This paper presents refined finite element models based on higher-order displacement fields to study the mechanical and electrical behavior of laminated composite plate structures with embedded and/or surface bonded piezoelectric actuators and sensors. Sensitivity analysis and optimization techniques are also applied in order to maximize the piezoelectric actuator efficiency, improve the structural performance and/or minimize the weight of the structure. The application of structural optimization to the static shape control of adaptive structures is also addressed. To show the performance of the proposed models, several illustrative and simple examples are presented.  相似文献

针对机械设备被动隔振在低频段隔振效果较差的问题,建立磁致伸缩作动器的电-磁-机转化数学模型,提出一种基于自适应模糊滑模控制算法,并用李雅普诺夫方法证明控制器的稳定性,将该控制策略与磁致伸缩作动器应用于混合隔振系统中。仿真结果表明:在单频、多频及随即激励条件下,自适应模糊滑模控制器具有良好的动态特性和鲁棒性,能够提高系统隔振效率并拓宽隔振频段,有效减小传至基础的力。  相似文献

A thermomechanical buckling analysis is presented for simply supported rectangular symmetric cross-ply laminated composite plates that are integrated with surface-mounted piezoelectric actuators and are subjected to the combined action of in-plane compressive edge loads, two types of thermal loads, and constant applied actuator voltage. The formulation of equations is based on the classical laminated plate theory and the von-Karman non-linear kinematic relations. The analysis uses an exact method to obtain closed-form solutions for the buckling load. The effects of applied actuator voltage, thermal and mechanical loads, plate geometry, and lay-up configuration of the laminated plates are investigated. The novelty of the present work is to obtain closed-form solutions for electro-thermomechanical buckling of hybrid composite plates, and to cover non-uniform temperature distribution loading. The results for various states are verified with known data in the literature.  相似文献

This paper presents analytical solutions to the transverse deformation shape of a circular axisymmetric piezoelectric-metal composite unimorph actuator. The solutions account for both the influence of an applied electric field and a concentrated or uniformly distributed mechanical load. Using piezoelectric constitutive equations, combined with thin plate and small bending elastic theory, the generalized equation of motion for bending of thin piezoelectric-metal composite plates has been derived. Our approach predicts that there is an optimum thickness ratio between the piezoelectric and metal plates, which leads to a maximum combination of deflection and load carrying capabilities. Derived formulas are very simple that offer a quick method for engineering design and optimization of a circular unimorph piezoelectric actuator.  相似文献

Restoration forces, associated with embedded activated pre-strained SMA wires, have successfully been employed to enhance the post-buckling behaviour of laminated plate structures while under the influence of a uniaxial load. The results of which will be presented. The manufacturing methodology of the hybrid SMA-carbon-epoxy plates is outlined. Optical micrographs illustrate the effect of embedding diametrical inclusions within a host composite. Thermal and structural finite-element analysis have been employed to predict the non-uniform temperature profile within the laminates and to provide insight to the SMA-hybrid structure adaptive response. It is shown that by utilizing the considerable control authority generated, even for a small actuator volume fraction, the out-of-plane displacement of the post-buckled laminates can be significantly reduced. Such displacement alleviation allows for the load redistribution away from the plate's unloaded edges i.e. there is a tendency for the plate to conform to the optimal flat configuration beyond its critical buckling load. However, the stability of the adaptive response is very much dependent upon the laminate stacking sequence. It is envisaged that the range of operational performance for such an adaptive hybrid structure may be extended over conventional materials and structures.  相似文献

The effect of frequency and bidirectional static prestrain on the results of dynamic mechanical measurements of loss tangent for acrylic elastomer films is investigated. These prestrained elastomer films are used in electroactive polymer actuators, sometimes referred to as artificial muscles, where the loss tangent determines the mechanical efficiency of the actuator. It is found that mechanical efficiency of the actuator increases with increased bidirectional prestrain, and decreases with increased frequency.  相似文献

研究了压电结构中压电片厚度和嵌入深度的优化问题。首先给出了压电层合板的高阶耦合分析模型;然后以不受约束的含压电铺层复合材料板为代表,在压电层厚度方向施加电场时板自由变形,假设板任意微元横截面上内力为零,以其弯(扭)曲曲率最大为优化目标,建立了求解压电片最优厚度和嵌入深度问题的约束优化模型。最后分别以各向同性板中嵌入各项同性压电片和复合材料板中嵌入各向异性压电片为例进行了分析,绘出了目标函数的三维曲面图及等高线图,结果表明压电片的作动效能与其厚度和嵌入位置密切相关,而最优厚度和嵌入位置是由压电片和基体的材料特性决定的。  相似文献

