presence of input saturation, output constraint and unknown external disturbances is proposed in this paper. The issue of input saturation is addressed by introducing a lower bound assumption on the approximation function of saturation. The output constraint is handled by introducing an appropriate barried Lyapunov function. The nonlinear disturbance observer (NDO) is employed to estimate the unknown unmatched disturbances. It is manifested that the ultimately bounded convergence of all the variables in the closed-loop system is guaranteed and the tracking error can be made farely small by tuning the design parameters. Finally, two simulation examples illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This article investigates the finite‐time output tracking problem for a class of nonlinear systems with multiple mismatched disturbances. To efficiently estimate the disturbances and their derivatives, a continuous finite‐time disturbance observer (CFTDO) design method is developed. Based on the modified adding a power integrator method and CFTDO technique, a composite tracking controller is constructed such that the system output can track the desired reference signal in finite time. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control approach.  相似文献

In this study, we focus on the boundary control problem for a vibrating string system with saturated input under the condition of external disturbances. Based on the backstepping approach, a boundary vibration control scheme is proposed to globally stabilize the string around the equilibrium position. A smooth hyperbolic tangent function is exploited to restrict the control input, an auxiliary system and a Nussbaum function are adopted to cope with the nonlinear term derived from the input saturation, and a disturbance observer is employed to tackle the boundary disturbance. The developed controller can assure the convergence of the closed‐loop system state to a small neighbourhood of zero. By the appropriate choice of control design parameters, numerical simulation is conducted to show the effectiveness of the derived control.  相似文献

When there are external disturbances acting on the system, the conventional Luenberger observer design for state estimation usually results in a biased state estimate. This paper presents a robust state and disturbance observer design that gives both accurate state and disturbance estimates in the face of large disturbances. The proposed robust observer is structurally different from the conventional one in the sense that a disturbance estimation term is included in the observer equation. With this disturbance estimation term, the robust observer design problem is skillfully transformed into a disturbance rejection control problem. We then can utilize the standard H control design tools to optimize the robust observer between the disturbance rejection ability and noise immune ability. An important advantage of the proposed robust observer is that it applies to both minimum‐phase systems and non‐minimum phase systems.  相似文献
