面向下一代互联网(NGI, next generation Internet)的实际需要,提出了一种总最佳连接(ABC, always best connected)支持型切换决策机制.引入模糊数学和微观经济学等相关知识,刻画应用类型、服务质量(QoS, quality of service)需求、接入网络和移动终端,综合考虑接入网络状况、应用需求、用户对接入网络编码制式偏好、用户对接入网络供应商偏好、终端当前运动速度和终端当前剩余电量等因素.使用博弈分析,基于变异与模拟退火相结合的混合人工鱼群算法,寻找把N个终端分配到M个接入网络的最佳切换决策方案,使各方效用达到或接近Nash均衡下的Pareto最优.仿真结果表明,该机制是有效的,性能较好.  相似文献

蜂窝车联网(C-V2X)与车载自组织网络(VANET)的异构融合能够有效提高网络容量。然而,不同网络在非授权频段上共存而引起的信道冲突会导致系统吞吐量降低和用户接入时延增大,无法满足车联网用户对服务质量(QoS)的需求。针对该问题,该文提出一种基于用户个性化QoS需求的时频资源分配方法。首先,分别对C-V2X 和 VANET 的吞吐量和时延进行建模分析,刻画用户数据传输时间配置与吞吐量和时延的数学关系;然后,基于上述模型构建吞吐量-时延联合优化函数,根据用户的个性化QoS需求实现异构网络中吞吐量和时延的优化;最后,提出一种基于改进多目标粒子群优化的时延-吞吐量联合优化算法(DT-JOA)进行求解。仿真结果表明,该文所提网络资源分配算法可以有效地保证用户的个性化QoS需求,提升异构网络综合性能。  相似文献

该文主要解决未来大规模接入场景下,无线异构多层多小区通信网络设计及其多级服务质量(QoS)实现等问题。针对多层异构大规模接入网络的通信需求,该文提出一种基于跳频(FH)的稀疏码分多址接入(SCMA)多层异构传输方案(FH/SCMA)。该通信方案中,小区内大规模用户数据通过SCMA技术复用,异构网络的层间小区和层内小区通过跳频码分多址进行区分。由于传统跳频只能提供同一级别的频点碰撞率(即同一误码率),无法保证异构网络多级QoS需求,因此该文进而提出一类新的具有两级汉明相关值的跳频序列集合,利用交织技术给出了这类跳频序列的设计方法。为了验证所提出的多级QoS跳频及其异构多层FH/SCMA通信性能,该文从序列设计和系统分析方面进行了严谨的理论分析和大量的仿真验证。研究表明,采用了新型跳频SCMA技术的多层异构网络可保证大规模用户接入、有效抑制多层小区干扰和衰落信道影响;同时,又可实现异构多层网络多级QoS传输质量需求(多级误码率(BER))。该文的研究成果从信号处理与传输角度,为多层异构网络设计及其多级QoS传输需求提供了有价值的解决方案。  相似文献

针对异构云无线接入网络(H-CRAN)网络下基于网络切片的在线无线资源动态优化问题,该文通过综合考虑业务接入控制、拥塞控制、资源分配和复用,建立一个以最大化网络平均和吞吐量为目标,受限于基站(BS)发射功率、系统稳定性、不同切片的服务质量(QoS)需求和资源分配等约束的随机优化模型,并进而提出了一种联合拥塞控制和资源分配的网络切片动态资源调度算法。该算法会在每个资源调度时隙内动态地为性能需求各异的网络切片中的用户分配资源。仿真结果表明,该文算法能在满足各切片用户QoS需求和维持网络稳定的基础上,提升网络整体吞吐量,并且还可通过调整控制参量的取值实现时延和吞吐量间的动态平衡。  相似文献

VLC-Wi Fi异构网络已经成为广受欢迎的短距离无线通信方式之一。然而,有限的频谱资源导致VLC-Wi Fi异构网络容量难以满足井喷式增长的用户数据带宽需求。该文结合物理层的动态链路传输性能以及媒体访问控制层的队列缓冲延迟性能,定义链路传输性能和链路服务质量(QoS)感知等级评估公式,根据用户数据包QoS需求,设计QoS感知的跨层动态资源分配(QoS-CLDRA)方法,并引入非正交多址接入的用户匹配与功率分配策略,进一步提升系统的吞吐量。仿真结果表明:所提方法能够有效提升系统吞吐量和降低缓冲队列长度。  相似文献

Operators of wireless infrastructures should maintain their users “always-best-connected”. This concept means that applications should be offered to users at the best possible Quality of Service (QoS) level, taking into account profile, context and policy information. The profiles provide the user requirements and preferences, the terminal capabilities, and the application requirements. The policies provide the objectives, constraints imposed by various stakeholders, for instance the network operator (NO). The context of operation designates relevant applications, available networks and their QoS capabilities. The “always-best-connectivity” concept can be achieved by directing user terminals to the most appropriate networks of the heterogeneous infrastructure of the NO. In this respect, advanced terminal management functionality is required. This paper presents management mechanisms for utility-based cognitive network selections. The utility is used for expressing the user desire for a QoS level. Cognition mechanisms are applied for learning the QoS capabilities of candidate networks, and therefore increasing the reliability and seamlessness of the network selections. Extensive results are provided, which show the behaviour of the scheme in terms of network selections made, and computational effort required for the acquisition of the knowledge.  相似文献

