A green-yellow emitting β-Sr2SiO4:Eu2+ phosphor for near ultraviolet chip white-light-emitting diode
Sr2SiO4:xEu2 phosphors were synthesized through the solid-state reaction technique. The crystal phase of Sr2SiO4:xEu2 phosphor manipulated by Eu2 concentration was studied. The phase transited from β to α′ in Sr2SiO4:xEu2 phosphor with increasing europium concentration. The single β phase was formed as x≤0.005 and changed α′ phase when x>0.01. The emission spectrum of the β-Sr2SiO4:Eu2 phosphor consisted of a green-yellow broadband peaking at around 540 nm and a blue band at 470 nm under near ultraviolet excitation. The white LEDs by combining near ultraviolet chips with β-Sr2SiO4:Eu2 phosphors were fabricated. The luminous efficiency (15.7 lm/W) was higher than α′-Sr2SiO4:Eu2 phosphor white LED. 相似文献

A novel red phosphor Eu3+ doped magnesium titanate (MgTiO3) was synthesized via sol-gel method. The X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD) revealed that a pure MgTiO3 phase was obtained. Its excitation spectrum consisted of a broad band (<350nm) and a series of narrow bands in the long wavelength, and the strongest excitation peak at 465nm might be exited by GaN-chip to emit red light for white LED. The phosphors showed strong emission at 614nm which could be attributed to the 5D0→7F2 emission of Eu3+ . The emission intensity of MgTiO3:Eu3+ phosphor reached the maximum at the Eu3+ concentration of 3.5mol.%. The luminescent properties (such as emission intensity and decay times) were further improved by introducing Al3+ as a charge compensator, demonstrating potential applications in white LED. 相似文献

Pr~(3+)-doped Li_2SrSiO_4 red phosphor for white LEDs 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Novel red phosphors,Li2Sr1-1.5xSiO4:xPr3+(x=0.002,0.003,0.004,0.005,0.006 and 0.008),were synthesized by conventional solid state reaction and the luminescent properties were investigated. The as-prepared phosphors showed red emission at 610 nm under excitation of blue light at 452 nm,indicating that they were promising candidates for red phosphors in the fabrication of white LEDs via blue LED chips.Their excitation bands at 452,476 and 487 nm were attributed to transitions of 3H4→3P2,3H4→3P1+1I6,3H4→3P0 of Pr3+ ion.The red emissions at 606 and 610 nm were originated from the 3P0-3H6 and 1D2-3H4 transitions of Pr3+.The optimum doping concentration of Pr3+ in Li2Sr1-1.5xSiO4:xPr3+ was determined to be x=0.004.With the concentration of Pr3+ over x=0.004,the fluorescence intensity of Li2Sr1-1.5xSiO4:xPr3+ decreased, indicating the concentration quenching occurred. 相似文献

The efficient Eu2+ -doped Ba3 Si6O12N2 green phosphors were prepared by a traditional solid state reaction method under N2 /H2 atmosphere at a temperature up to 1350 oC for 12h. Photoluminescence (PL) properties showed a broad emission band with a peak of 525 nm and the full width of half-emission maximums (FWHM) of 70 nm under 460 nm light irradiation. The X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of the synthesized powder demonstrated its pure phase and excellent crystallization. Quenching concentration in this phosphor was found to be 0.3. The mechanisms of concentration quenching and redshift of emission peak with increasing concentration of Eu2+ were studied. The temperature dependence measurement of this green phosphor revealed excellent thermal quenching property compared to silicate green phosphor. It is believed that Ba3 Si6O12N2 :Eu2+ is an excellent green phosphor for UV or blue chip based white LEDs. 相似文献

White light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) fabricated by single-phase full color emitting phosphor are an emerging solution for health lighting. The crystallographic site occupation of activators in a proper host lattice is crucial for sophisticated design of such phosphor. Here, we report a high quality white light-emitting phosphor Ba2Ca(BO3)2:Ce3+(K+),Eu2+,Mn2+ with spectral distribution covering whole visible region. Blue light emission originates from Ce3+ ions occupying preferentially Ba2+ site by controlling synthesis conditions. Green and red lights are obtained from Eu2+ occupying Ba2+ (and Ca2+) site and Mn2+ occupying Ca2+ site, respectively. In this triple-doped phosphor, strong red emission with a low concentration of Mn2+ is realized by the efficient energy transfer from Ce3+ and Eu2+ to Mn2+. Furthermore, high quality white light is accomplished by properly tuning the relative doping amount of Ce3+(K+)/Eu2+/Mn2+ based on efficient simultaneous energy transfer. The results indicate that Ba2Ca(BO3)2:Ce3+(K+),Eu2+,Mn2+ is a promising white light-emitting phosphor in WLEDs application. 相似文献

