SiAlON phosphors doped with rare earths have attracted much attention on the application of light emitting diode(LEDs) benefitting from their outstanding thermal stability, chemical stability and broad emission band properties. In this work, Eu-doped β-SiAlON green phosphors with composition Si_(5.5)Al_(0.5)O_(0.5)N_(7.5):0.035Eu~(2+) were prepared by a highly efficient combustion synthesis(CS) method. The effect of comburent ratios(i.e., Si Al) were systematically investigated by adjusting the starting compositions of reactants. It was confirmed that the ratios of Si and Al reactants had an intense influence on the phase composition, microstructure and photoluminescence properties of as-synthesized phosphors by directly determining the systematic energy in CS. The as-prepared β-SiAlON:Eu~(2+) phosphors featured with high phase purity, uniform particle size of 3–5 μm, well-crystalline morphology and outstanding luminescent properties of green emission under UV or blue excitation were synthesized with 67.5 wt.% ratio of Si and no Al comburent.  相似文献

A needle-like Eu2+ and Dy3+ co-doped BaAl2O4 long-lasting phosphor was synthesized via a hydrothermal-homogeneous precipitation method assisted by cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) as a template. The crystal structure, morphology and optical properties of the composites were characterized.XRD results showed that the single-phase BaAl2O4 was formed at 900 ℃ in an active carbon atmosphere, which was much lower than that prepared by traditional solid-state reaction method.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) observation revealed that the precursor had well-dispersed distribution and showed needle-like morphology with the average diameter of about 100 nm and the length up to 1 μm.The final product,BaAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor, inherited the needle-like shape from precursor via adding the surfactant CTAB.After irradiation by ultraviolet radiation with 355 nm for 5 min,the phosphors emitted bluish green color long-lasting phosphorescence corresponding to the typical emission of Eu2+ ion. Both the photoluminescence spectra and luminance decay revealed that the phosphor had efficient luminescent and long-lasting properties.  相似文献

In this paper, the Gd2O3:Eu3+,Tb3+phosphors with different doping concentrations of Eu3+and Tb3+ions were prepared by a hydrothermal method for nanocrystals and the solid-phase method for microcrystals. The interaction of the doped ions with different concentrations and the luminescent properties of the nanocrystals and microcrystals were studied systematically. Their structure and morphology of Gd2O3:Eu3+,Tb3+phosphors were analyzed by means of X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron mi-croscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The photoluminescence (PL) properties of Gd2O3:Eu3+,Tb3+phosphors were also systematically investigated. The results indicated that when the concentration of doped Eu3+was fixed at 1 mol.%, the emis-sion intensity of Eu3+ions was degenerating with Tb3+content increasing, while when the Tb3+content was fixed at 1 mol.%, the emission intensity of Tb3+ions reached a maximum when the concentration of Eu3+was 2 mol.%, implying that the energy transfer from Eu3+to Tb3+took place. In addition, Tb3+could inspire blue-green light and the Eu3+could inspire red light. Therefore co-doping systems by controlling the doping concentration and the hosts are the potential white emission materials.  相似文献

Eu3+ activated Ca4Yt(SiO4)60 phosphors were prepared by combustion synthesis method, and their morphologies and lu- minescent properties were investigated. Field scanning electron microscopy (FSEM) confirmed that the crystallite sizes of nanoparti- cles with narrow diameter ranging from 30 to 60 rim. The excitation spectra of CaaY6(SiO4)60:Etl3+ showed that there existed two strong excitation bands at around 399 nm (TFo----~SL6) and 469 nm (TF0---*SD2), which were consistent with the output wavelengths of near-UV and blue LEDs, respectively. The emission spectra of Ca4Y6(SiO4)60:Eu3+ were dominant by a red peak located at 614 nm due to the 5Do→7TF2 transition of Eu3+. With the increase of Eu3+concentration, the luminescence intensity of the red phosphor reached maximum and then decreased. The optimum concentration for Eug+in Ca4Y6(SiO4)60 was 21 mol.%.  相似文献