The seamless internetworking among heterogeneous networks is in great demand to provide ‘always‐on’ connectivity services with quality of service (QoS) provision, anywhere at anytime. The integration of wireless‐fidelity (Wi‐Fi) and wireless metropolitan area networks (WiMAX) networks can combine their best features to provide ubiquitous access, while mediating the weakness of both networks. While it is challenging to obtain optimized handover decision‐based dynamic QoS information, users can improve their perceived QoS by using the terminal‐controlled handover decision in a single device equipped with multiple radio interfaces. The IEEE 802.21 aims at providing a framework that defines media‐independent handover (MIH) mechanism that supports seamless handover across heterogeneous networks. In this paper, an multiple attributes decision making‐based terminal‐controlled vertical handover decision scheme using MIH services is proposed in the integrated Wi‐Fi and WiMAX networks to provide ‘always‐on’ connectivity QoS services. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme provides smaller handover times and lower dropping rate than the RSS‐based and cost function‐based vertical handover schemes. Multimode capability empowers mobile devices to select the appropriate network to meet the requirements of user and applications. However, network selection is a challenging task owing to heterogeneous nature of network access links. At the same time, pervasiveness of mobile communication networks accompanied by the advances in wireless devices has raised the user expectations of persistent service and quality. Therefore, it is important for a mobile device to take situation‐based and timely decisions while selecting an access network to ensure both user's and operator's demand. The existing standard, called IEEE 802.21 (media‐independent handover), considers mobile device signal‐strength parameter for network selection from a list of networks. This research has proposed a ranking algorithm to rank heterogeneous networks based on a set of parameters including user profile and QoS. It selects most suitable network owing to multiple handover scenarios. The simulation results have shown that the proposed scheme has successfully satisfied apparently the contradictory requirements related to user profiles and QoS simultaneously.  相似文献

In broadband satellite access networks, the efficient management of the return channel transmission capacity is key in reducing the service cost while satisfying the QoS requirements of IP-based multimedia applications. In this article a dynamic capacity allocation scheme based on combined free/demand assignment multiple access is proposed, allowing the return channel capacity to be efficiently shared among many user terminals. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme provides adequate DiffServ IP QoS support while maintaining high satellite bandwidth utility and reduced DCA signaling overhead.  相似文献

Ensuring quality of service (QoS) for the mobile users during vertical handover between IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks (WLAN) and data network provided by Ultramodern Telecommunication Systems (UMTS) is one of the key requirements for seamless mobility and transfer of existing connections from one network to another. QoS fulfillment is a complex problem and requires participation of both the mobile users as well as the connection networks. The QoS assurance criteria for existing connections can be affected by fluctuations of data rates when a user moves from the high speed WLAN network to the low speed UMTS network, even in the presence of another WLAN network in its vicinity. This can happen if the alternate WLAN network is highly loaded. Therefore handover from a high speed network to a low speed network should be avoided, whenever possible. This paper proposes a QoS based handover procedure that prioritizes the existing connection over the new connections so that rate fluctuations due to handover can be avoided if there exist another WLAN network in the range of the mobile user. Whenever the possibility of handover is detected, a pre-handover bandwidth reservation technique is used to reserve bandwidth at the alternate WLAN networks to avoid QoS degradation. The proposed scheme is implemented in Qualnet network simulator and the performance is analyzed and compared with traditional handover techniques.  相似文献

Supporting seamless handovers between different wireless networks is a challenging issue. One of the most important aspects of a seamless handover is finding a target network and point of attachment (PoA). This is achieved by performing a so‐called channel scanning. In most handovers, such as between universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS), wireless local area network (WLAN), and worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX), channel scanning causes severe service disruptions with the current PoA and degrades the quality of service (QoS) during the handover. In this paper, a new architecture for QoS supported scanning that can be generalized to different wireless networks is proposed. It employs two techniques. The first is for determining a policy‐based order for the channel scanning sequence. With this technique, depending on the network costs and user requirements, the policy engine determines the channel scanning order for different network types and sets up a scanning sequence of PoAs for a given network type. This policy‐based scanning order provides a faster discovery of the target PoA that meets the QoS demands of the user. The second technique consists of a QoS supported dynamic scanning algorithm where the scanning frequency and duration are determined based on the user QOS requirements. Most importantly, the scanning duration is scheduled to guarantee the user QoS requirements while the scan progresses. Simulation results show that the proposed mechanism achieves relatively short service disruptions and provides the desired quality to users during the scanning period. Handover in Digital Video Broadcasting for Handhelds (DVB-H) aims to provide continuous mobile broadcasting services when a user is traveling through cell boundaries. A good handover control can improve the power efficiency and gain much better reception quality. This letter provides a novel approach for DVB-H handover based on DVB-H/Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) hybrid network, which moves the main handover function from the terminals to the networks, so that it reduces the operation complexity of the terminals and increases the power saving. When the terminal can not receive the DVB-H signal in the transmission shadow areas or because of some other reasons, the UMTS networks may offer the same service to users to make the service continuous. As the UMTS networks have the topology of the DVB-H networks, by communicating with the terminals, the UMTS networks can help the terminals to predict the handover, and avoid unnecessary handover.  相似文献

This paper proposes a mobility management scheme to provide a mobile node with high-quality handovers among heterogeneous wireless access networks. The proposed scheme employs a signaling architecture to support fast and reliable delivery of control messages by separating a control plane from a data transport plane in the core network. The proposed scheme is based on the network-based mobility management framework which requires the minimum modifications on terminal devices. With interaction between Layers 2 and 3, the proposed scheme accelerates the handover control procedures. It also enables a mobile subscriber to select a target network for a vertical handover with consideration of not only wireless signal strength but also user preference and quality-of-service status. The proposed scheme addresses the well-known problems of the Mobile IP-based approaches, triangular routing and bottleneck at the home agent, since it establishes a data tunnel for a mobile node along the shortest path between two different access networks. The simulation and experimental results indicate that our scheme provisions more efficient performance than the existing approaches in terms of handover latency, data packet loss, data delivery latency and load balancing.  相似文献
