We developed the EPMA mapping method of small -AlFeSi(Al8.3Fe2Si) and -AlFeSi(Al8.9Fe2Si2) particles in the billets of Al-Mg-Si alloys such as AA6063 alloys. To discriminate between -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles we used the relative X-ray intensities of Fe/Si ratio, the I Fe/I Si ratio, instead of the Fe/Si mass ratio. To obtain the I Fe/I Si ratio, we used a Monte Carlo method. In this study, using this method the mapping of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles in the surface layer of AA6063 billets after the heat treatment (for 2 h at 580°C) was done. Namely, the distribution of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles of zones from the billet surface to a depth of 800 m was measured. Results showed the zone from the surface to a depth of 200 m was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles and the zone from a depth of 200 m toward the center was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles. From these results, it was found that if we remove zones from the surface to a depth of 200 m, we can remove the majority of the -AlFeSi particles, and thus improve the quality of anodizing performance of Al-Mg-Si alloys extrusions.  相似文献

Summary The hypersonic small-disturbance theory is reexamined in this study. A systematic and rigorous approach is proposed to obtain the nonlinear asymptotic equation from the Taylor-Maccoll equation for hypersonic flow past a circular cone. Using this approach, consideration is made of a general asymptotic expansion of the unified supersonic-hypersonic similarity parameter together with the stretched coordinate. Moreover, the successive approximate solutions of the nonlinear hypersonic smalldisturbance equation are solved by iteration. Both of these approximations provide a closed-form solution, which is suitable for the analysis of various related flow problems. Besides the velocity components, the shock location and other thermodynamic properties are presented. Comparisons are also made of the zeroth-order with first-order approximations for shock location and pressure coefficient on the cone surface, respectively. The latter (including the nonlinear effects) demonstrates better correlation with exact solution than the zeroth-order approximation. Recently developed coaxial line techniques [1] have been used to determine, at room temperature, the values of the real () and imaginary (') parts of the dielectric constants for some Mg-Al-Si, Ca-Al-Si and Y-Al-Si oxynitride glasses over the frequency range 500 MHz to 5 GHz. The frequency dependencies of and ' are consistent with the universal law of dielectric response in that (-t8)(n–1) and '(n–1) for all glass compositions; the high experimental value of the exponent (n=1.0±0.1) suggests the limiting form of lattice loss [2] situation. In this frequency range, as previously reported [3] at longer wavelengths, the addition of nitrogen increases the dielectric constant, (); in both the oxide and oxynitride glasses is also influenced by the cation, being increased with cation type in the order magnesium, yttrium, calcium as at lower frequencies.  相似文献

Various experimental studies on a new fast Ag+ ion-conducting composite electrolyte system: (1–x) (0.75Agl0.25AgCl)xAl2O3 are reported. Undried Al2O3 particles of size <10 m were used. The conventional matrix material Agl has been replaced by a new mixed 0.75Agl0.25AgCl quenched and/or annealed host compound. Conductivity enhancements 10 from the annealed host and 3 times from the quenched host obtained for the composition 0.7(0.75Agl0.25AgCl)0.3Al2O3, can be explained on the basis of the space charge interface mechanism. Direct measurements of ionic mobility as function of temperature together with the conductivity were carried out for the best composition. Subsequently, the mobile ion concentration n values were calculated from and a data. The value of heat of ion transport q* obtained from the plot of thermoelectric power versus 1/T supports Rice and Roth's free ion theory for superionic conductors. Using the best composition as an electrolyte various solid state batteries were fabricated and studied at room temperature with different cathode preparations and load conditions.  相似文献