A series of NaBa1-x-yPO4: xCe3+, yTb3+ phosphors were synthesized by solid-state reaction method. The crystal structure, photoluminescence emission and excitation spectra and decay times of the phosphors were carefully investigated. The results revealed that an efficient energy transfer occurred from Ce3+ to Tb3+ ions in NaBaPO4 host by means of dipole-dipole interactions and the critical distance of the energy transfer was about 0.638 nm. Moreover, the phosphor emitted strong green emission under UV excitation, indicating that the phosphors are potentially useful as a highly efficient, green-emitting phosphor.  相似文献

Green emitting Eu2+-doped (Ba3_xSrx)Si6012N2 solid solutions were synthesized through solid state reaction at 1350 ℃ for 10 h under a N2/H2 atmosphere. The XRD patterns revealed that the solid solution series of (Ba3 x-ySrx)Si6Ol2N2:yEu2+ with x value ranging from 0-0.6 were established. An efficient and intense tunable green light was observed by varying the cation Sr/Ba ratio. The emission spectra exhibited an entire shift towards long wavelength with increasing ofx value, which was caused by large crystal field splitting and Stokes shift. The x value dependence of emission intensity was discovered and explained by the enhanced probability of electron from excited 4f state to 5d ground state via nonradioactive transition. Highly thermal stability and feasible color coordinates were verified. White LEDs with excellent photochromic properties were fabricated by packing GaN based blue chips and (Ba Sr)3Si6012N2:Eu2+ phosphors. All results indicated that the (Ba3_xSrx)SirO12N2:Eu2+ phosphors were confirmed to be a promising candidate for pc-white LEDs in solid state lighting.  相似文献

SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ hollow microspheres were successfully prepared through a facile and mild solvothermal co-precipitation combining with a postcalcining process. The structure and particle morphology were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning and transmission electron microscopy(SEM and TEM)pictures, respectively. The mechanism for the formation of spherical SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor was preliminary presented. After being irradiated with ultraviolet(UV)light, the spherical phosphor emitted long-lasting green phosphorescence. Both the photoluminescence(PL)spectra and luminance decay, compared with that of commercial bulky powders, revealed that the phosphors had efficient luminescent and long lasting properties. It was considered that the SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ hollow microspheres had promising long-lasting phosphorescence with potential scale-dependent applications in photonic devices.  相似文献

Eu3+ -activated Gd2(MoO4)3 pseudo-pompon-like red-emitting phosphors were prepared by solid-state method. The structure, morphology, and luminescent properties of these powder samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and fluorescent spectrophotometry, respectively. The as-obtained phosphors were single crystalline phase with orthorhombic unit cell. The particles of the powder samples had the length of 5-12 μm and width of 3-7 μm with flake shape and large surface area, which is suitable for manufacture of white LEDs.The phosphor could be efficiently excited by the incident light of 348-425 nm,well matched with the output wavelength of near-UV (In,Ga)N chip, and re-emitted an intense red light peaking at 615 nm.By combing this phosphor with a~395 nmemitting (In,Ga)N chip,a red LED was fabricated,so that the applicability of this novel phosphor to white LEDs was confirmed. It is considered to be an efficient red-emitting conversion phosphor for solid-state lighting based on (In,Ga)N LEDs.  相似文献

A series of red phosphors M3BO6:Eu3+(M=La,Y) were synthesized at 1150 oC by conventional solid state reaction method and their luminescent properties were investigated.Structural characterization of the luminescent materials was carried out with X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) analysis.Photoluminescence measurements indicated that the La3BO6:Eu3+ phosphor exhibited bright red emission centered at about 612 nm 626 nm under UV excited.La3BO6:Eu3+ phosphor had better luminescent intensity than Y3BO6:Eu3+ phosphors under the same excitation and measuring conditions. It was shown that the 0.08 mol.% Eu3+ ions in La3BO6:Eu3+ phosphors was optimal. The color parameter indicated that La3BO6:Eu3+ phosphor was a preferable red phosphor for white LED.  相似文献

