The aim of the present work is to develop updated FE models of a drilling machine using analytical and experimental results. These updated FE models have been used to predict the effect of structural dynamic modifications on vibration characteristics of the drilling machine. Two studies have been carried out on the machine. In the first study, modal tests have been carried out on a drilling machine using instrumented impact hammer. Modal identification has been done using global method of modal identification. For analytical FE modeling of the machine, a computer program has been developed. The results obtained using FEM, have been correlated with the experimental ones using mode shape comparison and MAC values. Analytical FE model has been updated, with the help of a program, which has been developed using direct methods of model updating. In the second study, modal testing has been carried out using random noise generator and modal exciter. Global method has been used for modal identification. Analytical FE modeling has been done using I-DEAS software. Correlation of FE results with the experimental ones has been carried out using FEMtools software. Updating of the analytical FE model has also been done using the above software, based on an indirect technique viz. sensitivity based parameter estimation technique. The updated FE models, obtained from both the studies have been used for structural dynamic modifications (SDM), for the purpose of dynamic design and the results of SDM predictions are seen to be reasonably satisfactory.  相似文献

分析了接触迹对齿轮副啮合性能的影响及其之间的关系.对生产中广泛应用的格里森计算程序进行了改进,通过比例修正实现了齿面接触性能的预控,最后对内对角接触与常规设计的齿轮副啮合性能进行了对比试验.实验证明,接触迹采用内对角设计能够有效地改进齿轮副的动态啮合性能.  相似文献

This present study focused on the effect of machining parameters such as helix angle of cutter, spindle speed, feed rate, axial and radial depth of cut on temperature rise in end milling. A prediction model of the temperature rise was developed using response surface methodology. The experiments were conducted on Al 6063 by high-speed steel end mill cutter based on central composite rotatable designs consisting of 32 experiments. The temperature rise was measured using K-type thermocouple. The adequacy of the model was verified using analysis of variance. The given model is utilized to analyze direct and interaction effect of the machining parameters with temperature rise. The optimization of machining process parameters to obtain minimum temperature rise was done using genetic algorithms. A source code using C language was developed to do the optimization. The obtained optimal machining parameters gave a value of 0.173 °C for minimum temperature rise.  相似文献

使用圆柱立铣刀数控铣削加工链轮,采用直角坐标系(直线轴)附加旋转轴的控制方式:应用直线轴控制多段曲线的连接。完成链轮各单齿齿形的数控加工,使用数控回转工作台完成链轮零件的分齿运动,利用子程序来循环重复上述运动。此加工方式相比二维坐标轴数控加工链轮的控制具有更为理想的加工效果。并且在保证零件设计基准、装夹定位基准和装配基准重合的基础上,应用子程序有效地保证了链轮各齿形尺寸精度的一致性;使用旋转坐标控制,有效地保证和降低了链轮轮齿的分齿误差。在数控铣床上使用普通圆盘工作台,利用暂停指令手动进行链轮齿形分齿运动的做法.更加完善和拓宽了数控技术具体应用的实用性。  相似文献

Tool wear has been extensively studied in the past due to its effect on the surface quality of the finished product. Vision-based systems using a CCD camera are increasingly being used for measurement of tool wear due to their numerous advantages compared to indirect methods. Most research into tool wear monitoring using vision systems focusses on off-line measurement of wear. The effect of wear on surface roughness of the workpiece is also studied by measuring the roughness off-line using mechanical stylus methods. In this work, a vision system using a CCD camera and backlight was developed to measure the surface roughness of the turned part without removing it from the machine in-between cutting processes, i.e. in-cycle. An algorithm developed in previous work was used to automatically correct tool misalignment using the images and measure the nose wear area. The surface roughness of turned parts measured using the machine vision system was verified using the mechanical stylus method. The nose wear was measured for different feed rates and its effect on the surface roughness of the turned part was studied. The results showed that surface roughness initially decreased as the machining time of the tool increased due to increasing nose wear and then increased when notch wear occurred.  相似文献

本文针对彩色印刷、印染等行业中存在的位置偏差问题,设计出了基于模糊控制思想的光电式纠偏系统。该系统用PLC作为核心控制器、GK112光电隔离器检测位置偏移量、三相步进电机驱动丝杠作为执行机构。通过实验证明了该系统有较高的实用性。  相似文献