A new aluminosilicate long-lasting phosphor with composition of NaAlSiO4:Eu2+,Ho3+ was synthesized and investigated. Under UV light excitation, the phosphor emitted yellow light corresponding to the characteristic emission of Eu2+ due to 5d-4f transition. Bright yellow phosphorescence sustaining for more than 30 min was observed after ceasing the excitation. The phosphorescence intensity decay obeyed a t–1 decay law, indicating a tunneling electron-hole recombination process in the phosphor. Four peaks appeared in the thermoluminescence curve and the ones at 322 and 370 K were thought to account for the long lasting phosphorescence at room temperature. The Ho3+ ion incorporated into the phosphor did not give any light but dramatically increased the intensities of both photoluminescence and phosphorescence via promoting defect levels in the phosphor. 相似文献

YAG:Ce phosphor was synthesized by a novel simple method, wherein the admixture of three raw materials(Y2O3,α-Al2O3 and CeO2) were first acidified by diluted nitric acid to prepare a precursor, followed by a high temperature heating treatment of the obtained precursor under reductive atmosphere.Through XRD measurement and SEM observation,it was found that Y2O3,one of the raw material, was firstly dissolved into the diluted nitric acid, and then recrystallized on the surface of both α-Al2O3 and CeO2 to form a no... 相似文献

Hydrothermal preparation and persistence characteristics of nanosized phosphor SrS:Eu^2+,Dy^3+ 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Nanosized long-persistent phosphors SrS: Eu2+, Dy3+ were prepared by the hydrothermal method. The samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and charge-coupled device spectrometry. The persistence characteristic was studied using the decay curves. The results showed that the emission intensity decreased sharply with temperature increasing, although the particle size increased. The S2- vacancies caused by oxidization served as shallow traps, and Dy3+ served as deep traps in SrS: Eu2+, Dy3+. The afterglow intensity of SrS: Eu2+, Dy3+ was higher than that of SrS: Eu2+ prepared at the same temperature. However, the minimization span of initial afterglow with temperature for the former sample was larger than that for the latter. Binary-doped phosphor decayed more slowly than the singly doped one. The afterglow of SrS: Eu2+, Dy3+ decayed more quickly with the increase of sintering temperature. 相似文献

As an improvement of reported Y202S:Tb3 , a white-light long-lasting phosphor: Y2O2S:Tb3 , Sm3 was prepared by the solid-state reaction. The photo-luminescence spectra showed that the position and shape of Th3 and Sm3 emissions under UV excitation were similar in this host, which ensured a stable white emission color (daylight standard of IEC) under different excitations. The decay curves of co-doped samples indicated that the decay times of emissions of the two ions were close. The thermo-luminescence measurement suggested that the traps created by the doped Sm3 ions were helpful to postpone the white afterglow of co-doped samples. Therefore, thefunction of co-doped Sm3 ions was confirmned as improving the white emission colors of samples and acting as new trap centers. 相似文献

A series of new red-emitting BaCa1-2xBO3F:xEu3+, xM+ (M=Li, Na, K) phosphors were synthesized by the solid-reaction method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), diffuse reflection (UV-vis) and photoluminescence spectra were utilized to characterize the crystallization process, structure and luminescence properties of the as-synthesized phosphors. The XRD results indicated that the sample began to crystallize at 800 oC, and single-phase BaCaBO3F was fully obtained after annealing at 1000 oC. The charge compensated behav... 相似文献

A white long-lasting phosphor Ca2MgSi2O7:Dy3+ was prepared by the solid-state reaction. A strong band peaked at 260 nm was shown in the excitation spectrum of 578 nm emission, which might be attributed to the oxygen deficiency of the host. After irradiated with 254 nm for 4 min, the white afterglow of the sample could be seen for 3 h. Moreover, the depths and frequency factors of trap centers were cal-culated from the thermo-luminescence curve of the sample, which indicated that the trap centers corresponding to the 414 K band were more helpful to the long-lasting phosphorescence. 相似文献

The well crystalline YAG:Ce3 phosphor was synthesized by solid-state method, and the temperature dependence of excitation and emission spectra of YAG:Ce3 phosphor were investigated in the temperature range from room temperature to 573 K. With temperature increasing, it was noted that the emission intensity of as-prepared phosphors decreased considerably more rapidly when pumped by 460 nm than by 340 nm. The temperature-intensity curves under different excitation wavelengths were obtained using an Arrhenius function, and the corresponding activation energies were also obtained respectively. Thus, the experimental phenomenon was discussed in terms of nonradiative decay rate. The effects of as-prepared phosphors on the performance of the white LED with changing temperature were also studied. 相似文献