Y2O2S:Eu nano crystallines were prepared by a new ethanol assisted combustion synthesis method using sulfurcontained organic fuel in an ethanol-aqueous solution. The as-prepared nanocrystallines were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscope, photoluminescence spectra and X-ray luminescence spectra. It is shown that the assistant fuel ethanol has the effect of decreasing the water needed, simplifying the experiment procedure by dissolving rare earth nitrate and sulfur-contained organic fuel into an even solution, and prompting the formation of rare earth oxysulfide by igniting firstly during heating that leads to combustion decomposition reaction. Y2O2S : Eu nano crystallines with strong photoluminescence and X-ray luminescence are obtained using thioacetamide as organic fuel. Mixtures of Y2O3 : Eu and Y2O2S : Eu are acquired using thiourea as fuel, and the content of Y2O2S : Eu increases until reaches to about half of the Y2O3 : Eu with the increasing amount of thiourea. Y2O2SO4 : Eu emerges when S/Y = 6 and increases with increasing thiourea amount.  相似文献

Nanoscale Lu2O3:Eu3+ phosphor was prepared by a modified solution combustion method using urea and acrylamide monomer. The particle sizes and photoluminescent properties of nano-phosphor were closely related to the molar ratio of urea-to-RE nitrates and acrylamide monomer-to-RE nitrates. The as-prepared samples with the sizes of 9.6-11.6 nm were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer.Lu2O3:Eu3+ nano-phosphor that depicted high photoluminescence in the size around 10 nm was reported.Compared with the sample prepared by solid state reaction, the photoluminescence of sample was increased sufficiently to be 45.1%.The emission spectra of the samples presented the typical emission from 5D0 level to 7FJ(J=0,1,2,3,4) level of the Eu3+ ion.  相似文献

BaMgAl10O17: Eu^2+ phosphors was prepared by the solid-reaction method. Y2SiO5 was coated uniformly on the surface of phosphor by the surface-coated method, and the luminescent and deterioration properties were discussed. The XRD and SEM results show that Y2SiO5 film is produced on the surface of BAM phosphor. The emission spectrum analysis shows that the peak of the phosphor does not change after coating. The two phosphors were applied to lamps and the deterioration was tested at different ignited time. The keep ratio of luminous flux of the phosphor coated with Y2SiO5 is higher than that of the uncoated phosphor.  相似文献

A new convenient calcium cyanamide (CaCN2) reduction route was developed to synthesize the Eu^2+ activated Ca-α-SiAION phosphors containing low oxygen content. The luminescence properties of the obtained products were investigated for white LEDs application. The critical Eu^2+ concentration in various hosts and its effect on the photoluminescence properties were studied. The optimized sample (10at.% Eu^2+ vs. Ca^2+) could be efficiently excited by the current GaN/InGaN blue LED chips and provided emission intensity competitive with that of YAG:Ce^3+ (P46-Y3) standard, revealing that this phosphor was a potential candidate for phosphor-converted white LEDs.  相似文献

The synthesis of BaMgAl10O17: Eu^2+ (BAM) phosphors using the sol-gel method and their luminescence properties were reported. The blue-light emitting BAM was synthesized using citric acid and ethylene glycol as chelating materials. Emission of blue-light was obtained from these phosphors. The luminescent intensity increases as the temperature of heat treatment is increased, This study investigated the effects of the molar ratio of ethylene glycol to citric acid (Ф value), with respect to the phase formation and luminescence properties of BAM. The variation of the Фvalue resulted in the change of the sol-gel reaction mechanism and the microstructures of the resultant powders. An increase in Фvalue leads to an increase in the rate of BAM phase formation. The photoluminescent intensity of the prepared phosphors increases with heating temperatures because of enhanced crystallization.  相似文献

Nanowires/nanorods of europium/terbium orthophosphate monohydrate with Eu3+ concentration of 6,11,and 20 at.% were prepared by microwave synthesis method. The effects of Eu3+ doping concentration on structure, morphology and optical properties of nanoma-terials were also investigated. The results showed that, for all studied Eu3+ doping concentrations,a single-crystalline phase of rhabdo-phane-type(Eu,Tb) PO4·H2O nanowires/nanorods was obtained by using microwave heating of an aqueous solution of terbium(III) nitrate, europium(III) nitrate and NH4H2PO4 with pH=2.The length and width of these nanowires/nanorods ranged from 150 to 300 nm and from 10 to 50 nm,respectively. The evidence of energy transfer from Tb3+ to Eu3+ due to the energy overlap between the donor Tb3+ and the acceptor Eu3+ was observed obviously via a significant enhancement in the luminescent intensity of Eu3+.  相似文献