This study presents the buckling analysis of a solid circular plate made of porous material bounded with piezoelectric sensor–actuator patches. The porous material properties vary through the thickness direction of the plate following a given function. The general mechanical nonlinear equilibrium and linear stability equations are derived using the variational formulations to obtain the governing equations of the piezoelectric porous plate. The buckling load is derived for solid circular plates under uniform radial compressive loading for the clamped edge condition. The effects of piezoelectric layers on the buckling load of the plate, piezoelectric layer-to-porous plate thickness ratio, feedback gain, and variation of porosity are investigated. The results are verified with the known results in the literature.  相似文献

A system consisting of a circular multilayered thin-film elastic plate and a piezoelectric actuator, which is generally used for ultrasound generation in air, is studied in this paper. Effects of the electrode dimension of a circular thinfilm piezoelectric actuator lying on a clamped multilayered elastic plate are discussed theoretically, while the first-order theory of asymmetrically laminated piezoelectric plates with consideration of coupled extension and flexure of the reference plane is used. Numerical results show that the deflection of the elastic plate can be optimized by adjusting the radius of the top electrode.  相似文献

A new type of piezoelectric plate actuator for ultrasonic linear motors has been developed. These new piezoelectric actuators use the principle of asymmetric resonant excitation of the piezoceramic plate in a special resonant mode consisting of a standing two-dimensional extensional wave in a piezoceramic plate. The behavior of the actuator has been simulated with finite-element method (FEM) software and the simulation results checked with single-point contact measurements on the surface of the actuator. This paper describes this work and closes by describing the new ultrasonic translation stages based on this design.  相似文献

针对带有未知控制方向、未知非线性函数以及执行器故障的不确定非线性系统,研究了相应的模糊自适应事件触发容错控制问题。首先,运用反步法和模糊逻辑系统 (FLS) 理论知识相结合,构造出自适应事件触发容错控制器和自适应更新律,有效地补偿了执行器故障对系统的影响。其次,在自适应事件触发容错控制器的设计中引入了 Nussbaum 函数。最后,所设计的控制方案保证了闭环信号在给定紧集内一致最终有界,且仿真结果验证了本文所提出的控制方案的有效性。  相似文献

Adaptronics is a new and highly innovative technology in mechanical engineering. The main objectives are active noise and vibration control, active form and positioning control, and health monitoring. This concept starts from the development of adaptive systems which, due to their self‐regulating mechanisms, are able to self‐adapt to different external conditions. This requires a system‐optimized linking of sensors and actuators on the basis of new functional materials, such as piezoceramic fibers and patches with adaptive controllers. Adaptronic structures fulfill both load‐bearing and actuator/sensor functions and, hence, are multifunctional. Therefore, adaptronics will become an essential prerequisite for further development of ultralight structures.  相似文献

This paper presents a new type of linear ultrasonic actuator that can drive a slide by ultrasound. The ultrasonic actuator consists of a metal plate with uniform triangular grooves, multilayer piezoelectric vibrator, and supporting structure. The multilayer piezoelectric vibrator is used to excite a flexural vibration in the metal plate that is adjusted to lie horizontally. When the metal plate vibrates, a glass slide on it is levitated in the vertical direction and linearly driven along the length direction. Experimental characteristics of the prototype are presented here. This is the first report case of using the sound field that is generated by a grooved metal plate, to drive a slide levitated by acoustic radiation force.  相似文献

The integration of mechanical systems and microelectronics opens new possibilities for mechanical design and automatic functions. After a discussion of the mechanical and electronic design the organization of information processing in different levels is described. Within this frame low-degree intelligent mechatronic systems can be developed which comprise adaptive control, supervision with fault diagnosis and decisions with regard to the further actions as, for example, fail safe or reconfiguration. This requires the realization of knowledge based systems in the form of on-line expert systems with learning abilities. Some aspects of the design including modeling and estimation, control and supervision methods are considered. Finally as an example an intelligent magnetic actuator is shown which uses parameter estimation for adaptive control and fault detection.  相似文献