The ageing reactions that take place during the heat-treatment of solution-treated III titanium (11.5 wt% Mo, 6 wt% Zr, 4.5 wt% Sn, balance Ti) were followed by detailed structure characterization using electron microscopy. The variations in mechanical properties with heat treatment were also followed systematically. The electron microscopy investigations indicated that the omega phase formed on quenching. The size and volume fraction of the omega phase increased on subsequent ageing,, and phases were found to co-exist at ageing temperatures between 800 and 900° F (427 and 482° C) for short ageing times. From the observations of interfacial dislocations at the/ interface and the precipitation of fine alpha near the omega particles, with a morphology that is characteristic of the prior morphology, it is suggested that the-phase forms directly from the omega phase. The observed increase in yield strength over the solution-treated condition, due to the precipitation of phase, was found to agree well with that predicted by the Orowan hardening mechanism. Since the precipitation of fine ellipsoidal-phase was found to increase the yield strength of the alloy with reasonable ductility, it is suggested that the optimum heat treatment to produce high strength with good ductility in III titanium is to age at 900° F (482° C) for 10 to 25 h.  相似文献

We have measured ac susceptibility, nuclear magnetic resonance, and nuclear heat capacity of two PtFe x samples with concentrations of magnetic impurities x = 11 ppm and 41 ppm at magnetic fields (0 ± 0.05) mTB248 mT. The susceptibility data have been measured at temperatures of 0.3 KT100 mK, no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to a temperature of 0.3 K. The nuclear heat capacity data taken at 1.4 KT10 mK show enhanced values which scale with x at low polarization. This effect is described by a model assuming an internal magnetic field caused by the impurities. No indication for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to 1.4 K. The nuclear magnetic resonance experiments have been performed on these samples at 0.8 KT0.5 mK and 2.5 mTB22.8 mT as well as on three other samples with x = 5, 10, 31 ppm in a different setup at 40 KT0.5 mK and at 5.4 mTB200 mT. Spin-lattice and effective spin-spin relaxation times 1and 2 * of 195 Pt strongly depend on x and on the external magnetic field. No temperature dependence of 1and 2 * could be detected and the NMR data, too, give no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering to 0.8 K.  相似文献

Conversion-electron Mössbauer spectra of epitaxial -Fe16N2 and -Fe8N films have been studied and their differences are discussed in detail. The Mössbauer spectrum of -Fe16N2 can be decomposed into three subspectra, which correspond to the 4d, 8h and 4c sites. The Mössbauer spectrum of -Fe8N can be fitted using four spectra based on a nitrogen-atom-random-distribution model. The average hyperfine field is larger (3%) for -Fe16N2 than for -Fe8N, which is approximately consistent with a 4.1% enhancement of the magnetic moments for -Fe16N2. The iron moments tend to locate in the film plane for -Fe16N2 and to arrange perpendicularly to the film plane for -Fe8N.  相似文献

We present results of a thermodynamic analysis for the superconductors compounds BaPb0.7Bi0.3O3 and Ba0.7K0.3BiO3. The physical quantities are calculated making use of the Eliashberg theory and the electron-phonon spectra 2()F() as calculated by Shirai et al. For the superconductor BaPb0.7Bi0.3O3, several models of the 2()F() were studied looking for a better agreement with experimental data. The best fit is achieved with a simple constant scaling (C = 1.25) of the Shirai's spectra. The functional derivative of the deviation function D(t) with respect to changes in 2()F() is also calculated.  相似文献

An investigation has been made of the reversion of martensite () to austenite () in two stainless steels (i) Fe-16 wt% Cr-12 wt% Ni (of low interstitial content) (ii) Fe-15 wt% Cr-8 1/2 wt% Ni-2 wt% Mo-0.09 wt% C. The alloys were refrigerated to produce 12 to 15% martensite () and then heated for short times at various temperatures ranging from below A s to above A f. With rapid heating the reversion of to occurs largely by a shear mechanism. In the Fe-16Cr-12Ni alloy individual grains of transform to grains of reversed of similar size and shape. In the carbon-containing alloy there is evidence of break-up of the grains on reversion. An increase in the strength results from reversion and this is attributable mainly to the high dislocation density of the reversed .  相似文献