空间机器人关节执行器输出力矩幅值及幅值变化率受限的情况,是其在太空应用中不可避免要面临的实际问题。为此该文讨论了关节执行器输出力矩幅值及幅值率受限情况下参数未知空间机器人系统协调运动的动力学控制问题。依据系统动量守恒关系和拉格朗日第二类方程,推导了漂浮基空间机器人系统的动力学方程。以此为基础,针对关节执行器输出力矩幅值及幅值率受限的情况,设计了一种自适应模糊神经网络控制器,以使空间机器人系统的本体姿态和机械臂关节铰协调地跟踪各自在关节空间的期望运动轨迹。该控制方案由自适应模糊神经网络控制器及抗饱和参数自适应律构成。首先利用有限差分法将幅值率受限条件转化为幅值受限条件,并与该文预设的力矩受限条件比较以确定每个采样时刻的力矩动态受限范围;然后再通过设计一个抗饱和参数自适应律来确保执行器的输出力矩在动态受限范围内。基于Lyapunov稳定性理论证明了该控制器可确保控制系统是渐近稳定的。仿真对比实验证明了该控制方案的有效性。  相似文献

A thermal buckling analysis is presented for functionally graded rectangular plates that are integrated with surface-bonded piezoelectric actuators and are subjected to the combined action of thermal load and constant applied actuator voltage. The temperature-dependent material properties of the functionally graded plate are assumed to vary as a power form of the thickness coordinate. Derivation of the equations is based on the third-order shear deformation plate theory. Results for the critical buckling temperatures are obtained in closed-form solution, which are convenient to be used in engineering design applications. The effects of the applied actuator voltage, plate geometry, and volume fraction exponent of the functionally graded material on the buckling temperature are investigated.  相似文献

Bidirectional flexure analysis of functionally graded (FG) plate integrated with piezoelectric fiber reinforced composites (PFRC) is presented in this paper. A higher order shear and normal deformation theory (HOSNT12) is used to analyze such hybrid or smart FG plate subjected to electromechanical loading. The displacement function of the present model is approximated as Taylor’s series in the thickness coordinate, while the electro-static potential is approximated as layer wise linear through the thickness of the PFRC layer. The equations of equilibrium are obtained using principle of minimum potential energy and solution is by Navier’s technique. Elastic constants are varying exponentially along thickness (z axis) for FG material while Poisson’s ratio is kept constant. PFRC actuator attached either at top or bottom of FG plate and analyzed under mechanical and coupled mechanical and electrical loading. Comparison of present HOSNT12 is made with exact and finite element method (FEM).  相似文献

压电陶瓷驱动器的迟滞非线性特性严重影响了其跟踪定位精度,甚至引起闭环系统失稳.本文采用经典PI模型描述压电驱动器的迟滞非线性,利用自适应投影算法对PI模型的权向量进行在线辨识,并与传统的最小二乘辨识方法进行比较.迟滞PI模型的优点是模型存在解析逆,因此本文对压电驱动器采用自适应逆跟踪控制,利用驱动器的输出位移与参考位移之差使用自适应投影算法在线辨识PI模型的权向量,并计算PI逆模型的权向量和阈值,最终得到要输入的电压值.最后实验结果表明自适应逆跟踪控制比传统的逆模型跟踪控制精度提高了49.8%.  相似文献

Nonlinear vibration analysis of thin circular pre-stressed functionally graded (FG) plate integrated with two uniformly distributed piezoelectric actuator layers with an initial nonlinear large deformation are presented in this paper. Nonlinear governing equations of motion are derived based on classical plate theory (CPT) with von-Karman type geometrical large nonlinear deformations. A nonlinear static problem is solved first to determine the initial stress state and pre-vibration deformations of the plate that is subjected to in-plane forces and applied actuator voltage. By adding an incremental dynamic state to the pre-vibration state, the differential equations that govern the nonlinear vibration behavior of pre-stressed piezoelectrically actuated circular FG plate are derived. An exact series expansion method is used to model the nonlinear electro-mechanical vibration behavior of the structure. Control of the FG plate’s nonlinear deflections and natural frequencies using high control voltages are studied and their nonlinear effects are evaluated. In a parametric study the emphasis is placed on investigating the effect of varying the applied actuator voltage as well as gradient index of FG plate on the dynamic characteristics of the structure.  相似文献