The structure at room temperature of a quenched TA6V titanium alloy has been investigated. This structure is + or + according to the treatment temperature; it is always metastable. During ageing the grains decomposed by the reaction + + +; this decomposition was accompanied by a large increase of the 0.2% yield stress. No structural modification was observed in. The and phase of TA6V were separately investigated in the form of single-phase alloys. The phases obtained in aluminium bronze (Cu-10Al-4Fe) cast into a permanent mould were investigated. The parameters examined were the pre-heating temperature of the mould and the graphite coating thickness. The phases and 2 were detected as well as the metastable phases and . The intermetallics of the system Fe-Al were obtained in various stoichiometric compositions. The different cooling rates of the casting resulted in two mechanisms of transformation to grains out of the unstable phase, one being nucleation and growth producing needle-shaped grains, the other exhibiting a massive transformation to spherical grains. These two mechanisms determine the changes in the size of the a grains as result of changes in the cooling rate in its various ranges.  相似文献

We present measurements of the critical opalescence of helium-4. The results are analyzed by the Einstein and Ornstein-Zernike theory and the power laws. We obtain ==1.17±0.02, ==0.62±0.1,/=4.5±0.3,P c =1706.008 mm Hg, andT c =5,189.863 mK (T 58 ). The critical behavior of helium-4 is almost the same as that of classical fluids and the influence of the quantum nature of helium-4 is not as evident as has been claimed.  相似文献

We experimentally investigate the pairing symmetry and electrodynamics of YBa2Cu3O7– (YBCO), Nd1.852Ce0.152CuO4 (NCCO), and Nb by examining the temperature dependence of the penetration depth(T) and surface resistanceR s (T) in a comparative manner. Using the measured(T) andR s (T), we extract the complex conductivity= 1–i2 for each sample, and the quasiparticle scattering time(T) for theab-plane andc-axis in YBCO. While NCCO and Nb show a strong resemblance in their electrodynamic properties, the electrodynamic properties of YBCO are very distinctive from the others. The results suggest that NCCO may have a BCSs-wave-like pairing state, while YBCO possibly has an unconventional pairing state. We compare the results on YBCO with thed-wave pairing scenario, as well as with other possible theoretical models.  相似文献

The ground state energy and orbital magnetic susceptibility of a small-particle superconductor are calculated with the use of perturbation theory, which is expected to give correct results in the limit of small particle size, i.e., when the average one-electron energy level spacing is much larger than the energy gap of the bulk metal. The method is applicable up to particles of intermediate size for which / = 1/4–1/2 (e.g., aluminum particles of radius 25–30 Å). The magnetic susceptibility does not undergo any drastic change in the region ~ when the particle size is varied, and quantum size effects do not show up in the susceptibility.Supported by a Grant-in-aid from the Japanese Ministry of Education.  相似文献

The mechanism of continuous dissolution was studied using transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and hardness measurements. The metastable phase was identified in the first stage of dissolution nucleating at the - boundaries. Interface dislocations at the - boundaries forming a perpendicular net in the 110 directions were identified as of screw character and of Burgers vector b=1/2a 110. During dissolution a change of shape of precipitates occurs leading to their fragmentation and to a change of the direction of boundaries into 110 directions.  相似文献

Summary An approximate analytical solution of the large deflection axisymmetric response of polar orthotropic thin truncated conical and spherical shallow caps is presented. Donnell type equations are employed. The deflection is approximated by a one term mode shape satisfying the boundary conditions. Martensitic transformations in Ti-Mo alloys   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
A detailed investigation has been made of the structure of alloys of the Ti-Mo system containing up to 10wt% Mo, water-quenched from the-phase region. With increase in molybdenum content, the martensite structure changes from hexagonal () to orthorhombic () at 4 wt% Mo, and at 10 wt% Mo, the structure is completely retained . For alloy compositions <4 wt% Mo, there is a diffusional component in the transformation of the -phase at the quench rates employed. There is a transition, with increase in molybdenum content, in morphology (from massive to acicular) and in substructure (from dislocations to twins). However, the transitions in crystallography, morphology and sub-structure are not directly related to one another except for an abrupt loss of dislocation substructure at the/ transition. The to crystallographic transition has the characteristics of a second order transformation, and evidence has been obtained of the existence of a spinodal within the metastable orthorhombic system. The orthorhombic martensites of Ti-6 and 8 wt% Mo decompose during quenching producing a fine modulated structure within the martensite plates, consistent with a proposed spinodal mode of decomposition.  相似文献
